“It’s like we’re starting from scratch in this wack place!” a short red emotion roared. It was Anger, specifically a certain jester’s Anger. “How could all those YEARS of memories just, disappear after she put on that damn headset?!” Anger added. “Calm down…maybe the memories got lost in Long Term?” a taller, yellow emotion said. She was Pomni’s Joy. “But Joy, nothing could be recalled. We all tried!” A blue figure, Pomni’s Sadness exclaimed. “Even the core memories are gone.” she added, as she gestured to the empty core memory holder. “I knew we should have left that headset alone!” a purple nerve, Pomni’s Fear said. “Good going genius. Because of the red brick, she has no memories!” a green emotion, Pomni’s Disgust, said.
“The few memories we have are recent.” Sadness said. She then walked up to the console, and proceeded to recall a memory of Pomni talking to a glitched-out rag-doll, Ragatha.
Once the memory finished, Sadness ejected it and put it in the recall tube, sending it back to Long Term Memory. Even though now, there wasn’t much in Long Term.
“Hopefully we don’t have to deal with more of those….abstracted things. They were terrifying!” Fear said.
