Chapter Text

A gurgled choke was heard for a millisecond in a quiet town positioned by a lake, said town was filled with dressed up people of some sort, some wielding weapons literally made of gold.

"Whats going-" One ran around the corner to the soruce of the sound, staggering to a halt seeing their comrade vanishing into blue cubes that similarly vanished moments later.

Their head whipped up to see nothing left in the alleyway, their hand slowly reaching to the radio attatched to their belt.

Yet they weren't quick enough.

"Night Night" They spun around just to get slammed by the blunt end of a gun and shot a second later.

The assailant chuckled shoving another mag in forcefully, "These 'troops' aren't that troopy" a sigh left their uncovered nose, "Oh well" They whistled loudly, vanishing a second later, appearing on the roof of a building perched on the outskirts of the town.

"Your getting better at that" They ripped the mask off, white hair flicking out and onto their back, "I know" A dark blue haired and blue skinned alien slipping to stand next to them, two horns perched on its head, buzzing with electricity.

"Did you find anything on them?" It asked, the previously masked person shook their head, "Not a thing Hunji, all there was were fancy guns" They gagged, "Gross weirdos" Hunjirs ears wiggled in a small scent of humor.

His horns buzzed moments later making his head shoot to look at a convoy of vehicles leaving the town, "Ash, over there" He nudged his head at them, Ash patted a pouch on her side, a miniature deer hopped out a quick second later and to her shoulder.

"Convoy of vehicles" It beeped, "Their route is going towards the mansion at the very edge of the Island" Ash nodded slowly reaching for the blue and red rifle perched on her back, "Pebble ping for a little backup, we're going to need an interception"

"Ugh" A troop grumbled half leaning out of the window, "Deliver this deliver that" He grumbled, the driver glanced at him, "Come on its not that bad" The other groaned again still leaning from the window.

"What did the bosses do again?" The one driving questioned, not taking their eyes off the road, "I dunno" the other said as he slumped back into the passenger seat, "Stole a banana or something I don't know" The other chuckled.

"Well thanks for telling me that" Their voice suddenly went more feminine making the trooper freeze, "Uh what are-" He yelped when he was punched out of the window and to the hill below.

The other laughed, white hair tied up in a bun and a purple like suit appearing, "Troops are always the least intelligent of the group" She reached into her pocket pulling out a USB, slamming it into a port next to the radio.

"This is Torin, I've got the precious cargo" She turned the car into a drift causing the rest of the convoy to skid to a stop, one of the drivers got out but was promptly knocked out by a slam into the door.

"You really like that disguise don't you" Ronin asked her as she stepped out of the car, raising a pistol strapped to her belt, "As i do" Her arm stretched out shooting dead a charging troop.

Ronins head lifted slightly upon hearing a screech, "About time" They both ducked when the nearest troops were picked up by a giant bat, "She likes to take her time doesn't she?" Torin said to him, He shrugged sheathing his sword back into its pouch.

They both watched as the distant shapes of troops were dropped into the lake nearby before the bat slammed onto the ground with a snort.

At first nobody got off, until a woman with short orange hair shimmered in seemingly from nowhere, "Your getting better at your stealth game Jade" Torin smiled at the redhead who gave a brief one back, "Thanks! Sanctum wanted to give a" She raised her fingers, "Fly by"

Ronin chuckled under his mask, "Fly by it was" His gaze went to the ruined convoy, "I suppose we best start moving this back to our base of operations" Jade perked up and followed his gaze, "Oh! yea good point" She turned to Sanctum, the giant banshee like bat chirping, "Want to give us a hand?" He screeched and took off with a few heavy flaps into the air.

Torin rolled her eyes as she made her way to the trucks, "He's really going to get us killed with all those loud screeches he makes"

Ash stretched as the elevator doors swung open with a clang, leading to a large room with papers scattered everywhere and junk littered in the corner of said room, Hunjir padded alongside her while using his tail to dettach the rifle from her back.

He chucked it across the room where it looked like it was about to smash right into the opposite wall when-

"Got it!" a large robotic blue Panther shot up and grabbed it into its jaws, "I win again!" Ash's brown eyes rolled in amusement, "What on earth were you doing around there Roval?" She asked.

Rovals optics twirled like they were widening, "I was asleep" He purred hopping to her other side, Ash stuffed her hands into her blue jeans pockets as she hopped onto a chair that spun around on impact.

She leaned forward and tapped the computer infront of her on, the screen flickering to life and displaying the widening space outside the Reality they were in.

A brief sigh left her mouth, A real lot had happened the past several years, Since that whole 'Big Bang' or that's what Themis called it, Everyone had grown up to way more mature ages than they were before and that means so did-

Ash ducked when a bird shot right by her ear and around the computer, "Orion!" She yelled spinning around to her slightly younger brother.

"Whoops" He chuckled nervously, Ash groaned glancing at the blue bird perched on the monitor, "You mind?" She retorted, the bird chirping at her, taking off back to Orion.

Yes, he'd grown up as well, and had for some ever reason grown a great kinship with the...questionable birds that lived on the Island, Unfortunately that also included...

A thud shook the room making Roval screech and shoot up in fright, A giant Griffin as well, "Wow, guess Goldens back" Ash's eyes looked hearing Auren, she was in the shadows above them as usual, She'd probably been there the entire time.

Goldens eye opened, he snorted at the remark before closing it again, Orion sat against his chest with a small snort at his sisters mildly annoyed mood.

Ash really couldn't bring herself to hate him, his blonde hair reminded her of her mom who was....floating in space.

Hunjirs head perked up at her thoughts, Oh right he could hear her mind, She felt his head on her legs a second later, looking to then see him staring at her, "Your wondering again?" He purred, his own purring sending vibrations onto her body because they were just that strong.

"You could put it that way" Ash responded letting one of her hands rest on his furry head, "Do you ever miss them?" He cooed, moving to press against her body, Her throat let out a thoughtful hum, "A bit, but they have their suits to keep them safe out there" A giggle sounded.

"They even fought off death several times, I think being in space is a cakewalk compared to that" Hunjir nodded in agreement.

Because of the massive explosion following the Zero Points destabilisation the older Seven had been missing ever since, well sort of- Turns out their were just casually floating in space.

And as for the other Island it was....well remade into the one the Seven lived on originally, so its where all the Ancients they knew lived now, she wasn't sure if they'd ever see them again but there was a chance they would visit.

Last she heard was that Kiza had given them all strict instructions to take the Seven to that Island when they were found, Away from all the...well chaos that this new one could bring.

As for the other younger members...

"WE'RE BACK!" Jade yelled hopping inside, making Golden screech, Ash hummed in greeting continuing to stare at the console infront.

Jade and Axton were now- let's just say explosion experts? she wasn't really sure because they couldn't pick a lane on what they were doing.

Jade's bat friend Sanctum wasn't really a bat and had ended up being a giant creature they called a Banshee, which give or take was useful to have for stealth missions.

And then there was Themis and Astra...

Hunjir nuzzled her chest realising she was thinking about them again, It was...hard really because a while after they'd ended up on this Island the two had essentially vanished for several months.

At least until Torin had one day reported they were with this Society group, It made Ash so depressed she hadn't left the room in at least several weeks tops, It made sense considering she never expected her own siblings to just turn like that.

One of the few people who actually understood was Hope, the Underground's leader, her sister was the leader of that Society.

And there was for some reason a walking talking tiger that sounded like he should be on the front of some cereal box.

Then there was the...extremely hard-core Jones, not the old one but a new more serious one, Ash had to admit she kind of missed the old Jones, with the stupid jokes he cracked every five minutes.

The console beeped making her head snap out of its thoughts, "Comm message" Torin pressed a small red button on the dashboard to accept the call, to their surprise a voice they hadn't heard in a long while came through.

"Hey guys so uh-" Torin snorted, "Bonehead you are the most unprofessional person I've ever had the pleasure of working with" He immediately stuttered on the other end, struggling to get words out after her remark.

"Thanks I guess, look Kiza was just passing by and ended up finding Imagined and Order on a meteor" Jade's head snapped up from her seat.

Ash blinked, "On a meteor?" She asked him again like it wasn't an everyday occurrence, "Yeah it's weird right? anyways she's brought them back here and they seem to be fine" He cleared his throat with a cough, "Well Orders wings are totally busted but I guess we can fix them"

Ash's brown eyes rolled as she ducked under the desk, her hand reaching for the tool box she always kept underneath in the case she got bored, "Send them here Bone, I'll fix them"

"Okay! so I'll update you when they are-" Ash yelped when Jade practically pushed her off the chair and nearly onto the floor if it wasn't for Hunjir having the quickest reaction time in the entire Island.

"IM ON MY WAY!" She yelled immediately turning and running out with Sanctum following after her, "Excited?" Bonehead blurted out, "You just found her mother Bone" Torin sighed heavily, her fingers pressing hard against her forehead, "You'll catch them up right?"

"Oh yeah yeah we'll handle that don't worry" Ash cut the comms and leaned back into her chair as she sat back down.

Torin quickly noticed, as she usually did, "I know your still upset" She lowered to lean on one knee, Ash sighed heavily closing her brown eyes, "I still don't get why they'd do it, especially Astra"

The other womans expression changed to thought, "I dont know, but people change as they get older, maybe they just thought the Society's ideals fit them" Her eyes wandered up to where Auren was perched, the woman grinding the tip of her sword against the wall.

"Its not all bad, they still meet, your sister is still the same one you used to know" Ash bit her lip nervously, "I...guess.." Her fingertips pressed together.

"I just hope it doesn't change them" Hunjir headbutted her arm, Ash smiled at him knowing what he was getting at.

"Torin we're going off to another Reality for a bit" She said as she stood up, the former nodded, moving to take her place, "Alright, see you soon" Her head raised, "I'll call you immediately if they find them" Ash nodded in thanks as Roval and Hunjir followed her out.

"Ooh! so where are we going?!" He beeped, bouncing around Hunjir, Ash didn't look up while clicking the teleporters wires in but did reply.

"Visiting some old friends of my parents" She snorted at the thought, "It may sound weird but some of tennis are robots" Roval skidded to a halt and nearly slammed into Hunjirs leg, "Robots?! REALLY!" Hunjir hissed and his ears pressed to his head.

Ash had already become lost in thought again while messing with the controls, once more being reminded of her siblings, She could never get it out of her head.

She really wondered if she was fighting for the right side sometimes, all of the stuff that had happened in the past really made her think.

She didn't flinch when the rift slammed aggressively to life right infront of her, prompting Hunjir to prance over and press against her, what he usually did when she was zoned out.

"Huh- oh sorry Hunji" She rested her palm on his heads fur, "Lets get going" Roval leapt in first without even a second thought.

Ash suppressed a giggle, "As soon as mom and dad are found, I am showing him to them" Hunjir smacked his tail lightly onto her shoulder, "I think they'll like him"

She laughed, her palm pressing against her chest, "I made him, of course they'll like him" She jumped into the rift as he was going to reply.

Hunjirs eyes rolled, Anyone could see the Scientists over the top ego flowing out of her, guess it was a family thing.

Chapter Text

Ash stretched as she was perched on the very top of homebase, Since the Big Bang, Husk activity had all but vanished and for the first time the sky was actually blue in this place.

"Chosen the roof life then?" Sarah landed with a thud right next to her, the ninja spinning a star around her fingers, "Theres someone else just up there" She gestured with her free hand to further up the roof.

"Been there for a while just staring at the sky" Ash slowly stood up, strange that someone else stared up at the sky like her.

Sarah had already gone by the time Ash had glanced back in her direction, a sigh leaving her nose, might as well find out who this was.

She grabbed onto the rails separating the wall and the tiled roof before pulling herself up with a strained grunt.

Unfortunately the guttering isn't what some would call strong and it snapped as she was leaning over it, "Oh wonderful" Ash rolled her eyes, hanging off of guttering was the least eventful thing that had happened in her life so she wasn't too phased by it.

Although a second later she was hoisted up onto the roof by the other already up there, "Didn't expect to see you up here" Ash's head immediately shot up, "Mom?!" She yelled scrambling up to see sure enough was Paradigm stood there, blonde hair tied up in a bun nestled near the top of her head.

"Weren't you in space?" She asked, Paradigm snorted, "Sort of, maybe five minutes tops, we ended up here" She tucked her hands into the small satchel on her side, pulling out Horus who's entire left wing was scarred black.

Ash's face dropped, "What happened to him?" She asked, kneeling down to look at his wing, "Not sure, but he's lost all his energy, he can't even get into his rock anymore" She frowned, Ash had a hunch this had something to do with that Valeria on the Island, the one who possessed unusual fire powers. She couldn't have gotten those from nowhere.

"Anyways" Paradigm nestled Horus back into the satchel, "Wheres Astra and Themis?" Ash's gaze dropped, "About that..." The two women jumped hearing a crack, a rift had spawned infront of homebase, Ash knew who was coming out.

