Genshin Oneshot Advent Calendar 2023

Another round of Genshin one-shots during advent, this year in the form of letters. Each day, there will be a new letter sent from one character to another.

Mostly fluff, some angst in like a very few of them. Some ships, some ambiguous types of relationship, some family dynamics, some friendship, a mix of everything really.

(Tags are sorted alphabetically to inform without spoiling the surprise. Also, pairings with both / and & can be read either way)

Chapter 1: Furina -> The people of Fontaine

My dear subjects,

I, your beloved Archon, Lady Furina, wish all of you a merry Christmas! On this occasion, I want to remind all of you about the newly passed laws concerning this holiday.

One, it is forbidden to use figurines of me as Christmas tree decoration.

Two, broken glass ornaments are not to be thrown into the ocean.

Three, to prevent housefires, it is forbidden to move quickly (this includes jumping, dancing, and running) in close proximity to a Christmas tree.

Four, entry to the Christmas performances in the Opera Epiclese can only be granted to those with a ticket. Tickets can be acquired by opening the chests hidden all around the Court of Fontaine and the Opera itself by the Fontaine branch of the Adventurers' Guild. (One ticket per person, reselling prohibited.)

Five, the fairylights may not be removed from the Gardemeks patrolling the city.

Follow those rules, my dear citizens, and you won't have to celebrate Christmas in the Fortress of Meropide.
