Today though, it feels to Charlie like Babe had stepped out of line. Had he questioned whether Charlie was really an Alpha? Babe could be a lot of things to Charlie, but he wasn’t usually intentionally cruel.
Which means he really had believed at that point that Charlie wasn’t Alpha enough. Alpha enough for Babe that is, a little voice in his head taunts him.