"Thats your answer" She muttered, Paradigms brown eyes narrowed, "What on earth..." She mumbled back leading Ash to huff, "They both joined this ridiculous faction on the Island, call themselves the Society, they kidnapped Peely and seized control over the entire Island"

Paradigms head whipped to face her, "They joined a group of villains?!" She jumped down without a second word making Ash cringe, Oh man this was about to get really ugly.

She landed near to the blonde, Hunjir and Roval joining her after, Hunjirs ears perked seeing Astra, the woman was wearing gold plated gear on her shoulders and head, but there was no sign of Eclipse.

Themis on the other hand looked...majorly different, Last Ash heard was that he'd made armor for himself out of the Society's collection, and his own metal arm.

.

Sure it sounded strong but when there's an extremely angry parent, you'd absolutely need more than armor.

"We were ordered by Valeria to..." Themis trailed off, "Shit...hi mom..." Astras head shot up, "Wait what?!" She yelled, "Dont hi me WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU BOTH DOING!" Paradigm yelled, Hunjir cringed, his ears flattening and stepping back behind Ash, who herself was cringing.

"Is this an angry parent?" Roval asked, his optics watching in curiosity, "You'd be right" an AI hopped over, "Esmeray?!" Ash puffed out laughter, "Aren't you dead?" She knelt down to let her hop into her palm, "I was, but time paradoxes are a weird thing, mess all sorts of things up, change stuff you know the works" Esmerays optics rolled.

"So you know, here I am, in my own pride and glory again"

"Hey what's going on?" Ray zoomed up with Scientist by her side, "Why are we all yelling outside Homebase?" Paradigm sighed heavily hearing the robot, Scientist himself perked up just as a new rift opened, "Astra?" She looked over at his direction, even with no sight she could hear him opening his arms for a hug.

Her mouth opened yet no words came out, instead her head simply lowered and she followed Themis back in.

Scientist slumped at her rejection making Paradigm rest her arm onto his shoulder, "Lets go big guy" She muttered, He simply nodded and went back towards Homebases doors.

"Yikes" Ray mumbled floating up beside Ash and the others, Ash bit her lip, "Agreed"

Astra sighed as she left the rift, Themis shooting her a look, "What is it" He snapped, moving to grab a box of tech their troops had stolen from Homebase without their knowledge.

"Dont play dumb you know what I'm talking about" She snapped back, Her blind eyes narrowing at him, He had to admit it actually made him slightly nervous when she did that.

"If your talking about Mom and dad I don't care" He snapped back, Astra glared at him, "Why not? you saw mom, i-" She fell silent.

Themis huffed, "You and I both know we work for Valeria now, no stupid family members are going to tell us what to do and what not to do here" Astras head dipped and she simply nodded, "Okay..."

Astra then jumped when Nisha walked up behind her, "Come with me" She whispered, The blind woman quickly followed her away to another room.

"Awww man" Imagined sighed heavily, one leg leaning on a chair, turns out the Seven members that were brought back ended up coming to homebase instead of the Island.

"I mean yeah it's a bummer" Dennis blurted out, "Like, imagine coming back from outer space and finding out your kids are like totally evil now" He yelped when Sarah smacked him over the head.

Ash shrugged, "Auren and Jade are sort of okay about it" Paradigm leaned back in the chair arms crossed and a not very pleased look upon her face.

Scientist on the other hand just looked deflated, "Best we can do is hit them on occasions" Ash's fingers pressed together, "We don't have enough firepower to hit them regularly"

She perked, Hunjirs head tilting when Scientist leaned forward pressing a rift to go into her hands, "Take that" He said while leaning back into his chair, "You know who to get"

Ash smiled, getting up and hugging them both, "Thank you" Paradigm nudged Esmeray who perked up, "Are you sure?" She beeped, The blonde shrugged, "I know your bored" The AI snorted, running along to get onto Ash's shoulder.

"Hunji, Roval let's go" The two got up and went to her side, "We'll come visit!" Hunjir cooed, his tail flicking in farewell before bouncing out the room after Ash.

"If you get that Valeria one get me her coat!" Imagined yelled, her head turned to see everyone staring at her in confusion.

"What?" She retorted, taking a swig of alcohol, "Her coats impressive"

Chapter Text

Astra sat on a chair in the small meeting room they were all in, Valeria had called them all in on a meeting regarding the Reality heists.

"Now, we've tracked these...rouges to find they've been talking to others elsewhere" Valeria frowned her fingers pressing together in thought.

"Child" Astra looked up to Valeria, "I understand you are the sibling of one of those rouges, I'm not going to ask you to attack them of course, I understand from personal experience that attacking someone close isn't pleasant" She sat up and a sigh left her nose.

"Do you have a brief idea of where they could be hiding?" Astra stayed silent however, she had a small idea but didn't want to say it out loud.

"I know where" Themis spoke up, he was pressing his fingers together, "They usually hide underground, in a secret bunker in a house or a hut" He stood up with a deep breath, "If you don't mind I want to go deal with this myself"

Valeria slowly blinked as if contemplating, "Very well, go ahead" Themis nodded and promptly left.

Ash tilted her head, "Hold on your saying you found a kid?" She stared up at Manila who nodded, "We sure did" She nudged her head at Mista who blinked slowly uncovering her wing.

She stared as a small girl with black hair sat gripping Mistas tail like a lifeline, staring at them all with wide eyes, "Awww!" Jade hopped up from her seat and bounced over to them.

"She's so cute!" The girl shuffled behind the dragons tail more prompting Jade to back up, "She's a little...spooked" Mista turned to Ash, "Which is understandable I suppose" The white haired woman frowned, "Should I call in mom and dad? they are probably better suited for this sort of thing" Manila giggled to herself leaning forward.

"Funny thing was that's exactly what we came to ask" Mista nudged the shadow dragon with her wing, "Yes, please do Ash" The woman nodded and walked off, Hunjir bouncing off behind her.

Jade however just crouched down, "You think Paradigm and Scientist know what to do?" She looked up to Mista who glanced down at the girl, "I hope so, but they are parents, I'm sure they'll know"

Ash groaned again as she held up the comms into the air, unfortunately their base was surrounded by trees which made communication a little...hard.

Hunjir meanwhile was melting the snow under his heated paws, staring as the flakes melted away one by one, only looking up when he heard Ash groan.

"Can't find anything?" He cooed, She glanced over with a shrug, "Nope, God this is impossible..." He hummed, shuffling to rest his head on the floor but heard movement nearby.

Ash noticed his stance change prompting her to rest her hand on her pistol, "Can't go one day without getting attacked" She saw the flash and ducked slamming her fist onto her arm and pulling the attacker onto the ground.

"You've never been good at fighting have you" She sneered, Of course it was her brother, he was the only one in that curse forbidden Society who knew where they were, other than Astra obviously but she knew the girl wouldn't tell.

"If I was good at fighting I would've already shoved the end of that rifle up your as-" Hunjir snarled at Themis' face before he could even finish the sentence, his fur raised defensively as he stalked around.

"Clearly you haven't grown a proper brain while being in that place" Ash chucked his robotic arm to the floor, instead placing her foot on his chest to lean on it. "Why did you do it huh?" She snapped, Her brown eyes started to tear up.

"Why did both of my siblings ditch me and LEAVE ME FOR SOME STUPID SHITTY RICH PEOPLE!" Ash screamed and grabbed his neck when he sneered at her, "We only saw who was right" Themis snapped back, his frown deepening against hers.

"Yeah" Ash nodded slowly, "You keep thinking that when mom gets Horus back up to shape, then your sorry little ass is going to burn" She picked him up and full force threw him meteres away to the floor.

She watched him stalk away afterwards into the forest, "Come in Hunji" Ash said, turning and walking back to the house, the Pluxarian not saying a word, instead simply following quietly.

Astra cringed hearing Themis shout again, he'd been doing it since he came back, obviously Ash had overpowered him again, She'd always been the strongest out of the three.

She never really minded it, Astra wasn't much of a fighter, she left it to Ash for that, but Themis was angry about it, even more so with all those upgrades to his body and the way he'd been acting with the Society.

She felt a pair of fluffy ear muffs placed on her head, Astra knew it was Nisha because nobody else really paid her any attention except for the Jouster.

A loud bang was heard, it wasn't a gunshot, just Oscar yelling back most likely, Astra curled up on herself, trying to drown out all the yelling and shouting.

"enough, both of you" Valeria glared at both Oscar and Themis who backed up quickly on her arrival, "We pinpointed the location of the base when you went" She eyed Themis.

"Now all we have to do is gather our forces and launch an attack" Astra tensed, she knew Valeria was staring right at her, "I have a plan for that"

"Energy readings are coming right from down there" Roval pointed his snout down to a chasm, Since Ash had come back in a real bad mood, she decided to go after the energy readings that they'd picked up from a canyon nearby, with Manila and Roval tagging along of course.

Ash pulled a face moving to stand up on Manilas back.

"Down there?" The shadow dragon snorted opening her wings fully, "Your the boss Ash, just say when" She called up, The woman puffed and sat back down, "Go for it" The dragon tucked her wings in, free falling down into the narrow chasm, just narrowly avoiding the rocks and jagged edges.

"There!" Roval pointed to some shadows in the not do far distance just as Manila landed, "Are those people?" She whispered to Ash.

She shrugged, "Beats me, let's find out"

"I still don't understand how a small child found herself in this place" Mista cooed, she was perched right next to Axton who was just staring at her, "You know I'm not a genius right?" He blinked when Niva walked over to look at him.

The doors then opened prompting Jade to spin around, "Hi Paradigm!" She smiled when the blonde sat down with a huff, "Hey Jade" Her hand slapped onto her face.

"We heard there were troubles?" Scientist leaned on the chair with a puff, Axtons eyes rolled, "If you mean having this kid wandering around the place and annoying me, yes" Paradigms eyes opened and she leaned forward.

"a kid? where are they?" She felt a tap on the shoulder and looked to see Scientist pointing down at her leg.

"Whats-oh" Paradigm shifted around to see the girl hugging her leg, "Hey there girl" She grunted lifting her up, "Her names Niva" Jade said watching them.

Niva cuddled into Paradigms chest, "Why does she like me so much?" She whispered to Scientist who snorted, "Maybe she thinks your her mom" The pilot stuttered.

"Wh- no I'm not her mom!" She hissed back, Niva looked up and stared at her with wide eyes before looking at Scientist, "Mommy said you died" She cooed out.

Scientist and Paradigm shared looks, "But..you never..." Her head shot up as it clicked, "Oh my god" Paradigm muttered, "I think she's from another dimension" Jade and Axton both perked up from their seats.

"You mean like those alternates?" Jade asked, Paradigm nodded patting Nivas back, "Yeah, so from what she's saying, there's a whole dimension where I lived and everyone else died" She bit her lip.

Scientist hummed leaning back, "man, kinda feel bad for that Paradigm" He glanced over at her, "Yeah..." She muttered prompting him to lean over and gently squeeze her hand.

"Wheres Ash by the way?" Scientist asked Auren who was perched in her usual place, "Gone with Manila to scope out some energy readings" She drummed her sword along the concrete.

"Mainly to cool off, She had an encounter with Themis outside" Paradigm sat up a little, "She did?" The other nodded briefly, "Mhm, that's all I know"

Manila walked by Ash while she, Roval and Hunjir went towards whoever was in the distance, But one of the people looked up making then all stop in their tracks.

"What do we do now?" Manila whispered to Ash, the woman just stood there, "We wait and see if they are a threat" Rovals optics twirled, "Is that a dragon?" Within an instant a large dragon was in their faces.

"Who the hell are you all! Did you cause that rift?!" They all shared glances, "Look we have absolutely no idea what your talking about" The dragon laughed loudly, "I've heard that excuse before, TALK!" It screeched, blue flames flaring from its mouth.

Manila retorted with her own shadowy mist, "Back off weirdo!' She snarled back, opening her tattered wings, "Saturn calm down" Ash stared as a familiar armored person came through the mist to the dragons side.

"Visitor?" She called, he stared at her in confusion, "Who..are you?" His hand reached for his laser rifle, "And how do you know my name"

"Uhhhh your my dad's teammate? why are you acting so weird?" Ash backed up slightly at the hint of aggression, the dragon snarled stomping toward Ash but was stopped by Manila slamming her back.

"Alright, its obvious you two aren't from here" She snorted, "Start talking" Ash's mouth gaped when the dragon vanished to a tall light blue haired woman, "Look all we know is that we were going down some tunnels and got sucked into a rift" The woman stuffed her hands into her pockets.

Visitor nodded a little, "Yeah that's pretty much it" Ash frowned to herself, "Okay thats...odd, I guess you could come back with us" She paused at the sounds of footsteps, "Thats our que to leave!" Roval barked, a rift opening at command, Ash fired a grenade into the noise and jumped in after the two others.

