Summary
This is the kind of the work someone does when they're so tired of the devs and decide to take the story into their own hands. A sort of mish-mash of the first few years of the Fortnite storyline, mainly focusing on the Imagined Order/the Seven conflict of Chapter 3, with Jonesy's character arc from Chapter 2 and the external plot and setting of Chapter 1. It's nothing horribly niche, especially the pairings, but it's something I really really love writing and put a lot of thought into. Updates will most likely be really slow because of school, but this is more of a passion project that I don't expect to get much attention because... it's a Fortnite fanfic... that doesn't include Midas. That's not to say I won't one day make a sequel that does teehee.

Jones had started feeling comfortable on Helios. He had made allies, kept his mouth shut regarding his past and had been doing well against all those new enemies the island kept throwing at him. If only things could have stayed that way.
In whish the zero point throws Jones back in his office at the island management facility, and the latter has to figure out how to deal once again with the consequences of time travel, for the better hopefully.

Summary
Love makes fools of us all. For someone like Midas, it was a sweet, fleeting thing, always kept just out of reach for fear of snuffing out its addictive spell. But Jones made a selfish creature of him, one that found himself clinging to a man he didn’t deserve to have. If he ever realized the kind of person Midas was, he’d leave him. Perhaps he’d be better off if he did.
For Jones, Midas was a puzzle to unravel, with each layer peeling back to reveal more of his imperfections and closely guarded secrets. He wished to commit all of him to memory, to accept the good with the bad. Was there anything more intimate than knowing someone? Like it or not, Jones would remain by his side through the worst of it all.
A fic about getting back together and staying together, with the common thread of Jones learning to love Midas through each of his agents.
