Summary
The longer he sits there choking around ice in his lungs the stronger the paranoia grows. There is some deep irrational instinct screaming at him, yelling and swearing that someone knows where he is. There is the lingering fear of an alliance coming to shatter his gem, to bleed his heart dry and steal his life for themselves. The instinct mixes with the fear, crashing and breaking, pushing panic higher and higher, adrenaline rushing through him as his mind turns against itself in pure desperation.
Mugm is in a dark room, completely alone.

But here he is, Wyll who betrayed him so many years ago, Wyll who was reduced to a villain the moment the two of them were publicly teamed, Wyll his teammate, Wyll who provided him a comfort he hadn’t felt in four months.

Summary
This was the final confrontation, Mugm would end this here no matter the face attached to the body in front of him. He needed to get back to Wyll, he had to get back to the overworld, he had a goal that needed to be completed. He didn’t sacrifice so much just to end it all here.
And then the world shattered.
Mugm grinned, teeth flashing in the dimming light, the connection was complete, the trials were complete, the golden gem was his.
The server would not rest, Lunar Eclipse would be hunted if they stayed still too long, it was time to continue on towards their goals.