They all landed in the middle of the base startling everyone, "You found Vis?" Scientist sat up when Ash stumbled up with a groan, "Not our Visitor"

Saturn snorted, "Yeah, he's my Visitor" Paradigm and Scientist stared gobsmacked at what they were looking at.

"Riiight, so" Scientist stood up watching Niva cuddled into Paradigms chest again, "From what I can gather, your both from another world right?" The Visitor and Saturn both nodded.

Scientist chuckled to himself, "Knew it! we've dealt with this sort of thing before, but I'm not exactly sure how we get all three of you back"

Auren stood up getting everyone's attention since she had a view on the topside at all times, "Dont mean to be a buzz kill but we have a problem" She looked down, "Society, a lot of them" Ash swore under her breath.

"Of course he'd come back" Roval leapt over with her rifle in his mouth, "You two coning?" She looked at Scientist and Paradigm, both of them standing up. "Think it's about time we have a talk with both of them" Paradigm nodded and settled Niva down on the beanbag.

"No doubt the whole Society will be there" Axton tapped his hand on his arm, "I'll call for some backup" He swiftly left the room to go do just that.

Ash meanwhile walked up to the two, "Are you sure about coming out? he was pretty aggressive the last time I saw him" The two Seven members shared slightly nervous glances.

"We'll try and talk with him" Scientist said patting the womans shoulder, Paradigm didn't respond and just dipped her head, He noticed and sighed bringing her to his side.

"You going to be okay talking to him?" He whispered on their private comms through their helmets, The blonde sucked in a breath, "I hope so Sci.."

She rested her helmeted head onto his chest while everyone went out to fight, "I really hope so"

Saturn slammed her jaws down on one of the many troops, "You've got to admit" She spat him out and turned to the Visitor, "This place is pretty fun!" He hummed while gunning down more troopers.

"Theres an unusual form to these troops, I don't like it" Saturn giggled, "You worry too much" She shot off, crashing into more troops.

"Any sign of him?" Scientist asked Paradigm while easily dispatching of another troop, She shook her head trying to concentrate over all the chaos and noise.

"There!" Esmeray hopped out from her pouch pointing to where a large group of guards were gathered, "Probably where the Society's big old weirdoes are" Scientist chucked the rifle he was holding to the floor as it ran out of ammo.

Paradigm felt her bag shuffle and spotted Horus' head peeking out, "I know, she's here isn't she" She muttered to the bird who let off a weak but acknowledging chirp.

The two of them stared when some tall white and black haired man walked out from the guards and over to them, "Your both Seven members right?" Paradigm and Scientist shared glances. "Yeah, why" Scientist snarled.

"Because if I'm right you were the one who roped our two kids into joining that little kiddy club" Montague chuckled, his fingers pressing together, "I was only going to ask if you wanted to join, but judging by your reactions you don't" Paradigm frowned hearing the click of guns behind them.

Of course it was a distraction.

"How about now hm?" Montague drummed his hands across the glowing necklace he was wearing, "Wow buddy" Scientist laughed loudly leaning over, "You honestly think this is the worse we've ever seen?" He reached into his pocket, pulling out a cylinder looking device, he swung it over his shoulder, lasers instantly killing every single guard in that circle.

"We've had to fight literal demons" Scientist hummed, clicking his gauntlets red laser on, "So your little babies with guns don't really phase us" Montague scowled and stormed off into the group of troops.

"So what now?" He looked down at Horus who was trying to scramble out of the bag, Paradigm frowned, "I'm going after that Valeria jerk, she has something of mine that I want back" She gently tucked him back inside and loaded her rifle.

"You go have some fun elsewhere" She nudged him with a slight giggle, running off immediately after.

Astra sat behind a tree in the wooded area nearby, All the noise, gunfire and explosions were overwhelming her to the point she couldn't think.

She heard a crunch nearby and meeped whipping out her own rifle, "Woah okay calm down" Astra sat up instantly hearing Auren, "Sorry" She mumbled placing it back down on the floor. She didn't know where Auren was until she felt her sit down beside her.

"Do you even like it there?" Auren whispered, rubbing her slightly bruised arm, Astra felt her hands wring together before she even replied, "No, everyone except Nisha are so aggressive, even Themis" She slumped at his name, "He used to be so quiet before he joined the Society and now he's got all these body modifications"

"Hey" Auren cupped Astras cheek, "I'm sure he'll come around" Astra stared into nothing while taking ahold of Aurens other hand, "I hope your right..." A fireball suddenly erupted from the trees nearby. "Well that's not good" Auren mumbled.

"How the hell is she so skilled in fire!" Paradigm scowled ducking another flaring ball of fire, "Practice?" Esmeray beeped scanning the area for any passages through.

Montague huffed reaching for his pistol, maybe a distraction shot would work, Themis noticed and frowned, "What are you doing?" He raised a brow at the man, "Making a little distraction' He aimed it at the sky right above Paradigms head.

He didn't expect Themis to tackle him to the floor, "Are you an IDIOT?!" He snapped, "Valeria always tells us to not take lives are you DUMB?!" Montague scoffed trying to kick his way out to no avail.

"Get off of him kid" Oscar pulled Themis off only to get kicked in the leg, "I am NOT A KID!" He spun around to the tiger who snarled standing up.

"Guess I'll have to teach you a lesson won't i" Oscar blinked slowly picking out the knife from his belt and swinging it around.

Themis huffed, "You? a furry animal, I know ones five times stronger than you'll ever be" Oscar screeched and dove at him only to slam into the bark of a tree.

Montague instead just kicked Themis down from behind and leveled a pistol at his head, "I dont deal well with traitors" He snarled clicking the safety off.

He was then slammed into by Paradigm, gun immediately raised in his face, "Say that again and I'm ripping your arms off" She snarled grabbing his suit and lifting him up with one hand.

He clicked his tounge and flexed his hand, "And I suppose your not watching your back" Paradigms head whipped around and she frowned, "Theres nothing" There was the click of a trigger and she felt herself getting pushed away slightly.

She turned and saw Themis where she once was standing, lifeless in a pool of growing blood, Montague was stood staring first in shock then a smile came to his face. "I always knew you were a traitor"

He was met with flames surrounding him however.

"Valeria I can-" Montague froze seeing a large phoenix towering over him, fire flaring from its entire body, "You" Paradigm lowered down, "Are forfeit to death, even if you run I will find you" She smacked him with her wing sending him flying out of the ring of fire and into a nearby tree.

Valeria glared him down as she passed, "We are discussing your actions" She sneered, leaving without attempting to help him.

Paradigm sat down next to Themis' body and pulled him into her lap, Horus landing on her knee with a sad chirp, hopping over and pressing his body into his cold one.

She rested her hand on his feathers prompting a small chirp, "I know....i-i know" She heard slow footsteps behind her and felt Scientists body press against hers.

Paradigm held Themis against her chest and slowly started to sob, Scientist was dead silent, although he never showed emotion anyways.

Esmeray hopped out and pressed against Paradigms neck, Her optics staring at Themis' unmoving body, "Poor kid" She mumbled, snapping out of it at another shuddering sob from Paradigms body.

Scientist rested a hand on her back, "Para look at me" She gulped and looked up at him, her eyes still streaming tears and the occasional gasp for breath, "We'll get them back for this" He took his helmet off and rested his head against hers, tears dropping from his eyes as well.

"They won't get away with it" Paradigm pressed a single gentle kiss to Themis' forehead before looking up, a firey red color erupting in her eyes.

"No" She muttered, "No they 𝑤𝑜𝑛'𝑡"

Imagined walked through homebases halls with Order by her side, Ray had sent them a ping saying the other remaining members had shown at Homebase and were well- completely unaware of what just happened.

They entered the room and she immediately leaned on the table, "Are we allowed to ask you questions or-" Origin started making her open an eye as Visitor walked to her side.

"You want to know where Para and Sci are don't you" Imagined stood up properly and huffed, "Well, yes" Foundation replied walking closer with his arms crossed.

"Why are you being secretive" He demanded making her just raise an eyebrow, "You want to know? fine" She stood up, "Themis is dead" They all froze while she walked to the window.

"How- who killed him?" Origin asked, being the first to regain his composure, "stuck up jerk, goes by the name of Montague" Order spoke up standing by Visitor.

"Para went on a ten hour rampage across the Island, when we went most of it was a charred burnt mess, whole towns got leveled to the ground" She hummed, "Nobody's seen her or Sci since" Foundation gripped his arms.

The doors opened and Maiden hopped in with a small chirp, bouncing to the side when Scientist picked her up, "Oh! hey Scientist" Ray zoomed over with a box in her hands, "Here you go, still nice and warm" He nodded briefly before turning and leaving again.

Everyone stared at where he'd come from, "Jesus" Visitor muttered resting his hand on his helmet, "I've never seen him that tired before" Imagined sighed sadly her head dropping a little.

"All I've heard from Para was that Esmeray told me she's holding Themis' scarf in her arms, never let's go of it" Ray hovered over to them, "I'll show you where the others are"

Paradigm sat sobbing into one of the many pillows bundled around her, She'd been grieving ever since they'd arrived back at Homebase.

The door opened making her shudder again, "Come here" Scientist muttered, lifting her onto his lap, They'd buried Themis a few hours ago, it taking all of those hours to get Paradigm to come out of the rain and inside so she didn't catch a cold.

She was adamant on staying right by Themis' grave, which made him break a little inside, She'd always spent time with Themis, Paradigm was the closest to him.

He hadn't heard from Ash since then either, last he heard was that Jade was completely broken.

Astra on the other hand...she'd vanished entirely, But he wasn't too worried, after all Auren watched her like a hawk.

Another choked sob from Paradigm dragged him from his thoughts, "Para, breathe" He whispered into her ear, She gulped and her rapid breathing started to calm.

"There we go" He whispered patting her back, "Do you want to go see the others? they just came in" Paradigm pulled away slightly, mustering a shake of the head.

"Alright, we can stay" He rested his head on her shoulder gently, rocking her back and forth, Apparently it was something she liked as weird or strange as it was.

Probably just something that she never got as a kid considering that IO invasion.

Horus hopped over from his small perch, he was a lot better now since he got that boost on the Island, His feathers even looked brighter than before he'd gotten ill.

Paradigm placed a hand on the birds head prompting a small chirp from him in response, But it was short lived as she slowly started to descend into sobs again.

Scientist quickly pulled her into his chest again, It would be a long time until either of them recovered from this.

Chapter Text

"Man the vibe took a real hit in here didn't it" Saturn mumbled from her seat, the Visitor was nearby with his arms folded, "Yeah..."

Her head raised hearing the sounds of doors sliding open, "Woah!" Saturn shot over as an Eagle right to Visitors face making him jump.

"theres two Visitors now!" She sighed fluttering a little, "Hey bird brain!" Imagined pulled her down and she shifted back to her normal self, "Visitors MY boyfriend got it?!" She snapped poking Saturn's chest.

"Wheres your proof then? I don't see him swooning over you!" The woman snapped back to the redhead, all while everyone else was stood there watching.

"Wow" Order snorted with laughter, "Who would've thought they'd fight over Vis" She paused, "I mean Visitors- wait why is there two?"

"just is" Jade muttered staring down at the floor on the seat she was sat on, Imagined sighed, Guess it was time to go talk to her.

"What do you mean you haven't seen her?" Scientist blurted to Esmeray, who of which was simply perched on the bed nearby, "You are literally her AI"

"I'm on a wizard Scientist" Esmeray slowly replied, her tail swishing around in an almost hypnotic motion, "She said she was heading back to the Island a day ago, hasn't come back since"

He groaned, his head tilting back, "I'm going to find her, I already have a funny feeling I know what's happened" Scientist picked up a spare rifle from the rack, "Stay here and tell Ash where I've gone when she asks" Esmeray nodded in response, tucking herself up again when he left.

"As you can see" Montague strolled through the halls, Scientist walking right by him, He'd decided to well..act as a double agent for the Society.

Something he absolutely knows Ash will smack him for later.

"I am in the works of forming a super weapon just inside here" He nodded his head at a door, "As I know you are a inventor like me I suggest you go and see what you can do to aid it" He turned and walked off leaving Scientist there.

He was not thrilled about working with the guy who killed his son, not at ALL, but- it was the only way to actually get into what this whole- secret project was.

Scientist quickly then stepped into the room, only hearing rattling at first, right before a fireball smashed right above his head.

"Jesus!" He hissed, the lights turning on to show the giant phoenix He knew very well, chained by the neck and legs to the wall.

"Oh Para..." Scientist walked forward as she leaned down with a snort, "How did you get caught this time" He muttered, yet she just snorted and looked away, Oh so she was embarrassed.

He did notice the dimmed bars on said collar, "You found it then" Montague walked up next to him making Paradigm thrash to try and get at him, "Its a stubborn one, but I always have ways of keeping it in check" The man pressed a button on the bottom of his pendant.

