BakuDeku's Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

Summary:

Izuku and Katsuki go to the Bakugou's house for Thanksgiving dinner with their parents like they do every year. This time goes a bit different, though.

Instead of just shutting up and letting Goro do what he always does, Izuku decides to throw a big FUCK YOU at his face. Izuku can now support his mom with the money he's been making by his paintings, so there is no need for Goro to be in the picture anymore.

Oh, can't forget Izuku and Katsuki coming out to their parents after dinner as well <3

Notes:

Hello! Raven here <3

This was originally supposed to be done and posted on Thanksgiving but work decided to grace me with a surprise shift! (Fuckers...)

Work Text:

BakuDeku’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner.

Every year, it seems that people care less and less for Thanksgiving. Everything is always about Halloween and then bam! People want to get everything ready for Christmas.

Every store is now playing All I Want For Christmas and Baby, It’s Cold Outside. You don’t get this for Thanksgiving. You don’t get all these big displays and songs playing everywhere you go.

But for two families, Thanksgiving is the highlight of their year. This is the day when the Bakugou and Midoriya families get together and spend the day together. Ever since little Izuku and Katsuki were born, the two families always made sure to spend the holiday with each other.

Even when one of them couldn’t stand the other, he didn’t start any fights on Thanksgiving. He was happy to spend that day with good food and a warm atmosphere. It was his calm before the storm called life came roaring back and everything bad came back.

There was only one thing that they didn’t like on Thanksgiving. That would be Izuku’s uncle, Goro Midoriya, Inko’s older brother. The fifth man ever born from the Midoriya lineage, Izuku is the sixth.

Izuku paced his room as he mumbled to himself. Katsuki, Shouto and Eijirou all watched as Izuku paced, moving their heads back and forth like they were watching a tennis match.

“How long has he been like this?” Eijirou whispered, leaning over to Katsuki a little.

“Two hours,” Shouto and Katsuki said at the same time. Katsuki decided it was finally time to calm his anxious boyfriend before they’d be late or Izuku would work himself into being determined in not going.

“Izuku, can you calm down for me?” Katsuki asked as he gently grabbed Izuku’s arm and slowly pulled him into his chest, wrapping his arms around Izuku’s neck.

Katsuki at 6 '4, 193.04cm, and Izuku at 6' 0, 182cm, Izuku was right at the perfect spot for Katsuki’s arms to wrap around his shoulders and neck, holding Izuku’s face into his chest. Just another reason they were so perfect for each other.

Izuku stopped his pacing as he melted into Katsuki’s arms, sighing as he hugged him back. “I’m just scared they won’t accept us, or like that we’re together. I don’t know what I’d do, Kacchan,” Izuku said, feeling tears form in his eyes as he looked up at Katsuki.

Katsuki frowned at the sight of tears in his boyfriend's eyes. He hated seeing those on his boyfriend when they weren’t because he was making him feel good. It left a bad feeling in his stomach and he just wanted to take Izuku away and never let him get hurt again.

“Zu, I’m pretty sure they have a cash bet on when we’re gonna get together. Throughout our entire lives, it’s always been us. We know that and they know that. There’s no way that they won’t accept us and our relationship,” Katsuki said, cupping his boyfriend’s face as he talked.

Izuku looked up at Katsuki like he was his entire world. If you asked him, I have no doubt he’d deny that Katsuki is his entire world. Katsuki’s right. It’s always been them. Them against the world and all that.

“You’re right. Of course they’re gonna be okay with us,” Izuku said smiling. Katsuki smiled as he cleaned up Izuku’s face before leaning down and giving him a kiss. “Oh, my god. Am I gonna get the shovel talk from Ma and Pa?” Izuku asked, pulling away from Katsuki’s arms as he looked scared.

Shouto, Eijirou and Katsuki all chuckled as Izuku looked at them all with wide eyes.

“This is serious! I love them with everything but oh, my god! Ma and Pa are scary as fuck when they want to be! I don’t want to see that today!” Izuku exclaimed, getting out of Katsuki’s grasp fully.

“Izu, if anything, I think Mitsuki and Masaru will be telling Kats to not break your heart or else. I don’t think anyone in this world thinks you’d be able to break Kats’ heart,” Eijirou said, laughing as Katsuki glared at him.

“You saying people think I would break his heart instead?” Katsuki challenged. Eijirou smirked before standing up.

