“Holy shit, Will got a love letter!” El’s attention peaks immediately. “A what?” She leans in to read over Max’s shoulder. “No way!”
“G-guys it’s not that big of a deal!” Please just let it go.
“It is a big deal! I wish I got a letter.” El squeals. She’s always been a little bit of a hopeless romantic. “Unfortunately for us, boys aren’t sweet enough to write things like this.” Max snickers along with her. Pulling the page up and clearing her throat she recites “‘I would fall to your gaze like Icarus to the sun—’” Will snatches the paper back before she can finish the sentence. “Quit it. I don’t want to talk about it.”
A love letter arrives in Will's locker. Upon reading it he's stricken with an uncanny familiarity at the unrequited feelings being expressed on the paper and makes it his mission to find the girl behind it.