The bars on the collar flashed on and Paradigm froze moments later, standing up straight, Scientist was well- let's just say plotting the biggest thing he could think of for the death of this guy.

first he gaslights his kids into joining his kiddy club, then he kills one of them, and now kidnaps and mind controls his girlfriend?!

Another one for his already massive kill list.

Montague let off a melodic sigh, "Come along, we have work to do" He turned the collar off right before turning and leaving the room.

Scientist watched her slump to the floor, shaking violently as she stared at him, "I'll be back soon" He mouthed, She just blinked as a response, watching him go as well.

Ash felt the vibrations of Hunjirs purring from just under her hands, Auren had forced her to take a break from leading duties for once.

She was stressed, mainly because of Themis' death, Astra just vanishing and her parents sudden shift over to the Society.

She- knew those two, if they joined the enemy it was one hundred percent for secret intelligence reasons, Hell her dad was the smartest person on the Island.

"So mom and dad are with those posh guys now?" Orion asked, Right. she forgot he was the only other person in the room than her and Hunjir.

"intelligence reasons yes" She replied, leaning down to grab some paper but Hunjirs tail pushed the box away, The white haired woman groaned looking down at him, He had the most smug, yet adorable looking expression on his face.

"Alright you win Hunji" Ash raised her arms for him to sit on her lap, and he did not even a second after, his fur pressing on her chest when he leaned onto her stomach.

"I'm sure your parents have it under control" He cooed in her mind, some of his tricks coming into play, "Yeah I know" She muttered back, Another one was him being able to read her mind.

"Then relax" He chirped, nuzzling her cheek, "Yeah stress butt!" They both jumped on Saturn's loud voice speaking up, She was by the doorway.

"We'll go have a little sneak over there" She saluted and vanished half a second later, most likely to drag her Visitor with her

Ash groaned rubbing her face, "This fight is going to be the death of me" Hunjir snorted in her face, "No it is not I'm not letting you die"

That drew a full blown laugh from Ash, "Its rhetorical Hunji, I'm not literally going to die" Hunjirs face went blank almost immediately.

"Oh...well then" He hopped down as she stood up, "Lunch?" She shrugged to him, "Why not"

Auren sighed from where she was perched on the windows wide ledge, She wished she could do that with Astra, but she hadn't been found yet.

Her fingers danced her sword up to the palm of her hand, trailing on the still empty crystal slot that would usually have gone there by now.

A thought crossed her mind, one telling her to just get out there and find her.

"Alright brain" Auren stretched her shoulders out, slightly achey from her shoulder plates being worn for so long, "Lets go find her"

"Lison pass me that wrench will you?" Imagined said over to her AI, who was just laying down feet in the air.

"Hm?" His head twirled around to face her, "Wrench?" He looked down seeing the tool directly infront of him.

The redhead rolled her eyes, "Yes Lison the wrench" He padded over and pulled the wrench to her hand.

"You seem a little bothered lately Lison" Imagined turned to him, He stared up at her, "I'm not bothered there's just this- weird feeling I'm having" The AI hopped down to the floor patting the floorboard.

"Its like there's something underneath the ground" He beeped, The redhead leaned forward, "The base?" She asked, but he shook his head, "No, under the Island itself, its definitely not the blue ball"

Imagined rubbed her forehead, "Thats something alright, I'll bet that pink haired weirdo is after it, Auren said she saw a telescope and a book near to the reels" She stood up, letting him hop across her arm and to her shoulder.

She clicked the door open, walking out into the main base, where- everything was a mess and had her remember the massive party almost everyone had last night.

Apparently Jones had almost borderline blew up Fencing Fields and ran with Peely in tow, Imagined spotted Hunjir asleep, covered in confetti and looking exhausted.

"Aww all asleep" She stretched her arms out, "Anything from Sci?" Lison beeped, "Yep, he said he's almost gotten those weird chains off of Paradigm, should be back today at some point" He coughed, "Right after they burn Montagues mansion to the ground"

Imagined shrugged cracking open a bottle of juice, "Fair enough"

"Well then" Scientist brushed his hands as Paradigm landed behind him with a thud.

Yes they had set the entire mansion on fire. Obviously.

"That'll teach him huh? let's get back" He went to climb up and she paused, "Sci, there's somewhere I want to go first" He knew what she meant and nodded, "Yeah, let's go there"

After traveling through a rift she landed with a thud near the outside of Homebase, letting Scientist climb off before transforming back.

"You absolutely sure about wanting to come back?" He asked, The blonde paused but nodded regardless, "Yeah....it'll be fine Sci" The two walked over to the small grave they'd made for Themis before sitting down.

Horus and Maiden both hopped out and over to the slab sitting down as well, It was silence for several minutes, maybe even longer.

"You think he'd be proud that we burnt that entire building to the floor?" Scientist said after those few minutes, Paradigm just stared forward, "Old him probably would've..." She mumbled, gripping his arm tighter.

"Para" Scientist squeezed her arm, "We both know that he chose to fit his body with all that weird stuff, he was a bit...crazy, which is weird to say about your kid" Paradigm hummed, perking up when another rift was heard.

They were surprised to see both Ash and Astra on either side of them, and also-

a bundle of fur squished them from behind, "Hi!" Orion giggled on Golden who snorted and lowered his head down to the floor.

Paradigm snorted, standing up and lifting Orion up into her lap, It felt bittersweet in a way, not having Themis with them anymore.

They don't know what happened to Montague, he'd vanished after they'd broken free of his mansion.

"by the way" Ash placed a book infront of Paradigm, "Valerias looking for this box" She tapped the doodle of the box, one that the two immediately recognised, "Theres no way she'd actually..." Scientist and Paradigm shared a look, one that meant Oh shit.

"What is it?" Astra asked, holding Eclipse in her arms, "I've only read about this box" Paradigm took the book into her hands as Orion stood up, "I didn't think it actually existed"

"Its called Pandoras box, it's supposed to hold really really bad things inside" Scientist continued, "We aren't talking the usual aliens and crazy killers, this is ancient gods we're talking about" Paradigm nodded back.

"She finds this box and manages to open it, we are screwed beyond screwed" She stood up, "Its a good thing we have a lot of new help then isn't it?" Scientist nudged her slightly, "Feels weird having another Vis around though" Paradigm added on.

"But there must be someone who knows about ancient gods" Paradigm frowned, in thought before it hit her, "I know EXACTLY, who can help" She pressed her gauntlet, opening a rift. "Stay here" She leapt through with it closing a second later.

Astra tilted her head at it, "Who is she getting?" She looked up at Scientist who had a smile on his face, "I think I know who"

20 MINUTES LATER

The rift slowly crackled back open, Scientist looked up from where he was sat as the pilot walked back through, a very familiar individual by her side.

"Heya there Hounds" Scientist dipped his head, "Been a while" Bloodhound nodded smacking their fist against their chest, "It has indeed my felagi, you said there was an enemy of yours tracking a chest from ancient times?" Paradigm nodded passing them the book.

"Ah, this box, it is extremely dangerous" They sighed, heard through their mask, "Uncle Artur told me stories of this, it wreaked great havoc on the lands the last time it was unleashed on the world, if it ends up being unearthed from its resting place, we are all in danger" Scientist bit his lip.

"I'm guessing this has something to do with what's inside the box" Bloodhound swiftly nodded, "the artifacts of the past, are not to be tinkered with, there is great danger with this"

"You will need more help in the case this is opened, I shall return to my world and bring as many who volunteer" They turned to Paradigm who smiled opening the rift back, "Thanks Hound" They dipped their head back before walking through.

"Well" Scientist stood up with a chuckle, "Can't go one threat without the Legends getting involved huh?" Paradigm smirked and nuzzled him, "We both know they've been good friends to us since the incident back then" the mention made him sign heavily, wrapping his arms around her back.

"I suppose you are right" He turned to the others who were playing cards, "Hey you three" They all looked up, "Want to meet some old friends of ours?" Ash immediately leapt up followed by Astra and Orion.

"You mean the Legends?!" Astra bounced over, "I've never been to their Reality before IT'LL BE GREAT!" Orion stared at them with wide eyes, "Where are we going?" He meeped prompting Paradigm to kneel down ruffling his hair, "Nowhere scary don't worry" It made him give a small smile.

Golden chirped walking through the open rift first, Orion on his back, the two girls following after.

Paradigm tapped Esmeray on the head, the AI spinning around, "Ready!" She beeped, shortly watching Amulet flutter up to Scientists shoulder.

"I really hope it doesn't get opened while we're getting backup" Scientist groaned throwing his head back, "I dont want to be face to face with gods" Paradigm rolled her eyes, "I'm sure it'll be fine" She booped him on the nose, leaping in right after to avoid the usual hair ruffle.

"Hey that's not fair!" Scientist suppressed another groan, He really had to stop doing it, "You know you love her" Amulet beeped in a singsong voice, He patted her head on the head, "You always know me Amu"

He hummed, "Got to say, maybe if some of these big old past gods come to the Island, maybe they'll be friendly?"

Amulet shuddered, "I hope so" She beeped, Scientist cringed similarly, "Yeah, so do i" After that he stepped through the rift, which flickered to a close after he'd gone through completely.

"Wowwwww don't you just love it?" Scientist mused as the three stood on the hill overlooking the...giant vortex of souls.

Paradigm rolled her eyes while scribbling on a piece of paper, "Stupid Loopers honestly" She muttered.

"This does not bode well for your Island" Bloodhound spoke up, their arms crossed as they looked over at Pandoras box, "I fear the gods encased in this box will be angry"

"You'd be right" All three of them froze as a gruff voice spoke up behind them, "Ohhh heyyy there" Scientist laughed nervously seeing the...large muscular god stood staring right down at them.

"Are you three the ones who opened that?" He gruffly said, pointing to the now open box, "We have been sat here the entire time!" Scientist argued back, "What makes you think we opened it!"

Paradigm sat there staring down the way bigger man as he reached behind his back, one that Bloodhound picked up on, "MOVE!" They yelled causing the two to scatter just as a lightning strike slammed down where they were just stood.

"What the hell was that for!" Scientist yelled, "While you are not responsible, you are still mortals" The man growled, "And for this you will face the wrath of ZEUS!"

"You know what I am NOT fighting this guy!" Scientist grabbed Paradigm who meeped when they jumped down to the ground and started to make a high tail to the Underground's HQ.

Zeus scoffed, "Mortals, always predictable in their cowardice"

Everyone looked up when Scientist slammed the door shut, "Oh for the love of-" Ash huffed, "Whats happened now?" He chuckled nervously, "So...there may be a bunch of angry gods laying waste to the Island" Everyone was dead silent.

"Did you just say...angry gods?" Saturn asked, She was sat on the desk with Niva in her lap, Paradigm sat down with a small nod, "Dumb loopers opened the box and now there's this Zeus guy mad at us" She picked up a small bolt to inspect it, "And so on and so forth"

The door slammed open, a tall blonde haired woman stood there with wings, prompting a loud scream from Scientist, "Relax I'm not one of the massive destructive ones outside" She kicked the door shut, the wings flicking to and fro.

"I'm Aphrodite, god of love and so on" She crossed her arms, "I uhhh saw you three come face to face with my father" She nodded at Scientist, Paradigm and Bloodhound, "He hates mortals, I've been keeping them out of his way for a long long time"

"Thats nothing new for us to be fair" Paradigm piped up, "We've had our fair share of people who hate us" Aphrodites head tilted to the side, "You are Paradigm and Scientist right?" She asked, The two slowly nodded.

"Hm" She tapped her chin, "I think Cerberus mentioned once that there's a strange goop like man in Hades underworld who really doesn't like you" They both paused, with Imagined, Visitor and Order sharing glances.

"Chaos Agent" Paradigm snarled standing up, "Your telling me that gooped up idiot is on this Island in a cell' Aphrodite shuffled away slightly, "Yes, he is" The blonde snarled punching the desk.

"Para its okay" Scientist pulled her into his chest, "He's not getting out of there, he's not going to hurt you again"

The god nodded, "I'm not entirely sure what this man did to you, but trust me, he's not getting out of the underworld, not while Cerberus is there" She sighed.

"Zeus on the other hand is an issue, if he sees you he'll absolutely try to kill you" Hunjir propped up onto the table, "What about me? I'm an alien" His tail swished from side to side.

He meeped when Ash grabbed him from behind, grunting as she had to practically drag him off the table, "I think you'd be fine since you aren't really a human"

"Quick question about this Zeus guy" Imagined leaned forward with her hands resting on her chin, "Power hungry? crazy? Hates his kids?" Aphrodite stared, "I um- what?" Order pulled her sister back by the armor, "Sorry we've had troubles in the past with our own dad" The black haired woman puffed, "Its a long story"

"If you are truly here to aid us" Bloodhound stepped forward arms crossed, "Then we require your aid in stopping your father" She nodded, "Thats exactly why I'm here" Aphrodite clicked her fingers, the wings on her back spreading outwards, "Theres someone who wants to speak with all of you, calls herself the Oracle I've never really met her personally but she seems nice" With that the goddess left the room with a single wing flap.