“You saying you think you could?” Eijirou asked, standing chest to chest with Katsuki. Katsuki growled and was about to push Eijirou away with his chest before Izuku grabbed him by the hair and pulled him down.

Katsuki fell to one knee as he was forcibly looking up at curly, green hair. Izuku’s face came into view. His eyes were sharp and seemed to glow green but the smile on his face was one he wore every day.

“You even think about breaking my heart and you won’t see the living light of day again. Don’t forget I know every single one of your weaknesses, your fears, your wants. I know everything about you, Katsuki Bakugou. Don’t forget that,” Izuku said, smiling sickly sweet the entire time.

Izuku let go of Katsuki and helped him to stand back up when he finished talking, a smile on his face the entire time. Shouto, Eijirou and Katsuki all felt the blood drain from their faces, true fear chilling their bones.

“I, ummm, yes baby,” Katsuki stuttered out, completely scared for his life. Izuku giggled before leaning up and kissing Katsuki.

“You’re too cute. Anyway!” Izuku exclaimed, clapping his hands and successfully making all three of the boys jump a little. “Are you two going to see Eijirou’s parents again this year?” Izuku asked, looking at Shouto and Eijirou. Shouto nodded.

“Yup. We’re having dinner at Ei’s place. This year my mom will be joining us, though, as well as Touya and Fuyumi,” Shouto said. This made Katsuki and Izuku do a double take.

“They’re letting your brother go?” Katsuki asked. Shouto nodded. “Damn, good for him. When did he get out of the mental hospital?” Katsuki asked.

“About three weeks ago. Ei and I go over to my mom’s every weekend to spend time with him and mom. Touya is doing a lot better. He’s still an ass and I want to fight him every hour but it’s actually starting to become fun. You know he’s messing with you, that’s just his love language, I suppose,” Shouto said, smiling the entire time. Everyone else nodded and smiled.

“Yeah, and Keigo has been around as well. He and Touya get into it a lot, sometimes getting physical, but just spray them with water and they separate, haha. Rei banned us from playing Uno and Monopoly in the house, though,” Eijirou said, disappointed. Izuku cackled and Katsuki huffed and stubbornly looked to his right, away from everyone else.

“Uno, Monopoly, Mario Kart, and Minecraft are banned in both of our houses. Katsuki screamed and broke too many controllers, and he also tackled me one too many times and broke Ma’s expensive coffee table once,” Izuku explained, petting Katsuki’s arm as Katsuki got more and more huffy.

“Stupid fucking games. I swear you’re cheating but I can’t prove shit,” Katsuki grumbled, his arms crossed. “Anyway, I would love to stay and chat all about my issues, but we’re gonna be late if we don’t leave now, Zu.” Izuku’s eyes widened and he sped to grab everything he needed. Keys, wallet, phone, charger. We’re good.

“Okay, I’m ready!” Izuku said, jumping up and smiling. Katsuki nodded and grabbed his things. Shouto stood up and grabbed his phone before walking out the door, Eijirou behind him.

“Will you guys be back here tonight?” Eijirou asked. Katsuki nodded.

“It’ll most likely be past midnight when we get back but yeah, we’re not staying the night tonight. Tomorrow we’re gonna have dinner and stay the night at Shouta’s place with Hito, Eri and Yamada,” Katsuki said. Shouto nodded and smiled.

“I’m glad you’re able to split the holidays between your parents. I would punch Endeavor in the face if he even suggested I spend any time during the holidays with him. He can go fuck another groupie,” Shouto said, glaring at the wall near the end. Izuku barked out a laugh and brought Shouto into a hug.

“I love that you always call him by his stage name. It’s just so funny to me, and well deserved. Your family, especially Touya, didn't deserve what that man did to any of you,” Izuku said, smiling softly as they let go of each other.

“It’s slowly getting better. I’m just glad he’s no longer trying to contact me in any way he can. Besides,” Shouto said, smiling warmly at Eijirou. “Ei’s moms have made me feel nothing but welcome and loved and I’m happy to say I consider them family as well.” Eijirou teared up at that with the biggest smile on his face.

“They love you too, Sho. They don’t stop gushing about you after every time we see them. They consider you a second son at this point,” Eijirou said, smiling.

“That’s good to hear. Alright, I don’t want you two to be late,” Shouto turned towards Izuku and Katsuki. “Tell your parents I said hi, I would love to see them soon if that’s alright.” Izuku nodded.

