“It’s like an oasis.”
The ruler of Dreamlight Valley hadn ’t been lying—the valley certainly proved a dream come true, with the most familiar comparison being a desert oasis. Yet, there was obviously no oasis there in the Valley, at least not at first sight, as a quick turn of Jasmine’s head indicated a rusty tan color that might be a dessert of some kind.
Flowers were everywhere, and the buildings, although not familiar to the princess of Agrabah, were quaint; then she did a double take; for a while, they weren ’t a familiar sight in Agrabah, but there was the feeling she did indeed know the buildings, in the same way, she did know the valley.
She turned her head, taking things in when she saw a young woman with brown hair in a blue dress reading a book and decided to approach. “Hello. You seem like a familiar face. I’m Jasmine.”
“Oh,” the young woman said. “I’m Belle. You were in my book club?”
“Book club?”
“Oh, yes. We used to share and discuss the books we borrowed from Merlin’s library,” Belle said. “There were a few others in the club.” And then she said, “Welcome back to the valley.”
“Thank you,” Jasmine said.