"I like her" Axton snorted from his personal corner of the room, "Ironic that the goddess of love just comes in here" Order rolled her eyes holding a stack of papers as she walked across the room.

"I'm more concerned about gloop freak being on the same land as I god damn breathe" Paradigm snarled, having her back turned to everyone else, "Uhhh mom's a little tense" Orion mumbled, Ash sighed with a brief nod, "Chaos Agent isn't the kind of guy you'd like" Roval nuzzled her hand with a robotic purr.

"I've just talked to Found and-" Scientist coughed, "He thinks he can fight Zeus, the god of lightning" He internally groaned, "Maybe Orig can but I know the big buffed up guy can't" He muttered to himself, "Anyone at all want to be the one to calm him down because i like keeping my arms" He paused, "Well, arm"

Saturn coughed slithering up to his shoulder as a snake, "Allow me, I have a way with words" She laughed, leaping off going through the door.

Ash rolled her eyes, then getting notice of a red alert blaring on the screen right next to her, "Hey uhh we're getting a distress signal from the fields" Astra perked up, she was sat next to Auren near the ceiling, "Nishas in trouble?" She leapt down with the latter following.

"She was the only member of that group who actually treated me like a human being" She explained grabbing a newly modified weapon from the rack, "I'm not leaving her to get roasted by some guy with a beard and a bunch of ugly muscles" Auren shrugged following her. "You know me, I go with"

Paradigm groaned in a mix of frustration and concern, "Just be careful" She muttered rubbing her forehead, Astra was already gone but Auren nodded, "I'll keep an eye on her boss" She then darted out after her girlfriend.

Scientist smiled watching them go, He patted Paradigms shoulder, the blonde having slumped down, "Its fine Para" Seeing that it didn't work made him think of an idea, "You know, I did hear that Montague had another building in the Railways" A smile crept onto her face.

"You know me too well Sci" She mumbled, the stupid grin on her face being seen way too easily by the other, Scientist shrugged, "What can I say, now let's go cause some, unintentional fire damage"

Chapter Text

Auren knew she was being watched, She knew from the moment she stepped out of the hideout.

"I know your there" She said without looking up from her sniper rifle, "Thats impressive" A woman, with galaxy like hair and an arrow pouch wrapped around her hip emerged from the nearby bushes.

"A lot more impressive than that tiger" Auren raised a brow, "You took out Oscar? Well that's saved us a job" She picked up her rifle and dropped down.

"There was another girl wandering through here" Artemis pointed out, "I didn't pursue her further I could tell she has a lack of eyesight" Auren scoffed, "You'd be right to not, that's my girlfriend Astra" The goddess seemed to be slightly surprised but brushed it off.

"You say Astra, is she also a goddess?" She asked making Auren chuckle, "Nope, that's just her name" But she paused, "Weren't all you gods supposed to be hunting us?" Auren asked. Artemis shook her head. "Thats what Zeus wants, he's grown a hatred for mortals, one that I'm not particularly in agreement with" She sighed.

"Its an overreaction, I understand that not all mortals are like the ones who tried to attack us when we first set foot on your Island" She whipped her bow back out when a chicken passed by clucking and pecking at the ground.

The Goddess looked up hearing yelling and went faster, Auren following, they emerged into a clearing where some big armored guy was pinning Astra down to the floor.

Auren instantly whipped out her sniper but Artemis placed her hand infront, "Ares let the girl go" She walked forward when his head shot up, "She walked into MY TEMPLE!" He yelled, Artemis rolled her eyes.

"She does not have eyesight, how was she supposed to know this was your temple" She tapped her bow against his armored hand, "Let her go" Ares grumbled standing up and storming off elsewhere.

"I apologise about him" She said helping Astra up, "He often acts before he thinks" Eclipse bounced over with a happy bark rubbing against the Goddesses leg, "Well then who might you be?" She knelt down to stroke the blue wolf.

Auren chuckled, "Thats Eclipse, she's Astras little buddy, helps her eyesight" Artemis seemed almost fascinated by the wolf, "Thats...interesting" A small smile graced her lips when Eclipse nuzzled her cheek.

A fiery explosion was seen in the distance followed by a Phoenix spinning into the sky, "Your mom's on a fiery rampage again Astra" Auren chuckled when Astra groaned, "Again? Well I'm not complaining as long as she's destroying that stuck up rich jerks stuff"

Artemis was wide eyed, "Your mother is a fire bird?!" She practically yelled, Astra almost laughed, "Not technically, she has this little bird buddy called Horus who helps her become one" She coughed, "Just don't tell her that Ares attacked me or he's going to become a fried pancake"

"Ah, do you have siblings?" Artemis asked as the three walked on, "Yep" Astra picked up Eclipse to let the wolf climb onto her shoulder as they went, "Theres Ash, she's like the bossy one of us, in a caring sort of way, and Orion who...uhhh seems to attract birds" She paused then, looking at Auren to continue for her.

"There was Themis but..." She rubbed the back of her head, "He was killed by a stuck up rich guy called Montague" Artemis seemed to frown so hard that her eyes became red, "Him?" Her hands became fists, "I sensed evil within him when I encountered him the other day" She scowled, "I should have finished him off" Auren and Astra seemed taken aback.

"You'd do that?" Auren asked her, to Artemis nodding firmly, "I do not believe in senseless killing, and what this Montague did is unforgiveable" She took a deep breath just for a moment to calm herself.

"If I see him, I will personally see to his execution myself, in honor of your fallen sibling" Artemis whipped out her own personal bow, Astra almost seemed choked up by the promise, "I-uh- thank you" She mumbled.

A horn was heard in the distance, "I must go" Artemis said, "Zeus calls for me, I hope to see you two again someday" She ran up and leapt off into the trees leaving the two girls there.

"She seems nice!" Astra piped up smiling at Auren, She chuckled back ruffling her hair, She definitely does, come on let's head back" She moved on pushing through the bushes.

Astra watched where Artemis had leapt off to, before Eclipse scrambled onto her head with a bark, "You coming?" Auren called shaking her back into reality.

"Oh! yeah coming!" Astra stumbled when Eclipse bounced off leaping into the bushes the girl following after.

"I really hope we see her again" Astra said as she caught up to Auren, the taller woman looking down with a fond smile on her face, "I hope so as well, but we have another God on our side" Astra shot up.

"We do! just hope someone else deals with Ares I'm not wanting to deal with him again" Auren frowned tapping her chin in deep thought, "I might know someone who will" She chuckled at the thought prompting confusion from Astra.

"Who?" She asked, Auren took a deep breath, "How's your dad with dealing with heavyweights?"

"Thats another dealt with" Scientist scoffed as Paradigm stepped back brushing her hands, "Damn right" She replied folding her arms.

"Hey dad!" The two glanced across when Astra and Auren came up to them, the former out of breath, "Hey kiddo what's up?" He asked.

"Theres uhhhh someone we kind of need you to deal with" Astra pressed her thumbs together as he sighed, "Let me guess, big, fully armored and has a low temper, oh and also likes shouting" Paradigm stared at him, "You just described Origin" She said, Scientist laughed, "Yeah, but i know who she's on about, where is he then?"

"Still fighting then huh?" They all looked to the side hearing someone else pipe up, "Rem!" Paradigm perked up and ran over to the medic who chuckled, "Been a while hasn't it?" She said, Zuri snorting, "Surprised we all managed to survive that Big Bang stuff" Her eyes rolled and her shoulders raised, "Then again we've seen worse"

"Oh! someone else tagged along as well" Zuri stumbled when a familiar kitsune jumped onto her head, "Hi guys!" It barked.

"Qui!" Scientist stumbled back when she leapt onto his shoulder, "God you have gotten way bigger than the last time we saw you" Quis ears wiggled, "We heard you'd all found yourselves fighting some gods" Paradigm rolled her eyes in response, "Tell me about it"

"Anyways, how are you all doing?" Remedy asked, Paradigm shuffled on the spot a little, the medic immediately picking up on it, Scientist nudged her to the side a little, "I'll put it short, Themis got killed by some crazed rich guy a few weeks ago, it's uhh been a lot" Zuri scoffed, "What I wouldn't give to smash his face in" She scowled making him chuckle, "You'd have to get in line for that" He said, "Paras been tracking him ever since"

Qui's ears flickered, "We did pick up a rift entry into the Island a few days ago, some crazy angry tiger and a fencing lady, but no crazed rich diamond guy" Astra perked up, "Nisha? she's on the other Island?" Zuri blinked, her head tilting, "Know her?"

The blind girl giggled, "She was uhhh the only one to treat me normally out of that whole society"

"So then how are the Ancients?" Esmeray beeped, climbing onto Paradigms shoulder, "Esme?! No way how are you alive!" Zuri barged forward to the AI who giggled, "Oh you know, time paradoxes, a blonde dork messing up time and space the usual" Remedy rolled her eyes.

They all turned when some...big muscly slurp thing landed right by them, "Uhhh who are you?" Scientist asked looking it up and down, "Because you look an awful lot like Rippley"

"I'm not this Rippley you talk about, he sounds pretty sweet though" The slurp human responded, "Oh great its another one" Paradigm grumbled, "I'm actually Poseidon, pretty sweet right?" He added on.

Auren rolled her own eyes, "Let me guess, your here to take us to that crazy grey haired lightning man" Poseidon blinked, then laughed, "Zeus? No way! he just kills the mood everytime he speaks"

Paradigm tapped Scientists arm and nodded to the side, She slipped down there and he followed, "Alright what's with you" He asked, "Your grumpy I can tell" She just huffed.

"I need to get away from this damn Island" She muttered making him nod slowly, "How about, I go deal with big old grumpy Ares and you go back with Qui to the other Island?" He laughed, "It'll probably only take a minute to deal with" She eyed him a little before nodding.

"Alright, I guess it'll be nice to see them again" Paradigm whistled to Qui who shot up, "Qui I'm coming back with you for a bit" The blonde said taking off her helmet. The Kitsune leapt onto the floor with a thud, "Alrighty! I'm sure the others are gonna be super excited to see you again" She leapt up and snagged Remedys rift device from her wrist.

Dropping it on the floor she pressed her paw on it shooting open a rift infront of the group, "There we go!" Paradigm nudged Scientists arm, "Good luck with the armored grump" She smirked when he snorted, "Oh it won't even take a minute" Scientist mused back, She shook her head and went into the rift after picking Qui up.

"Fighting gods now?" Remedy said after picking up her device, "Well not all of them" Scientist replied shrugging, "Only the ones who want a fight, which I guess excludes you" He looked at Poseidon who simply shrugged at them, "Hey I'm not really interested in all this fighting"

Scientist then nodded slowly, "Riiight okay then, guess I'll go have a tussle with this Ares guy" He picked Maiden up, the small triceratops chirping, "Come on you we have to go deal with some angry ball of metal" He said as he walked off.

Zuri ran after him, "Come on Rem I want to go watch this!" She yelled, The medic shook her head and followed.

Qui leapt down from Paradigms shoulder as the two exited the rift, back on the Island that they'd once lived on, now a home for the Ancients.

"Glad to see the place hasn't changed" Paradigm muttered looking around, "PARADIGM!" The pilot grunted when an animal like figure slammed into her sending her to the floor.

The blonde wheezed, "H-Hi Bloomer" She stuttered, having a giant lizard that was ten times your size ontop of you wasn't the most pleasant experience ever.

"Sorry!" She slipped off and sat down, her tail curling around her feet, "I um, got a small bit excited" Paradigm brushed her armor off with a small chuckle, "Its fine, don't worry about it" She straightened up looking around, "See you've kept the place tidy at least" She smiled when Bloomer did.

"We've tried our best, with the collecting Loopers from outer space, them just showing on the Island, yeah we've tried" Bloomer glanced to the side when Bloom ran over, his tail wagging as fast as it could go.

"Remind me to never ride on you again" She saw Iu slide off the smaller Ancients back with a gag, He'd grown considerably, his fur looking more poofy and his frame more....muscly?

"Awww didn't you like it?" Qui barked running up to him, "No" Iu snapped back shaking his head, "It was horrible" Paradigm rolled her eyes kneeling down, "With all that muscle I'm surprised you couldn't take it" She smirked when he blinked slowly at her, "Oh, hello Paradigm" He sat up, a little stumbled.

"Guessing you came for a visit" He pointed out, The blonde nodding to it, "Yeah, for a few days at least" She glanced up at Bloomer, "Wheres the others?" She asked as they started walking.

The Salamanders tail lifted up, "Aphibia is watching over her domain, Liza is well...everywhere, as for the others, they are...Off doing their duties I suppose" Paradigm frowned, "What about the Defenders?" She knew the four of them were on another Island, one that had all but vanished suddenly without any explanation.