“Of course, we’ll talk to them about it today,” Izuku said. Shouto nodded.

“Alright. Oh, and tell that piece of shit to mind his damn business for me. Can’t stand him,” Shouto grumbled, glaring once again. Izuku and Katsuki both laughed as they nodded.

“Believe me, I bet he’ll be trying to kick us out of Ma’s house when we tell them all we’re together,” Izuku cackled. Shouto laughed.

“Okay, okay, go before you’re late!” Eijirou exclaimed, pushing the two towards the elevators. The two said goodbye as the elevator doors closed and Shouto and Eijirou went into Shouto’s room.

“Ah! Nope! I’m driving, nerd!” Katsuki exclaimed, snatching the keys from Izuku before he could get into the driver’s seat. Izuku huffed and rolled his eyes.

“I didn’t even cause that last accident!” Izuku yelled.

“No chances!” Katsuki exclaimed, quickly getting into the driver’s seat while Izuku went to the other side.

“This is unbelievable! I’m not that bad of a driver!” Izuku huffed, crossing his arms. Katsuki started to squish his body towards the door as he looked out the window at the sky. Izuku noticed him trying to get as much distance as he could before laughing. “What the hell are you doing?” Izuku asked.

“The gods are about to smite you and I don’t want to get hit too. I’m not try’na be collateral damage!” Katsuki exclaimed, keeping the act up. Izuku’s mouth hung open as he stared at Katsuki. He could not believe his boyfriend at the moment.

“You’re freaking ridiculous,” Izuku said, huffing a laugh as he rolled his eyes. Katsuki laughed as he started the car and pulled out of the spot.

An hour passed with traffic the whole way, but the boys made it safely to the Bakugou residence. The place hadn’t changed much since the teens’ first year. There is a new door after someone broke in and stole a few things, and there is now a fence bordering the front lawn. Other than a few flowers that were planted, nothing else was changed.

There was a spot left in the drive-way and Katsuki took it, knowing his mom was gonna be pissed when she came back from wherever she was with her car.

“Kacchan,” Izuku sighed. He shook his head as he got out of the car, listening to his boyfriend’s evil laughter. Nothing else had to be said, they’d just have to wait for the inevitable to happen later on.

“This is gonna be a fun day, oh my god,” Katsuki laughed as he knocked on the door. A small, excited scream was heard from outside the door and both boys smiled at each other, knowing exactly who did that.

Inko opened the door and screamed again, pulling both boys into a bone-crushing hug. Izuku and Katsuki both huffed out as the air was pushed out of them by Inko’s hug. She may be small but damn, she is strong when it comes to hugs. There’s no way of getting out of them until she lets you go.

“Hi Mom, I missed you,” Izuku said, hugging his mother back.

“Hey Mama, how have you been?” Katsuki asked as he wrapped an arm around the woman. Inko teared up as she let them go but grabbed both of their hands.

“I’m so glad you two are friends again. It’s so nice to see you both getting here together, I love you both so much,” Inko cried, wiping at her eyes. Katsuki smiled softly as he pulled Inko into a hug of his own, letting her soak his shirt a little.

“We both had issues with each other, but I’m glad we worked it out as well. Now we’re better than ever and I love it,” Izuku smiled. Inko nodded and let go of Katsuki, wiping her tears away.

“Come in, boys. Masaru is cooking and Goro is watching tv in the living room. Masaru ran out of potatoes so Mits ran to the store really quick to get some more. Katsuki? Don’t think I didn’t see that car in Mits’ spot,” Inko giggled, covering her mouth. “She’s gonna be so mad.”

Katsuki and Inko both cackled as they leaned into each other’s space, holding their hands like they were some evil villains that just conjured up the perfect, evil plan. Where were the rotating chairs and cats for them to pet?

“Boys! I missed you two!” Masaru exclaimed, coming into the small hallway. He was wearing his infamous “Kiss the cook!” apron that Katsuki absolutely despised. Ever since that one year where every time Mitsuki saw the apron, she’d give Masaru a kiss, Katsuki couldn’t stand to look at it.

“Oh- come on, pops! Why’d you have to wear that today?” Katsuki complained, dragging his hand down his face as Izuku laughed.

“I am so buying you one of those when we get out of high school,” Izuku laughed. Katsuki swiped at his head. Izuku dodged and took off to give Masaru a hug before Katsuki could catch him.

“How are you, Izuku?” Masaru asked, squeezing Izuku. Izuku laughed and squeezed back.

