Chapter Text
Yawning, Clown stood around spawn with all the others, who had agreed for a temporary truce for as long as they welcomed their new member. The person hadn’t yet joined but it would be any time now. Everyone was standing around, not in a circle since they had learned from last time where the new person got extremely overwhelmed and broke down into tears. A small ping echoed in the environment and everyone fell silent, snapping their head to the source of the sound.
There stood a man. A man with bright white fluffy hair. He had pale skin and deep purple eyes, almost intoxicating. As for his outfit, he had a purple shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a black button-up vest on top. He had simple trainers and black pants. An odd-looking device surrounded his left arm, seeming a bit too familiar to Clown. “Hiya!” The newcomer did a small wave to everyone with a wide grin plastered on his face.
That voice. That voice. There was no way, right? The demon’s heart pounded against his ribs aggressively, almost painfully. All of his body heat piled together right on his cheeks, painting them red. Fortunately, his mask hid that completely. Everyone greeted him, everyone except for Clown, who had frozen on the spot. Spotting him, the man scanned his face briefly before also stopping dead in his tracks. “Clown?” It was him.
“Branzy?” The others stood around, leaning in as they tried to understand what was going on. Branzy’s whole body lit up as soon as the name left the demon’s mouth. The purple spark danced around the white-haired man’s eyes, it made Clown’s heart trip over it’s beats but it soon resumed back to normal, acting as casual it could when being met with the love of his life after so many years.
Excitedly, Branzy ran at him and hugged him tightly, hurting him, but neither one of them cared. A few whispers emerged from beside him, and he recognized someone saying that Clown would kill the newcomer without hesitation in a few seconds, especially since he hated physical touch. But, to their surprise, the demon didn’t react, his fingers didn’t even start reaching for his weapon. “Oh my god! If you didn’t have your mask on right now I would kiss you out of happiness!” he squealed, digging his face into Clown’s shoulder.
An invisible smile crept up onto his lips, poking at him. He heard a few snickers and quiet wheezes but ignored them. Carefully, the demon wrapped his own arms around the other, making sure to do it slowly so it would go unnoticed for a bit. “So, Branzy… would you like a tour?” Parrot cleared his throat and offered awkwardly but the man just shook his head.
Simply replying with an ‘i’ll be fine, thanks’, Branzy didn’t move a single inch. The members were now starting to get suspicious by how long the embrace was lasting. “Right… Uh. You might wanna let go of that guy, not exactly the friendliest.” The avian chuckled nervously but he didn’t budge, no matter how much Parrot tried to convince him. Clown felt a tear sting at his eye and he hated not being able to wipe it but he wasn’t about to take off his mask. “Branzy…”
Someone cackled from a few blocks away, probably thinking Clown was absolutely despising this. Branzy was starting to loosen his hold, not seeming the happiest about it. “Alright…” he responded quietly and was about to turn around and go towards Parrot, but not if the demon had anything to do with it. Rushing, Clown grabbed him and pulled him back in, growling a ‘mine’ that was loud enough for everyone to hear.
He noticed multiple people gaping at him, mouths hung open. They were speechless. Hastily, the demon encased Branzy with his tail to the best of his abilities. A big smile was stuck to the white-haired man’s face as he giggled and squeezed Clown back, loving the affection. “Uhm. Clown, what the FUCK?!” Vortex exclaimed, but didn’t gain an answer from the demon, not a single sign that he even heard the shout. Hearing footsteps, he darted his gaze over to where they were coming from.
The avian was approaching them. “Let go of him.” Parrot frowned, crossing his arms along his words. Clown glanced back over at Branzy and stayed like that, watching him. Soon, the avian was starting to try pull the white-haired man out of the demon’s embrace but he wasn’t about to let that happen. Flashing his sword, Parrot took a few steps backwards in surprise, not expecting Clown to get violent. “Clown. You can’t just keep a STRANGER.”
Branzy burst out into laughter, repeating the last word with a mocking, sarcastic tone. Confused, the avian raised an eyebrow at him, tilting his head. No matter how much Parrot pleaded for an explanation, he didn’t receive one from either one of the men. A gasp filled the area and everyone eyed Spoke, who was staring at Clown’s hand, making the demon realize why he reacted why he did instantly. “They have matching RINGS. On their RING FINGERS.” Rapidly, everyone stared at them, checking to see if it was true. And, well, it was.
Branzy and Clown had decided to get real rings created after their very informal mess of a wedding, and had apparently not taken them off since. “Holy shit, are you guys married?” Reddoons laughed, amused at that fact somehow. “Someone loves Clown? Clown loves someone? Now THAT is a plot-twist.” A few people agreed breathily, still bewildered. A thought came to the demon as he eyed the enderpearl in his pocket. The whole server had just installed a new plugin, where if you were touching someone and threw a pearl, then both of you would get teleported. Having this in mind, Clown took out a singular pearl and momentarily stepped away from Branzy to throw it as far as he could in the direction of his house.