"They are fine" She cooed, "Hinlir actually swung by for a visit, there's a cavern section below the Island here with a rift leading to them, so I presume they were untouched by all of that" Paradigm nodded, That was something she'd have to tell Order, the spy had been constantly asking about Hinlirs whereabouts for a while now.

A low humming sound was heard from the other side of the Island, Paradigms eyes widening as she only now noticed the giant green patch of land attatched to the edge of the Island, a massive green tree at the helm of it all.

"Oh yes, Aphibia has her own little patch of land now" Bloomer giggled her tail swishing from side to side, "Shes quite impressed with it actually"

"It is nice isn't it?" The two turned to see the deer walk down to them, "Hello Paradigm" Her ears flicked, "Its nice to see you again" The blonde smiled, "Likewise, there's one I wanted to ask about though, Sura? we haven't seen her in a while" The two Ancients shared looks.

"The last time we saw her was when she came down to tell us about...well..." Bloomer padded her foot on the ground, Paradigm knowing what she was referring to, "Oh, so you heard about that" She mumbled, much to Aphibias nod, "We did, sadly, and we've been scanning the Island incase that devil of a man escaped here but nothing"

Paradigm scowled at even the mere mention of him, the two larger animals picking up on it, "I can go send her a small message saying your here" Iu piped up, "She'll probably come smashing down here then" The pilot shrugged, "Worth a shot" He nodded leaping off with Qui in tow.

"Ah yes, there was something we wanted to show you when you came next" Aphibia added on her hoof reaching to her domain, "I think you'll like it, and it could aid in that strange fight against those gods we've heard of"

Paradigm snorted holding her arm out so Horus could land, "I dont see why not" She nuzzled the Phoenix's head, "If it helps then let's go" Bloomer kneeled down so she could climb onto her back.

Aphibia nodded, the moss on her antlers glowing a small shade of green, "From what we've heard, this definitely will" She gave a smirk at the end of her lips, "Trust me"

Chapter Text

Paradigm tapped at her arm as she sat on Greenies head, they'd run into the Klombo as well as Haven while on the way to Aphibias little biome and the gentle giant was more than happy to see her again.

"So this other Visitor is from another universe entirely?" Haven asked while sharpening her spear with a rock she had retrieved from the ground.

"You know it" Paradigm responded sitting up, "That and we still have the Panther doesn't have any memory of anybody anymore to deal with" She crossed her arms with a brief sigh to it, "Which I don't know how to deal with" Her brown eyes closed as she fell back against Greenies snout.

"Panthers lost her memory?" Qui meeped sitting up, Her head looking over to Iu who just stated at her, "Right fine I'll see if I can find them" He walked off leaving the two women confused.

"We know a certain someone who could help" Qui giggled, her tail wagging from side to side, "Pre warning she's a little unaccustomed to human ways" Paradigm tilted her head, "How so Qui?" She asked, much to the Kitsunes nervous tail flick.

"Wellll" She was paused when a whirl sounded from a tunnel nearby, "Found her" Iu leapt back over to them, "Paradigm I'd like you to meet Atom" He sat down when a robotic manticore of some sort stomped over, "She's not exactly from our time, the future and whatnot" Atom dipped her head, "It is a pleasure to meet you human life forms" She beeped.

"Iu has informed me that you require assistance with an ally of yours?" Paradigm nodded slipping off Greenies snout, "Memory problem" She started while making her way over, "You know anything about that?" Atom nodded very slowly, "I come from the very distant future, I can assure you I hold the solution to your problem human" She turned opening her robotic wings.

"If you'd please take me to your ally?" Paradigm nodded, whistling for Horus to fly over to her, which he did within a minute, "Thanks you two" She ruffled both Kitsunes fur, much to Quis happiness and Iu's slight annoyance, "Next time I'll bring the others with me" Her eyes rolled, "That is if I can get Orig out of homebase" She gave a small salute and left with Atom in tow.

"I thought we agreed that fighting the angry God was a bad idea?" Order scolded Scientist who flinched a little at the ice pack She pressed to his bruised head.

"Hey he was the one who attacked Astra, he had it coming" He grumbled, cringing again when she huffed and pressed another against his arm, "As fair as that sounds it still wasn't a good idea" A smirk played at her lips, "Aren't you supposed to be the smart well renown genius who thinks before doing things?" Scientist opened his mouth but then came across the realisation that he would not be winning this argument anytime soon.

"Anyways" Order went on, "I heard from Found and Orig earlier, they seem to absolutely love it in Homebase, according to Ray they fit right in with Major" Scientist scoffed crossing his arms, "Orig and the Major are basically the same guy, imagine them both ordering you around" Order cringed as well.

"Ugh yeah" She shook her head, "I can only handle Orig's grumpy attitude for so long" The two paused when Anan slithered in, "Message from the Origin for you" He crawled up to the chair and to her hand, "What does he want now?" She questioned.

"He said that him and The Foundation are planning on coming over here soon" Anan smiled at Scientists annoyed groan, "Something about that they'd scared away half of the rookies in Homebase" As he said that Kaya came in, "Oh they did alright"

"Hey there Kaya" Imagined held out her hand for the AI, which she climbed onto, "How's mr blue grumpy and chunky?" Kaya rolled her optics, "As normal as they could get" Amulet bounced up with a giggle, "Where's Malika?" She twisted her head around, one thing that she could do now apparently.

"She's with Foundation" Kaya continued, "Said they-" She paused when Hunjir pushed his way through the doors.

"Theres a strange robot out here" He whispered, "For the last time Hunjir she's a friend!" Paradigm yelled prompting a chuckle from the three in the room.

The blonde then walked in, "Iu got her for me, said that she's able to help with Panthers memory problem" Order shot up instantly, "Really?" She dropped the ice pack on Scientists face as she stood up, "Count me into whatever insane thing your doing then" Imagined leapt up as well, "Me as well!" She as well leapt over to them.

"Sci?" Paradigm asked, He gave a thumbs up while trying to pry the pack off his face, "You think Orig and Found will? I can ask Vis but I'm sure he'll be for it" Imagined asked the pilot while leaning on the wall.

Hunjir giggled electric buzzing in his horns, "I think I can convince Origin" The redhead laughed giving him a fistbump, "This is why I like you" Scientist then stood up with a huff, "Lets go then, I've been wanting some action for a while now" He followed the girls out while stretching his arms.

"We're coming" Was Origins immediate response as soon as they'd left the room, He picked up Kaya as she leapt over to him, "Did you think you could go on some ridiculous mission without the rest of us?" The general scoffed, yet he didn't seem to even crack a smile.

"What he means is that we'll come to see who Atom really is and if we can trust her" Foundation continued for the Pluxarian, "I have asked the Ancients to keep watch on this Zeus and step in if necessary while we're gone" He stood up stretching his arms out.

"Are you all prepared to leave?" Atom asked prancing up to them, her optics watching every single one of them, "Oh come on of course we are we're immortal beings like really it's not that serious" Scientist started to rant as the group left through the doors.

"Sooooo" Axton coughed, they'd all witnessed whatever those interactions were and yet decided not to say anything, "Party?" Hunjir shot up at the words party, "YEAH!" Jade yelled leaping down from her bunk bed, "I'm calling Piper!" She ran off into another room nearly knocking down Remedy in the process.

"Oh god" She huffed rubbing her forehead, "Stuck with babysitting for some reason" The medic already saw the potential chaos and mess that a group of not yet matured kids were about to cause.

"I'll have my work cut out for me tonight" Remedy already saw the drinks from some stash being pulled out and internally groaned, Yep. it was going to be an absolute nightmare.

"Ugh" a goon grumbled, trying to pull a huge pipe through the sand, "This is ridiculous" He saw his other comrade just sat in the nearby modded truck, feet up against the wheel.

"Aren't you going to help?" He snapped, the one in the truck just waving his hand, "Nah you seem to have this under control" He just huffed and continued trying to pull it, They were supposed to be taking it to the massive shark like ship in the distance, the one that came with the giant sandstorm.

"Why did Megalo park this thing so far away?" The first goon grumbled again prompting the second to shoot up in panic, "Hey hey! don't complain about the boss out here, you don't know If he's got eyes everywhere!" He looked around before leaning closer.

"You remember what happened to the last guy who complained about him don't you?" He froze and shuddered, "Geez..yeah forgot about that" He paused on seeing movement below the sand, "Is there such thing as land sharks?" He looked to the goon in the truck.

"Other than the big metal one? obviously not" He replied, leaning out of the window, "Why? my words got ya scared?" The first shook his head, still staring into the endless mass of sand, "I swear I saw something in the sand" He muttered.

The second laughed loudly swinging out of the truck window, landing onto the ground, "Dont be ridiculous, the chances of there being anything here is really low, we crushed everything that was here when Megalo rammed the big old metal shark onto this island" He leant down and picked up the pipe.

The other one turned around, "I'm telling you I saw something moving" He huffed picking up the end of the pipe behind him. "And why can't we use this truck? it would be way easier"

"Because" The one with the red helmet turned around to face him, "I just got a new paint on it and I do not want it to get ruined" He motioned to the extremely shiny red paint that was on the truck. The first sighed heavily, "You are weird, what kind of wastelander cares about paint?" More movement rustled nearby while the red helmeted one talked away.

"Its just-" He turned to see his comrade frantically looking around again, "For the last time there's NOTHING OUT HERE!" The other spun around, "There IS! and it's-" What he could have said was cut off by him getting dragged under the sand before the other could blink.

"What the-" The red helmet goon scrambled for his shotgun when a tail slapped out of the sand where his ally once stood.

A sandy head emerged out of the sand, it's tail flicking to and fro, "STAY BACK YOU FREAK!" He yelled his finger edging close to the trigger.

But his gun was shot out of his hands by an arrow, "I would suggest you stay back" an oddly dressed woman with galaxy like hair stood there wielding a bow and arrow, The goon started to run toward his truck but a single tail swipe knocked him clean out.

"That was very impressive young alien" The woman jumped down from the pipeline while vanishing her bow into thin air, The alien wiggled his ears, "Thanks Artemis!" He grabbed the pipe in his jaws and started to gnaw and rip at it.

Artemis leaned down to inspect it, "Lets take this back to our allies shall we?" The aliens head shot up, "Okay!" He growled starting to pull it toward the truck.

"Calm down little alien guy" A dragon slammed down right beside them, "I've got it" Artemis chuckled to herself, "For one who's named after a planet you seem to act strangely" The dragon blinked at the goddess, "And your point is?" She mused while picking up the giant pipeline.

The alien blinked looking between the two, "Can we continue this later?" He chirped, his ears flicking up on the distant sounds of trucks and something else he really didn't want to know on what it was.

The dragon scoffed taking off into the air, "Fine" She flew off with the pipe in tow, the other two vanishing into the sand just as a convoy of trucks and a large armored bus pulled up.

A multicolored haired woman leapt off the truck stationed at the front, walking over to the visible pipe mark in the sand, "Great" She huffed. "Damn Islanders"

Order frowned watching the giant ship in the distance, every Wastelander that had seen her- or any of the Seven, had scattered instantly, Guess their victories against demons themselves had spread in words to other Realitys.

They'd tried and failed to find Panther, any sign of her had vanished.

Which meant that whole plan went bust, as did any other hope she had left.

Order played with a small flower crown she'd made, taking flowers from a nearby field to make it, Anan was perched on her shoulder silently watching.

"Well would ya look at who it is" She glanced up hearing a grunt followed by the creaking of a branch, "Hey Bonehead" She muttered, the Skull man chuckling, "Thought you'd be more happy to see me Ords" He mused.

She sighed placing the flower crown on her head, "I've got some stuff going on right now, I'm not in the best of moods" Boneheads expression changed, Rem had told them about what was going on, especially with some Islanders having their memories wiped after that massive universal explosion.

"Ord!" The two looked down heading a call, Imagined was down there arms crossed and waiting, "We're heading to the other Island, you coming?" Order looked over to Bonehead, "Can't say no, what about you Bone?" He laughed standing up, "Of course I am! will be great to go on a little adventure with the seven tin cans again"

Order rolled her eyes at his statement before leaping down beside her sister, "The kids are staying behind to watch the Wastelanders" Imagined explained, "As for us seven, we're heading back home for a bit" It made the other smile.

"Yeah, will be nice to head back to Sanctuary for a bit" She caught Knight as he dropped from an above branch. "Everyone else holds down the fort while we go take a breather" Imagined sighed, "Sounds good if you ask me" Order rolled her eyes at her sisters remark, "You say that, but Found will probably find some way to put us to work"

Aphibias ear flickered when she heard the sounds of a rift opening, her head tilting in slight surprise to see the Seven come through and a few of their friends, "Well I didn't expect you all to come back for a visit" She lowered her head.