“I’m doing great, I couldn’t be happier right now,” Izuku answered, smiling big down at Masaru.

“Have you both gotten taller? I swear, I’m starting to feel jealous,” Masaru laughed, letting go of Izuku to look at Izuku and Katsuki’s heights.

“I grew another inch since the last time we saw each other but my teacher said that I’m done growing,” Izuku laughed. Masaru straightened up and used his hand to see where his head stopped.

"I'm at the base of your neck, now. Stop growing!" Masaru exclaimed. "I've already accepted I'm gonna be at Katsuki's chest for the rest of my life, now I gotta accept you'll be taller than me too!" Izuku laughed and pulled Masaru into another hug.

"Ahh," Izuku sighed. "I missed you guys. My dad says hi as well," Izuku whispered the last part into Masaru's ear. Masaru nodded and smiled.

"How is he doing? I haven't seen him in a while," Masaru whispered.

"He's doing great. Him and Yamada invited us for dinner tomorrow. Oh, Eri also says she wants to give you something next time you see each other," Izuku whispered. Masaru smiled.

"Ahh," Masaru sighed. "I miss her. She was the cutest." Izuku nodded frantically.

"She's so grown up now and I don't know how to feel about that," Izuku laughed. Masaru laughed too and the two let go of the hug.

"What are you two whispering about?" Inko asked, putting Katsuki's jacket on the coat rack.

"Nothing of importance," Izuku smiled before letting Masaru lead him further into the house. Goro was sitting on the couch, his feet on the coffee table, watching whatever sport was on the TV.

"Ahh!" Goro exclaimed. "There's the two UA students! How are you guys?" Izuku and Katsuki shared a look, already tired of his shit. Before UA, Goro barely paid them any attention. But once UA came into play, they were his favorite boys in the world. Pathetic.

"We're fine," Izuku said as he decided to just walk into the kitchen with Masaru, Katsuki following him.

“He’s been so rude the entire time he’s been here,” Masaru whispered to Izuku and Katsuki, making sure Inko and Goro didn't hear him. Izuku nodded and frowned.

“Well, today will be interesting then. I just wish mom wouldn’t invite him around anymore but… I get it. I just wish I could help her instead of him,” Izuku grumbled, not happy about his mother’s situation. He hated that he had power over her.

“Oh, Goro, could you put your feet down, please?” The three in the kitchen heard Inko ask. They also heard the big huff Goro gave. And they definitely heard:

“Shut it, Inko. I can do what I damn well please,” Goro said, now glaring at the tv. Izuku’s eyes hardened, his sight set on the opening of the kitchen into the living room. They heard Inko stutter out an apology before leaving Goro alone.

“That fucker…” Katsuki muttered, glaring at the living room. “Izu, go get your mom. Dad, need help with the food?” Katsuki asked. Those two started talking about the food while Izuku went out to get his mom from wherever she went. He didn’t have to look for long.

Inko was in the backyard, watering the flowers by the door. Something that she does when she’s feeling down. Ever since Izuku was a kid, he knew the one thing that Inko liked to do when upset is tend to her garden.

“Hey Mom, you okay?” Izuku asked. Inko looked up with a sad smile on her face. Izuku smiled back and grabbed the extra watering can off the table before walking over and watering the flowers next to his mom.

“I’m sorry if I’m making you worried. I’m okay,” Inko said, the sad smile still on her face. Izuku frowned but nodded. “I just wish he would be nicer. I know you guys don’t like him but you know I have to invite him…” Inko muttered.

“Hey, it’s alright Mom. One day I’ll be able to make enough to help you out so you don’t have to go to him anymore. I hate that he uses his power over you like he does, it’s disgusting,” Izuku said. “Just remember that there are other options besides going to him for money. There are plenty of resources we can look into to see what’s good. And remember that Ma and Pa also said you could take Kacchan’s old room.”

“I know that, I just don’t want to invade their space. They are doing well and have built a beautiful home. I don’t want to come in and mess that up for them,” Inko said. Izuku smiled softly and grabbed his mom’s arm.

“We both know that they would love to have you. You would not be invading their space. If anything, you’d be bringing more life to the house,” Izuku countered. Inko smiled back and nodded, knowing her son was right. Her anxiety was just getting in the way.

“He’s right, you know.” Inko and Izuku looked up to see Mitsuki standing in the doorway, a smile on her face.

