Summary
Growing up, Kamiki Hikaru always took solace from his unfortunate fate of presenting as an omega — even before turning eighteen, he know he will be presenting as omega when he turns eighteen because at the age of eleven, your personal scent will start to develop and you can faintly smell what your secondary gender would be from your developing scent. And eighteen is the age where one would be presenting as their secondary gender fully — by staring at his left hand.
In this world, besides presenting with a secondary gender at the age of eighteen, you also have a 50/50 chance to be born with a mark on your body, signalling that you have a soulmate somewhere in the world. Every soulmate pair has different marks from other soulmate pairs; some soulmate pair has their soulmate marks complement each other, and some soulmate pair are born with only one half (or a piece) of their soulmate mark and it will only be completed once they meet their soulmate(s) — it is possible to get more than one soulmate after all — who holds the other half (or the rest of the pieces) of their shared soulmate mark. Every soulmates' marks are unique and they belong to only you and your soulmate(s).