Scientist scoffed, "Theres too much crazy, we need a break from it all" His remark made the deer shake her head.

"Well, Sanctuary is over there for you, Haven and Greenie have been partaking in its upkeep until you returned" the Klombo stomped over and slapped her tounge onto Origins helmet.

"Gross" He muttered, taking a data pad fron Foundation, "I'm going to deal with our defences, I'll be back soon" He quickly left a dumbfounded Scientist stood there.

"Wh- defenses?! I thought we came here to get away from that stuff" Foundation glanced over at the remaining members, "Thats one thing, we're setting up shop back here again, it's more of an advantage to have two bases than one"

"And besides" a tail fluttered over the groups heads, "Its no fun when your not here" Order perked up, "Hinlir!' She called, sure enough the defender was crouched there, her tail waving around.

"Heard you were coming, decided to come over and say hi" She chuckled standing upright, "I assume it's for a reason?" Paradigm bit her lip, "You could say that...there's a big ship on the other Island, threatening to tear it apart when it's refuelled" Aphibias ears twitched at the explanation.

"Well then, it appears to be like old times doesn't it?" She trotted over to a tree gently butting her antlers against it. The very top of it opened to a huge section of silver and gold branches.

"Since there's no Zero Point, this is what's holding the bubble surrounding the Islands together" Aphibia explained as she stared at it, "It goes so does all of this" Scientist lifted up his arm, a blue beam scanning the tree, "You weren't kidding Aphi, these readings are going nuts" He whistled standing back.

When he turned back around, Bloomer, Bloom, Qui and Iu were there, "God you guys just come out of nowhere don't you?" He puffed out, "Thats all part of the fun" Liza chirped, a chuckle coming out of her when he screamed.

"Speaking of fun" Imagined had returned from her apparent sneak off carrying a blanket and a basket, "I think we should have a little party, like old times" Qui leapt up onto her shoulders making Joker screech, "YEAH!"

Paradigm caught one of the blankets Imagined threw over, "I dont see the problem" She chucked another to Remedy, "What about 8 Ball?" The medic seemed to turn solemn, "He's busy, told me he was- ahem, looking for justice against wastelanders or something" She shook her head, "He's just being himself" Paradigm watched Horus fly off with Savior scrambling over to the other minis.

"Well" Imagined slammed down a large basket making Visitor and Tristy jump in fright, "Can we eat this?" Bloom sniffed at it, his nose scrunching up.

"Smells weird" He stepped back when Torin picked it up with a grunt, "Its cheese" She mused to the even now more confused Ancient, "Ch..eese?" He blinked staring at the floor like he'd found some mystical secret.

She stepped over Violet, Maiden and Granite chasing each other around the area, "Okay I think!" Qui leapt onto Aphibias head to gain higher ground so she was heard, "We should go get the two grumpies over here!" Imagined immediately stood up on her request, "I'll do it! come on Bloom let's go drag them out" Bloom stepped away from his staring at the cheese basket and followed her.

Paradigm grunted siting down next to Scientist who was tapping at his gauntlet, "Despite our now pledge to protect the strange tree, I think it was a great idea to come back" He then scoffed rolling his eyes.

"God knows we needed it" He cracked open a can to take a swing out of, the pilot giggled at him, "Oh come on its nice to have everyone back together again" She leaned forward onto her knees.

"I suppose it won't hurt if we stay a while" Paradigm added on, allowing Iu to climb onto her lap and curl up, "Alright" Scientist caved in with a sigh.

"I'm still running tests on that tree though" He whispered, the blonde raising a smug brow as well as the small smirk on the edge of her lips, "You can try" She chucked a small bit of cheese at Savior who snapped it up into his mouth.

"She'll either blast you or kick you" Esmeray mused, Amulet gasping out loud at her comment, "Not to Scientist right?!" She screeched.

The pilot and inventor shared glances but shrugged, "Some things really don't change at all do they" Paradigm giggled watching the two AI start to argue.

Scientist laughed, "Nope! but we like crazy, it's basically our job" His laugh died down to an amused chuckle, "Our stupidly loveable crazy job"

Ash grumbled drumming her hand against the sand as the watched the giant shark like ship in the distance, Tiny was hovering next to her, the small white shell twitching.

"Why's it so quiet around here lately, it's like mom and dad always take the fun with them" Tiny blinked at Ash's statement, "You mean the scary overwordly horrors? because we get those all the time" The girl chuckled tapping the top of her shell. "I know, makes me want to go over there just to get some action"

"Whats that?" Tiny beeped prompting Ash to look through the binoculars to where she was looking, "The hell is that?" She muttered, It was some strange eight legged Beast was crawling along the sand, and judging by the helmets stuck to its back it obviously took some victims.

"Looks gross" Ash grumbled, it was still crawling along and hadn't noticed them yet, it's head shot up toward the ship and it scurried off.

"Should we go after it?" Tiny asked turning to the girl who sat up, "Dont see why not, just need a way of getting up there" Both jumped as a large red dragon slammed down opening its wing, "Need a ride?" Ash perked up, "Embal! long time no see!" She leapt onto the dragons back as she took off into the air. "Thought I'd drop by for a visit" The dragon cooed, smoke coming from her snout.

"Didn't realise you were planning a heist, wheres the Seven? isn't that Orders thing?" Ash shrugged, "Off on a mission" She replied, Embal laughing loudly looking down for a place to land on the ship, "Glad to see they are back in the mission game" She dove down opening her wings to land on the tail end of the ship.

"What are you looking for anyways?" She asked as Ash slipped off her back onto the ship, "Weird eight legged thing came up here" The girl replied checking the rifle in her hands, "Was bored so wanted to follow it up here, might have ties with Megalo freak" Tiny blinked hovering beside her, "Like the Wanderer?" She cooed.

The girl clicked her fingers at her, "Exactly" Ash turned to the dragon, "keep watch, tell us if any guards come around" Embal gave a nod taking off back into the aid to avoid getting found.

Ash took a deep breath, summoning a flaming gun into her hands, "Dont think they'll try and test the power of molten lava anyways right?" She smirked at Tiny who gave a little giggle. "too right!" She beeped phasing away into hiding and safety.

A guard came wandering around the corner as she said that, clearly bored, until the molten lava gun was held to his face, "Hey there pal" Ash mused, a smirk creeping onto her face, "You haven't happened to see an eight legged creature come up here have you?" The guard frowned at her until he saw something further up that made him go pale.

It wasn't even a second later did he faint making Ash frown, "Thanks Hunji" She rolled her eyes as the Pluxarian leapt down, his fur a small bit ruffled, "Were we not eliminating them?" He asked, his blue eyes wide in confusion it made her giggle.

"We're interrogating this time" She made the solar gun vanish into thin air, Hunjir perked up his tail flicking, "I can help!" He turned and shot around the corner within the instant.

"Going solo for a bit?" Ash smiled hearing the voice of Torin above, the woman sat on one of the pillars, "You could say that, weren't you with everyone else?" The woman shrugged leaping down, "I came back for a bit, I think something may be amiss with the strange thing you saw"

Ash raised a brow, "You mean interdimensional menace number what could only be one hundred?" Torin snorted rummaging in her pocket, "Probably more knowing those seven" She flicked out a small square shaped device, "I also came back to look for Panther, for Orders sake"

"Did you say Panther?" Embal lowered her head from above, "Thats pretty weird because I saw her in our place the other day" Ash and Torin shared looks, "What was she doing there?" The former asked but the dragon flapped her wings, "Not sure, I saw her going around but then didn't see her again after that" Torin frowned tapping her chin.

"She must be travelling across the Realities, but...why?" Hunjir then skidded to a halt holding what could only be Megalo Don in his tail, "Hunjir where did you get him from!" Ash yelled grabbing her solar gun from the air at the large man's enraged shouting.

"I went and found someone for interrogation!" He cooed back, "YOU WONT GET ANYTHING OUT OF ME!" The man yelled, kicking invain against the Pluxarians tail.

"Yeah sure, what was the weird creature I saw earlier then?" Ash noticed he stilled a little, So he did know something, "Dont hide it, I know your tricks" She flicked at her flaring gun, "Or we get a little target practice" He stares at it before letting out an enraged snarl.

"Fine" He growled, "I dont know what it is, only that it showed up one day and said something about a weird tree that it wanted" Megalo scoffed turning his head away.

"Other than that I don't have anything else to tell you" Torin straightened up suddenly, "Strange tree....Aphibias tree?" Ash and Hunjir looked over, "She has a new one?" The woman nodded clicking her fingers, "A whole biome actually, the Seven are helping to protect it, this thing can't be the only one" She sighed.

"Going from experience there's bound to be more" Ash grumbled to herself, "So much for a nice rest, we should go pre warn the others" Embal lowered her wing down letting the three climb on as well as smacking Megalo into a pillar as she took off.

"Oh great another" Auren sighed rubbing her forehead, "Can't we catch a break?" Astra giggled at her comment petting at the feathers of one of Orions bird friends, a small red parrot to be exact.

"For our parents this was an everyday occurrence" Ash piped up, She was lifting up a few box loads of paper Torin had bought in, "And you know, they are at the other place" Tiny beeped scanning the papers inside jumbling it into her memory banks.

"Other you has some really neat help huh Visitor" Saturn muttered to him, He only gave a grunt patting her arm, Niva sat in Saturn's lap smacking some action toys together that Axton had found and brought in.

"Got to say I like this girl though" a smile graced her features, her hand gently brushing through the smaller girls silky hair.

The Visitor hummed only watching with his arms crossed.

Meanwhile Hunjir was outside sniffing around the Wasteland, He couldn't help but feel like he knew what that eight legged thing was, but it wasn't clicking.

His tail waved around in the air as he pranced around the very edges of the sand, Every scent of it had practically gone by now, like it was never here.

"Awww!" His head snapped up and he meeped when the familiar pink shape of Leelah smacked into him, "Hi Hunjir! what are you doing out here?" He blinked for a moment as if processing it, "Looking for something" He chirped making her jump up. "I can help! I've been alllll around the Island lately" She pranced forward looking around.

"Ash saw it earlier" He walked up beside her, his tail swishing around, "It had eight legs and keeps hanging out in the Wasteland" Leelah frowned tapping her chin with the cloud arm she possessed. "Can't say I've seen that" She jumped up, "But we can always look!" His eyes slowly blinked staring at her until he heard a low growl.

Hunjir straightened and saw the exact creature there, staring right at them, Leelah noticed as well and practically froze in her tracks.

It snarled, clicks coming from its throat as it slowly crawled forward, Hunjir crawling at it infront of Leelah as a defense.

"Thats freaky" The girl whispered to him, His ear flicked in acknowledgement but he had his eyes on whatever this thing was, it seemed fast, really fast considering neither saw it even coming from a distance.

He growled even more when two others came out of the bushes, "Bring it on" He snarled, purple lightning crackling from his fur, and a chuckle coming from him, "I've been wanting a fight for a while anyways"

"HOLY F-" Ash ducked when the Beast smashed its head into the metal right above her, Embal swooped down picking her up to get some distance away from its attacks.

"Where the hell did this thing come from?!" She yelled as the dragon poured down fire on several more, "Dont know!" Embal replied, "But we should go check in on your crazy alien boyfriend" Her tail pointed toward where there was a Purple aura shining.

"Fair point!" Ash swung up onto her back with a puff; "Lets go, and I'll call for backup from everyone else at base"

"WOO!" Auren groaned seeing the white outfitted woman swipe at several of the Beasts as she arrived with Astra and Artemis, "Shes crazy" She grumbled under her breath.

"But anyways" Auren huffed, "Where was Ashs call for help coming from?" Astra closed her eyes with a frown, "Everywhere, these weird old things are invading from everywhere" Artemis scoffed readying her bow, "Then it appears we have our work cut out for us"

Another rampaging beast was slammed down by Saturn in the form of a dragon, "You tell me!" She laughed spinning around to catch Visitor when he tell to land on her head, "This is way more fun than what we deal with back in our place" He only gave a shrug to her words.

"Riiight" Auren stabbed another through its head when it dared venture close. "I would suggest contacting your parents for help" Artemis suggested reloading her bow, "We are going to become overrun at some point" Auren and Astra nodded to each other, "I'm on it" The latter said tapping on a device strapped to her wrist.

"Huh, pretty good idea there" Saturn cooed staring at the device, "I should get one of those" Astra sighed, "Just let me work!" She snapped making Auren sort shaking her head with a smile, "Just like your mom Astri"

Astra laughed nervously and a blush flickered up on her cheeks at the nickname, She perked up not even a second later at the familiar sound of a ping of acknowledgement to the message she sent, "They are on their way!" She whistled to Eclipse who leapt over with a bark chucking a weapon to her hands.