“Ma!” Izuku exclaimed, rushing over to give her a hug. He put the watering can down on the table and pulled Mitsuki off of the stairs into a bone crushing hug. Mitsuki laughed and hugged him back just as hard.

“Glad you’re back, Mitsuki,” Inko smiled. She put her watering can down and walked over to the two. Izuku put Mitsuki down on the ground and let the two women hug.

“I was only gone thirty minutes, Inko,” Mitsuki laughed. Inko giggled and shrugged her shoulders. “But, really. We would love for you to live with us if you’d like. We’re all getting old and need each other to help each other out, y’know?” Inko nodded and smiled.

“Maybe we can talk about it tomorrow? Right now, I’m hungry,” Inko laughed. The other two laughed as well and they all went inside. They walked past Goro, not caring that he was grumbling that they were in the way of the tv, and walked into the kitchen to see Masaru trying not to laugh while Katsuki had flour all over his head and the top of his shirt.

“Oh, pfft-” Izuku choked. “What happened here?” Izuku asked. Katsuki looked over and narrowed his eyes.

“Ask your dad,” Katsuki deadpanned. Mitsuki cackled as she held her stomach.

“He didn’t call you his dad, Masaru,” Mitsuki laughed. “Oh, he called you Izuku’s dad, ah! That’s priceless!” Masaru pouted as he put the bag of flour down on the counter. Izuku giggled while Katsuki looked at his dad and sighed.

“Was gonna help him with the food but he fought me on it, so I grabbed the bag of flour to help and then he decided to try and take it from me. But hell no did I let him take it from me, so the top ended up ripping and flour went all over. Somehow, not a smidge of flour got on him, but it all got on me. Funny, huh?” Katsuki deadpanned, staring Masaru in the eyes with a blank stare. Masaru pouted harder and hid behind Mitsuki.

“I said sorry,” Masaru said. Mitsuki kept on cackling while the others laughed. Katsuki was the only one not laughing but a smirk took over his face as an idea came to his mind.

“It’s alright Pops, I don’t mind,” Katsuki said, smiling softly. Masaru’s eyes brightened and he came out from behind Mitsuki.

“Really?” Masaru asked. Izuku knew Katsuki was about to do something and he did not want to be in the middle when it happened. Inko and Mitsuki could also sense that Katsuki had something up his sleeve and they, too, decided to take a few steps back from the two.

“Of course. I don’t say shit I don’t mean, remember? Plus, it’s just flour, I can wash it out in a minute. No biggie,” Katsuki said, stepping closer to Masaru. Masaru smiled and nodded.

“Yeah, that’s true. It’s just flour,” Masaru said. Katsuki nodded and stopped right in front of his dad, his smirk bigger than ever. Masaru looked up at him and when he finally noticed the smirk on his son’s face, he looked at him confused.

“Oh, Honey… you shouldn’t have let him get close to you,” Mitsuki giggled, holding Inko’s arm as Masaru started to turn around.

“What do you me- Augh!” Masaru exclaimed, throwing his arms up. Katsuki had tackled his dad in a hug, rubbing his hair all over his dad’s face and clothes. The flour spilled all over and got rubbed into Masaru’s shirt, showing bright against his black shirt. “Katsuki!”

Katsuki cackled as he lifted his head but kept hugging his dad. Izuku and their mothers all laughed and smiled. Inko left to get the cleaning supplies while Izuku and Mitsuki took the two flour covered boys to different bathrooms for a quick shower.

Goro yelled about being hungry and not liking that the food wasn’t ready but Mitsuki yelled at him to shut up or get out. In the end, Goro stayed on the couch and continued to watch the tv.

“Okay! Now that that’s all over and done with, we can eat now!” Mitsuki exclaimed, clapping her hands as she sat down at the table. The table was filled with all kinds of different food, traditional and non-traditional. The smell was heavenly.

“The smell is amazing. Good job Pa,” Izuku said, licking his lips as he looked over the table at all the food. Katsuki hummed in agreement as he reached over the table for the mashed potatoes.

Mituski and Izuku both reached over and slapped his hand, making Katsuki yelp and snatch his hand to his chest, cradling it like it’s the most fragile thing in the world. “What the hell?” Katsuki exclaimed, rubbing his, now red, hand.

“Rude, Kacchan!” Izuku scolded, glaring at Katsuki momentarily. Mitsuki laughed as she took a sip of her drink. Masaru joined them at the table with a drink and smiled.