Immediately after, he gripped the white-haired man’s hand with a lot of force, not wanting to risk leaving him behind. Groaning, Parrot snarled at him. “No. Clown. You can’t just steal the new member and then run aw—…” The two both took a tick of damage but the demon handed Branzy some golden carrots, which he accepted gratefully. Dragging him along, he guided them towards his private base, where they would be able to get some peace and quiet. They strode in silence, a comfortable one at that.
Finally reaching the entrance, Clown accidentally forcefully pushed the other inside but ignored his quick yelp and locked the door. Throwing off his mask, he sped up to Branzy and pressed their faces together. They both placed their hands on eachother’s cheeks, keeping themselves in place. A small buzz filled his ears as he felt his knees grow weaker. The air in the room only grew stuffier and hotter by the minute. If he had known kissing the other would feel like this, he would have done it earlier. Feeling his own heart pound, a hint of humiliation rose inside of him but that insecurity soon faded when he realized the white-haired man was being affected in the same way.
Softly, Branzy’s hand traveled to the back of his neck, pulling him in and lightly pressing his nails into his skin, causing his heart to flinch before starting to race faster than before. More tears dripped down Clown’s face and he couldn’t prevent them anymore. Sobbing quietly, he pulled away briefly and hugged the white-haired man while he shushed him with care. “You know, I thought you wouldn’t still love me after so long.” Self-hatred boiled inside the demon when he realized that, that sounded like something Branzy would say, not him.
Yet, the other managed to come up with the perfect answer, his specialty at making Clown feel better in the matter of a few seconds. “If there is a universe that we have met in, trust me my dear, we have also loved in. Clown, as soon as I laid my eyes on you, I knew I’d never love another soul… not a single one.” Sniffing, the demon kissed him again. Branzy gently held his tail and traced a finger around the sensitive scale at the end, gaining a sharp inhale from Clown, a positive one.
Fuck, he loved him.
Leaning forward, he wanted more. He wanted to taste the other for days later, to never be able to forget him. It seemed as if Branzy had a similar goal because he matched the demon’s action. Their faces grew impossibly hot, almost feeling as if they could burn right through eachother. Heating up, he whined lowly while shifting even closer to the other. His throat scratched and tightened, begging for some oxygen but he just shut it out and dismissed it until it became almost unbearable
Disconnecting, Branzy dove down to Clown’s neck instead and nibbled softly, careful not to hurt him. Melting into the touch, the demon’s lips curved upwards, his body shaking from his emotions alone. The white-haired man moved to a different part of his neck, higher than before. The hickeys would definitely be visible over his clothes but he didn’t really care at the moment, as long as he was with his husband.
Not giving Clown any time to react, the white-haired man kissed him passionately again. They started getting out of breath much faster from the non-stop making-out but neither of them truly cared to stop just yet. They could survive a few more breathless moments. Even though they were struggling to continue, they didn’t hesitate to keep pushing on, both desperate for the other, needing the other.
When they stopped, they were immediately panting and heaving loudly, but that didn’t stop the words escaping the demon’s throat. “Branzy. Holy shit. I love you, I love you, I love you, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.” Both of them paused, shocked at Clown’s sudden outburst, knowing his usual cold and detached self. Leisurely, the white-haired man pressed their foreheads together and they relaxed into the contact.
He opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by a different voice and a knock at the door. “Clown! I need to show Branzy around!” A few more distant snickers reached his ears, and he knew Parrot wasn’t here alone. Sighing silently, he grabbed his mask and clicked it closed around his head but a thought came to his mind right when he did that. Turning to the door, he considered it but remembered that there were no consequences, so he just did it.
He shouted a ‘no’ through the door. Everything was silent for a few agonizing moments. “Fuck you mean, ‘no’?!” People hollered behind him, dying in entertainment at this sole interaction. Giving up, the demon opened the door and scoffed while making eye contact with Parrot, who’s eyes widened as he glared at Clown’s neck. Right, he didn’t think they would actually appear that fast but, oh well, nothing he could do about it now. “Oh…” The avian was genuinely caught off guard and had forgotten what he came here for, it forced a breathy chuckle from the demon.
The people behind him asked what had happened and why Parrot froze. Eventually, they managed to get around him and were also now observing Clown’s new marks with realization. It got to the point where he started to feel like a zoo attraction. Everyone’s gaze darted to the side, making the demon do the same and he noticed Branzy standing beside him, cheeks flushed red and evident hand marks on his neck. “Damn.” Mapicc glanced between them, not knowing what to say but just wanting to break the silence.
“Something wrong?” Even Clown could hear the smirk in his own voice, and he knew the others did too. Fumbling, Parrot said he would come back later and spun around, walking away, embarrassed. This alone left satisfaction pooling inside of him as he looked up to the rest of the members. “If you don’t need anything, scram.” Scrambling away, the demon waited until each one of them were gone before slamming the door closed and being pushed against it by Branzy.