Auren let out a hum seeing more demon like creatures emerge from the ground in the distance, "Then let's hope we can hold out until then"

Hunjir let off a snarl ripping the tail from a demon which screeched in pain scrambling away, "Woah your so strong" Leelah giggled, she had a weapon in her own hands, mainly found on the floor nearby.

He chirped spitting out the tail, "It comes with being an alien prince" He turned just in time to wrap his tail around the neck of one pouncing and slam it to the floor.

Hunjir practically jumped when a giant green foot came down crushing it instantly, "WOO!" Imagined leapt off its back and loaded a rifle in her hands, "Hey there Hunjir!" She ruffled his fur much to his grumble before saluting Leelah.

"Astra called us for help, luckily we weren't really doing anything" She gave a smirk, "And I was bored" Order rolled her eyes at her sister kicking another beast to the floor, "Thanks Greenie" She said to the large creature behind her, "Go find Jade and Axton" The Klombo nodded moving away into the trees.

"Soooo how much is overrun? A little..all.." Imagined asked, Hunjir snorted, "All" Imagined cringed, her nose scrunching up, "Think we'll need more help?" Her sister raised a brow, "I've already called for it" She tapped her comms away, "The Legends are on route as we speak"

Paradigm groaned gunning down more demons as they rampaged through the bushes, "More weird demons as ever" She grumbled, leaning against Scientists back as she shot almost lazily at them but with complete accuracy.

"What are we thinking, this Doom guy we heard about the reason?" Scientist asked her, only looking over his shoulder slightly, "If he's anything like during the war on the other island then hes not a massive problem" Her eyes narrowed up at the distant tower, "That says otherwise"

"What did Hope say again?" He mused, slamming his arm blade into the chest of a demon that launched at him, "Something about him making some big old scary armor?" He laughed loudly, "Ooooo how terrifying, big bad armor" Paradigm nudged him in the back with a scowl, "Did you sleep through the part when she said he powered himself up with the very box Bloodhound said was dangerous?" He opened his mouth but paused.

"Okay fair point" Scientist ducked when Horus set off a plume of fire at one that leapt down from the above treeline, "Whew! close one" He puffed, saluting the bird which screeched back. "So what are we thinking is sending these things?" He spun around grabbing one by the neck as it leapt at him.

Paradigm rolled her eyes doing the same, "Big bug, eight arms" She replied making him scoff, "Well I'm going with giant flying abomination with four legs" He stabbed his arm blade into one flailing on the floor.

"Nothing we haven't faced before though" Scientist laughed, "And we've seen a lot" Paradigm glanced over with a face, "You could say that" She boosted over with her jets and grabbed his helmeted face, "Oh and is that a challenge?" He mused back.

Paradigm smirked, "Maybe, or maybe not" A cough came from close by which only made her sigh and move away, "As much as i know you want to share affection" Origin snapped as he walked over wielding his own usual rifle.

"The middle of the battlefield isn't exactly the best place" Scientist groaned throwing out his arms at the thinning shadows, "Lighten up a bit would you?" He half yelled half grumbled, "The fights practically done" Paradigm however frowned looking at the scattered bodies of shadow creatures.

"I dont think it is Sci" She said back right as her visor started beeping, and when it did, it was never good.

"Theres good news and bad news" Origin said as he walked up to them, one hand with his seven branded rifle and the other against his helmet, "The good news is that all hostiles are clear" He huffed, "The bad news is that we know what these things were after" Paradigm and Scientist shared looks.

"Let me guess" He started, "The tree" Origin nodded, "The tree, luckily none of them got the location, but they'll regrow their numbers and keep attacking until they find out where it is" Paradigm frowned under her helmet.

"So we hold the line?" She asked, but he shook his head, "Our allies can hold the line here, repel the attacks, While we go back to the Island and secure as much of it as possible if our defences here fail" Scientist threw his rifle onto his back and crossed his arms.

"So, your saying we're the last defence?" He scoffed, "I much preferred being the frontlines" Origin shot him a look, "Our priority is to guard the tree, may I remind you if it falls so does everything else?" He scowled as he pressed a button opening a rift in thin air.

Paradigm waved her hand, "I'll be there soon, I want to brief the Legends as they get here" Both gave her nods and left through the rift before it closed completely.

Horus landed on her shoulder with a chirp, "I know i know, you don't like me being on my own" She rolled her eyes, "Not like any goods come out of it"

"Hah! you call those fighting skills?" The pilot suppressed a scowl at the sound of the guy she did NOT want to he dealing with right now.

"Ares what the hell do you want?" She snapped at him as he stepped into the clearing, weapons in hand, "To fight these demons!" He yelled back, "Since your mortal hands don't seem to be very good at it" Horus screeched at his sentence his wings flapping in defence.

"As long as your not intending on beating up anymore of the people I care about then fine" Paradigm snarled, the God only shrugging and stomping away.

Horus chirped flapping his wings to which she shrugged, "I dont trust him either, as one of Zeus' followers but" She sighed kicking a shadows body away, "We have some work to do"

Chapter Text

The instant they stepped back onto the Island everything was already chaos, as in the planning for an attack kind of chaos.

"Word got around" Order muttered stuffing another mag into her rifle in the case any demons followed them

"You think the kids will be able to hold the fort back there?" Scientist asked, mostly for himself, "They've kicked butt before they'll be fine" Imagined replied lifting her foot up to let a small baby Klombo run by.

"Ah right" She muttered, "Klombo mating season" Aphibia walked over, her horns shining green, a sign her protective power was active at full strength.

"They are all safe in my domain, but the children are...otherwise" Order hummed, "Need me to round them up?" She asked the large deer. "No no, the parents will in time, for now we must focus on defences" Origin stepped forward then, "I'll handle that" Foundation turned to the other Seven.

"Everyone spread out and help secure the Island, if we need help call for it" He ordered, each of them quickly left to do just that.

"Hey it's red eyes!" Paradigm suppressed a groan but smiled turning around, "Glad you guys could make it" She walked over to the group of Legends.

"Not everyone could but we grabbed all we could" Wraith explained with a light shrug, "Is everyone else helping?" Paradigm puffed looking at the defence works, "Thats to be determined, but with how many demons those were its likely"

Bangalore stepped forward patting her arm, "Just tell us where we need to be and we'll do it" Paradigm gave a smile, "Right then, let's get to work, rifts have been playing up lately too" She stopped as a larger than normal rift butterfly flew past, "That as well"

"Are they supposed to be that big?" Wraith asked watching it as it fluttered around, "Nope" Paradigm replied, "Its why we're on such high alert"

"Place has been too weird lately" She rolled her eyes mostly sarcastically, "Can't wait to get off this rock and go actually relax" Mirage hummed walking round to her side, "My bars always open you know" Paradigm chuckled at him, "Thanks, im sure Sci would love a uhhh drink or two" She coughed, "maybe more"

The pilot turned looking around, "Foundation just said to secure as much of the place as possible, you know just as precautions" Pathfinder perked up turning his head to the side, "Just like the time we saved you!" He chimed making her nod without saying anything.

"I think he has a plan" She threw her arm back against a tree she was standing next to, "Just don't know what it is yet" She hummed when her comms started pinging pressing two fingers against her helmets side.

"Give it to me Origin" She said leaning her back against the tree, "Foundation said he has an idea, but it involves us heading to another Reality to do it" Paradigm raised a brow under her helm, "Again?"

"Yes, again. We have Hope and Jones helping in the plan but it could take a while to put into action" Paradigm nodded, because of course it would. different Reality plans always took months to do.

"Alright, I got it Origin" Paradigm signalled to the group nearby who got the message and split off to the depths of the Island, "Tell me that this'll be worth it this time?" Origin gave her a gruff hum which really told her all she needed to know.

Horus flew down from above the treeline landing down with a small hop on her shoulder, "Sounds like we're heading to another Reality soon buddy" She said to the Phoenix who chirped flapping his wings producing sparks of fire.

"Again?" Esmeray beeped emerging from the hatch in the back of her suit, "I thought we were done doing all of that" Paradigm laughed lifting up a hand to pet the small robots head, "Come on Esme, it's our jobs, thought you loved interdimensional travel?" The AI sighed slumping down knocking her head against the pilots shoulder. "Not when it's so often"

"Paradigm?" She perked up activating her comms again, "Hey there Sci" She said while kicking a rock by her foot about, "Foundation just said we could kick back for a bit, said that weird old plan of his could take a good few months to activate or whatever"

"Ugh thank goodness!" Esmeray chimed making both chuckle, "I'm rounding up patrol then I'll be over there" Paradigm said to him before switching the comms off and her helmets display to scout mode.

"You don't seem worried about Ash and Astra much" Esmeray beeped watching the pilot poke around at some old metal laying on the ground, "Ash has been through more than I can count" Paradigm started, lifting a hand to nuzzle the AI with her fingers, "And Astra has Auren they'll be fine" Horus gave an affirming chirp flapping his wings seemingly in encouragement.

"Right now we get to relax for a bit before that plan of Foundations takes place" Paradigm could just spot the familiar outline of Panther in the distance, wait- Panther?

She stood upright, her display zooming in to where the former IO spy was standing right atop an electrical pole by the road, "Whats she doing here?" Esmeray whispered like the other could hear her talk from that distance.

"Not sure, but ping Anan and let him know" The AI saluted leaping into the hatch on the back of her suit while she went to activate her jet boots to head over to the other side of the Island.

Scientist heard the sounds of jet boots landing yet didn't look up from the work he was doing on the broken down robots wing.

"Glad you could finally join me" He mused taking a glance up to Paradigm right as she was untying her hair free from the plait letting it fall down behind her head.

Esmeray hopped off her arm to the desk next to Amulet who was powered down asleep as her suit flickered away to her blue and red jumpsuit underneath.

"Had to finish off patrol just to please Origin at least" She swiped a spanner off the hook placed neatly on the wall and grabbed a welder with her other hand. "You been doing this all day?" Paradigm asked placing a hand on the powered down robots side.

"Not for long" Scientist responded leaning back with a deep huff sweat beading his forehead, "Poor old Terano here really took a beating" The robotic dino raised his head, optics dimmed but on.

"Sorry big guy" Paradigm patted his chest, "We'll get you fixed up soon enough" He chirped once laying his head back down on the floor powering off again.

Esmeray was sat scanning his frame, "He's got so much damage to his systems as well, how do you fix that?" Paradigm chuckled swinging the spanner around in her hands, "They don't call us the technicians of the Seven for no reason you know" Scientist nodded her way, "Shes right, this is nothing compared to some of the stuff we've had to build in the past"

The little AI merely shrugged making her way back up to the safety of the desk, way better to be up here than down there if something blew up in their faces.

"Paradigm? Scientist?" Bloomer stuck her head into the workshop, pink frills flicking about as she searched for them, "Here Bloomer!" Paradigm called catching the large lizards attention, "There you are! I needed to tell you both something" She sat down just outside but sticking her head in to talk.

Paradigm leaned back against Teranos tucked in wing sipping out of a blue seven themed mug that Horus had brought over for her, "Its not work is it? like death defying work?" Bloomer laughed loudly shaking her head raising her foot.

"Oh certainly not, just information a friend of mine contacted me from a Reality the Foundation is looking into" Scientist raised a brow looking up, "Friend of yours?" Bloomer nodded to him, "Yes, he's not an ancient in any way or another God like us, just a large turtle who lives there" Paradigm chuckled stepping forward over the wing.

"Sounds nice" She mused swinging the spanner around in her free hand, "Oh he is, but he says he senses something approaching the Island he lives on, and I'm not one to dismiss that" Paradigm frowned drumming the end of the spanner against Teranos metal frame but not enough to wake him.

"Does sound a bit worrying" She flicked the spanner around her palm up to point to Bloomer, "I'll ask Hope and Jones to look into it once they are done on the Island, they are our...." She waved her tool around while thinking of literally anything to say.

"Command out in the field when we're not there?" Scientist finished for her chuckling at the way the blonde bowed to him in her usual overdramatic fashion, "I see" Bloomer rolled her eyes turning to leave, "I'll let him know to look for those two then" She smiled at them then leapt off across the Island leaving the two to get back to their work.

"Think those two can handle another Reality?" Scientist asked up to Paradigm seeing she'd walked back over and had started fixing a new screw into the side of the robots wing.

"Jones is a smart guy, he's been with us long enough to know what'll happen" She shrugged giving a grunt when the screw stalled in its tracks, "I just need the break for a while" Scientist smirked back at her, "calm before the storm then?"

Paradigm smirked right back throwing the spanner down to poke him on the nose, "You got it on point Sci" The two then fell into a rhythm of working and talking on the odd occasion.

With the strange demons repelled for now on the Island and it under watch by the Underground, They could actually relax until Foundations big plan got put into place.

After that? Well depending on what it was it would be back to work ensuring Reality didn't break down again.

Which would be easier if they knew what happened to the Zero Point in the first place, and hopefully, a very big hopefully, they'd be able to find it in time before anyone else did.