“It’s alright, Izuku. We already know how he is,” Masaru chuckled. Katsuki exclaimed in protest but quieted down when Izuku grabbed his hand under the table, making sure no one could see. Inko was the last person to join them at the table and they smiled as she sat down.

“I just brought you guys home over five-thousand from my last race, a little appreciation would be lovely,” Katsuki smiled smugly, nodding. Izuku rolled his eyes and sat back in his chair.

“Who was the one complaining right before the race because his tummy hurt?” Izuku mocked, using a kid’s voice at the end. Katsuki flushed and whipped his head to Izuku.

“Hey! Who was the one having a breakdown because you couldn’t get the right shade of paint for your newest painting?” Katsuki countered. Izuku stared at him with a bored expression.

“The painting that just sold for over twenty-thousand?” Izuku asked, smirking at the gasps that were heard from around the table. Katsuki huffed and rolled his eyes, leaning back in chair.

“Fuckin’ show off,” Katsuki muttered. Izuku cackled and lightly patted Katsuki’s cheek.

“Sorry, Kacchan. You started it,” Izuku laughed.

“It really sold for over twenty?” Inko asked. Izuku smiled and nodded.

“Mhmm, I’ll be getting the money on Monday,” Izuku explained. Inko, Mitsuki and Masaru said their congratulations and Izuku thanked them.

“So, you gonna share any of that money with your favorite uncle?” Goro asked, smirking as he laid his chin on his hand. Izuku smiled with a grimace on his face.

“No,” Izuku answered before taking a sip of his drink. Goro glared and cleared his throat, sitting up in his seat.

“You’re too young to be handling that much money. And anyway, you should be helping out your family when you can. Just look at me with your mom. I help her with her bills since she can’t afford them. I don’t get anything in return. Why can’t you do the same? Pay back some of the money I’ve given so you and your mom could continue living in that apartment,” Goro said. Izuku’s gaze hardened as he set his drink down.

“I will do whatever the hell I want with my own money. You have no power over me. You barely have any power over my mom, and that is going to soon change,” Izuku said before turning his attention back over to the others. “Anyway, how have things been here?” Mitsuki perked up and smiled.

“Well, if we’re gonna go around saying our recent accomplishments in life; I just got signed to do a shoot in Paris in a few weeks. Inko and Masaru are going with me,” Mitsuki said. Izuku gasped as leaned forward in his seat.

“Oh, my god! Paris? That’s so exciting! You’re gonna have to tell me all about it when you guys get back! I wanna hear everything!” Izuku exclaimed.

“What’s so good about Paris? It’s just a small, nobody city,” Goro rolled his eyes, getting mad when no one paid him any attention.

“Be prepared for a few hour talk when we get back. I’ll be explaining everything to you guys! I can’t wait!” Mitsuki exclaimed, laughing with Izuku. Izuku nodded and smiled wide.

“Ah, you’re literally living my dream! I hope one day I could have an art exhibit in Paris,” Izuku sighed, smiling at the idea.

“Alright, are we ready to eat?” Masaru asked. Everyone but Goro nodded. He just grumbled like a toddler.

“Yes, that’s what I’ve been waiting for!” Katsuki exclaimed as he reached for the mashed potatoes again but stopped when Mitsuki grabbed the bowl before him. “Hey!”

“Pay back for taking my spot on the driveway, bitch,” Mitsuki laughed, spooning mashed potatoes on her plate. Katsuki groaned as he let his head fall on the table. Masaru, Izuku and Inko all laughed. They were wondering when that was gonna get brought up.

Dinner was amazing as always and everyone was stuffed. Clean up could wait for later when they were all too tired to move.

“So, you boys have any other plans for the holiday?” Inko asked. Katsuki nodded while Izuku hummed.

“We’re gonna have dinner with some friends tomorrow and then we’re gonna spend the rest of the break together. Finally let ourselves get a break and shit,” Katsuki muttered, letting his eyes close as he leaned his head back.

“That’s wonderful, tell them I said hi, okay?” Inko asked. Izuku smiled and nodded, giving Katsuki a look. No way were they going to tell the Aizawa family that Inko said hi. Though, if she knew it was them, she wouldn’t be saying that at all, heh.

“Ah, we have an announcement to say before we leave soon. It’s getting late, the cut off time is in two hours,” Katsuki said, sitting up straighter in his seat. The three parents all looked over at them while Goro did whatever he was doing on his phone.

“What’s up? None of you are dying, right?” Mitsuki joked. Inko gasped and held her hand to her mouth.

“Mitsuki!” Inko exclaimed, lightly smacking her arm. Mitsuki chuckled and settled down in her seat. Masaru shook his head softly.

“Alright, alright. What is it, boys?” Mitsuki asked, turning her attention to the two in front of her. Izuku breathed heavily as he stared at their parents, suddenly not feeling ready to tell them. But it was literally now or never. Him and Katsuki both knew if Izuku couldn’t do it tonight, he’d never be ready to tell them any time soon. And fuck no, Katsuki does not want to sneak around his parents.

“Umm,” Izuku muttered, biting his fingertip. His eyes went over the three before they settled on Katsuki, silently pleading him to tell them instead. Katsuki huffed a breath out but chuckled silently, smiling at Izuku before looking at his parents.

“Izuku and I are dating. Have been for two months now,” Katsuku announced. The two boys held their breaths as the others stilled, waiting for their reactions. They didn’t come right away, a few seconds passed before someone finally did something.

“Masaru, you owe me that new phone,” Inko said, smiling slowly. Masaru sighed as Mitsuki cackled, high fiving Inko. Inko giggled. The boys looked at them with their mouths open. Katsuki recovered before Izuku and laughed.

“I was so close. I thought they had a cash bet,” Katsuki cackled. Izuku shook his head out of his stupor and looked around at the others.

“Huh?” Izuku asked, still slightly out of it. Katsuki smiled as he pulled Izuku’s head towards him, kissing him on the top of his head.

“I told you they wouldn’t have a problem. Everything is okay, Izu,” Katsuki said, smiling. Izuku looked at everyone again before smiling big.

“I’m glad,” Izuku said, closing his eyes as he smiled. Everyone smiled back at him and they all laughed. Just one person in the room wasn’t happy about this news.

“The fuck do you mean, you’re dating? No way my nephew is one of those freaks!” Goro exclaimed, hitting his hand against the table. The others all looked over, not happy expressions on their faces.

“You break my table at all, I’ll make sure you pay me back every cent I spent on it,” Mitsuki threatened, glaring. Goro didn’t pay her any attention and waved her off, which pissed her off even more.

“I will not accept this! This is disgusting!” Goro yelled, getting red in the face. “Being gay is disgusting! You’re okay with your son being a fag?” Goro exclaimed, glaring at Inko. Inko started to speak but Goro didn’t let her.

“This is fucking hilarious! How could you support this?” Goro asked, getting louder. “You two are not gay! I will not accept it! I refuse to be blood-related to a freak!” Goro yelled. Izuku’s eyes stared hard, calculating Goro’s every move. Katsuki sat back in his chair, looking like he didn’t care less for his outburst.

“Can you shut the fuck up?” Izuku asked. “I could not give less of a shit for your shit opinion. Your opinion has not mattered to me since I was ten. I haven’t considered you family since I was eleven. The only reason you are even invited to these dinners is because my mother invites you from the kindness of her heart.” Izuku sighed, looking at his mom with a small smile before looking back at Goro with disinterest.

“Right now, you’re acting like a spoiled brat. Actually, scratch that. Your entire life you’ve been acting like a spoiled brat. My mother doesn’t owe you shit just because you pay her some money so she can pay her bills. I’d say that’s compensation for all the years she had to raise you, despite her being younger than you. Which is, honestly? Pathetic,” Izuku said. Goro’s nose flared, his eyes wide.

“Five years older than her but for most of her childhood, she was the one cooking and cleaning up after her older brother… that’s fucking sad,” Katsuki muttered. Goro heard, which was the point, and he growled, hitting his fist against the table.

“She’s a woman! That’s her job!” Goro yelled, once again hitting his fist against the table. Izuku laughed and took a sip of his drink.

“You can yell and hit your hand against the table all you want. You are a shit human being and no one in this room respects you. Knowing you, you’re gonna argue that my mom respects you. She doesn’t. She fears you. Fear and respect are two different things and it’s high time you learn the real world,” Izuku said, looking bored. “Again, I do not give a flying fuck what you think of me, but you better watch how you talk to my mother. Remember who’s the smallest man in the room and come back to me,” Izuku said, turning his attention away from Goro and back to the others with a smile.

The others turned back to each other as well and Mitsuki started talking, saying she was proud of the boys telling them they were together. This angered Goro and he stood up, making the chair screech back and knock over, crashing to the floor.

“You’re paying for that chair, and new flooring if you scratched it,” Mitsuki said, not even moving her head to look at Goro. Goro glared and huffed.

“You failed as a mother, Inko,” Goro said. A second barely passed before Izuku, Katsuki, Mitsuki and Masaru were out of their seats. Izuku and Katsuki both grabbed Goro by the front of his shirt, glaring down at him.

“What the hell did I just tell you,” Izuku said, his eyes dark as he stared at the smaller man. Goro gulped but tried to keep his pride up.

“I only told the truth. Her accepting you as this bullshit is disgusting and she failed at raising you if you think it’s okay to be one of them,” Goro said, glaring. Izuku smirked and grabbed Katsuki’s wrist, making him let go of the shirt.

Katsuki let go and took a step back, knowing what Izuku was going to do and, honestly, he was completely okay with it. Izuku smiled as he let go of Goro’s shirt and straightened it with his hands. He smiled the entire time as he made the man look more presentable.

He also smiled as he grabbed Goro by the back of his neck and lifted him into the air, walking towards the front door. Goro struggled in his hold, kicking his feet and trying to yell but he was getting choked by Izuku’s hand.

Izuku walked to the door, opened it and threw the shorter man out the door. Goro crashed into the stairs, yelling and groaning as he continued going down. Izuku looked satisfied at the pile of dog shit at the bottom of the stairs.

“I ever see you again, you won’t make it another day. If I even hear that you came near any of them, or tried to contact my mother and the others, I’ll have police on your ass in minutes. Don’t forget those words, Bitch,” Izuku said before shutting the door and turning around. He looked towards the table and saw Inko looking sad while Mitsuki sat next to her, hugging her.

Katsuki and Masaru were both looking at Izuku. Both proud of Izuku but also concerned for how he was doing. Izuku smiled at them before making his way to his mother. He sat down and brought her into a hug, letting her sigh into his shoulder.

“You don’t need to go to him for money anymore, Mom. With the way my paintings are selling lately, I’ll be able to help support you now. And please talk to them about living here with them. I’d feel much better if you were here than in that apartment alone, knowing that Bitch has a key,” Izuku said, smiling softly down at his mom. Inko nodded and leaned back out of the hug, wiping at her eyes. “You didn’t fail at raising me, or Kacchan. You were always a great mother, I wouldn’t ask for anyone else to have raised me.”

Inko blinked as tears welled up in her eyes. She grabbed his shirt and pulled him into another hug, her tears wetting his shirt. Izuku smiled as he hugged his mom, letting her cry all she wanted.

The time to leave came and the two boys shared goodbye’s with their parents. Smiles on everyone’s faces. They all had fun and couldn’t wait until the next time they saw each other.

Katsuki and Izuku made it back to the dorms with minutes to spare until the cutoff. Aizawa met them at the doors to let them in and walked them to the dorms, asking about their night.

Soon, the two were in Izuku’s room, laying on the bed as a random movie played. They were paying more attention to each other than the movie at this point. It’s okay, though. They only put the movie on to help them fall asleep.

“So, how are you feeling?” Katsuki asked, running his hand from Izuku’s bottom lip to his chin and back up. Izuku nuzzled into his hand, sighing in content.

“‘M okay. I feel really good. I’m glad everything worked out in the end,” Izuku muttered, closing his eyes. Katsuki smiled and leaned forward to kiss Izuku’s forehead.

“Me too. You looked sexy as fuck when you dragged that bastard out of the house. Good boy, Baby,” Katsuki kissed him on the head. “Protecting your family like that. Such a good boy. And then you comforted your mom as she cried? Mmm… my good boy.” Izuku’s eyes snapped open, a dark blush coloring his face quickly. Katsuki smiled smugly, knowing just how much it affected the shorter man.

“Hmm,” Katsuki hummed. He could feel Izuku getting hard against his thigh, the whine and the heavy breathing was also a big giveaway. “Are you okay, Izu~ ku~? Do you need something?” Izuku whined again, higher pitched and sounding needier this time. Katsuki smirked.

“I need you,” Izuku said, looking up at Katsuki with nothing but need and love in his eyes. Katsuki leaned forward to press a kiss against his head before pulling himself up on his elbows, staring down at the man below him.

“Guess I’m getting two desserts tonight.”
