How can I trust you?

Summary:

Who are these voices? Looking closer, I see they are… turtles? A small one, and a slightly larger one.

“Bravo, Mikey!” so, the small one is named Mikey.

The turtle and Mikey approach my main console.

“Huh. There’s no buttons or computers or anything. Just a lot of drippy, ooey gooey disgustingness. I don’t know how to hack in—Oh, God. I know what I have to do.”

Notes:

I found the script for the movie, I will edit it here and there but keep most of it. Here is the script: https://turtlepedia.fandom.com/wiki/Rise_of_the_Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles:_The_Movie/Transcript

Chapter Text

I heard voices by me. Voices? They don’t sound like the Kraang. Aside from the Kraang's, I haven't heard a voice in years.

Listening in, I overhear, “So how do we hack this thing?”

Are they talking about me? I’m not a thing!

One of my tentacles creeps behind the two(?) voices.

“Uh, best guess, main console? Unfortunately, it’s ocupado.”

My tentacle slams down into the voices, causing them to fall from the platform to the floor. Krang Three turns to the voices, raising more tentacles to attack.

I can’t control myself. I want to talk to the voices. Not attack them. I am curious about them. Another reason why I hate the Kraang.

“Uh, new plan: run!” I hear one of the voices yell.

Kraang Three wraps my tentacle around one of them and lifts them into the air.

The other dodges it by hiding in its shell(?), causing my tentacle to swat Kraang Three out of my main console.

What? What are they doing?

Mikey asks, “What?”

The other one, gagging, turning away “No, no, I don’t think I can do this.”

“What are you talking about? Oh, no... That’s... so gross!” Mikey releases what the other one was talking about. I don’t understand though.

“I can’t do it!”

Mikey replies, “I believe in you!”

“Ah, it’s my worst nightmare!” What is?

Mikey responds with, “I know!”

“I’m doing it! I’m doing it!”

Then they stick their hands into my main console. My tentacles automatically wrap around their arms. Oh, they were talking about me. Wait… Hey!

Are they trying to control me? A new helmsman? I haven’t had a helmsman that wasn’t a Kraang before.

They began to power me as more of my tentacles cover their arms.

“It’s not working. I need more of a connection. Mikey, take off my Battle Shell.” Battle shell? A shell for battle?

Mikey immediately responds, “No, you’re too vulnerable with just your softshell.”

“There’s no time! Hurry!”

Mikey removes their Battle Shell, then leaning backward,  their carapace is grabbed by my main console tentacles. They are sucked into me.

“Donnie?” Mikey asks, with no response. Donnie. Is that my new helmsman‘s name? /span>

The sound makes Mikey yelp and look. Kraang Three leaps out of the rubble and lunges, but he is pinned to my walls by several of my tentacles.

Donnie then responds with, “Mikey, I am... a space ship! Finally, man and machine entwixed in perfect bionic synergy!

I decide to call him.

“Who’s there?” I hear Donnie call out.

It’s me. The Technodrome.

“Wha- how? I thought you were a ship?” They asks.

I wasn’t always a ship. Are you my new helmsman? How are you a turtle? What’s the world like?

“Am I your… what? You aren’t a Kraang, are you? And you weren’t always a spaceship?”

Are you my new helmsman? I really hope you are. And No! I hate the Kraang, but I’m their ship.

“And what did you mean you weren’t always a spaceship?”

You’re a curious one, aren’t you? I like you

I feel this.. feeling in me. What is this? This is an unfamiliar feeling, and I’m going to change it! I wrap my tentacles around them, curious. Looking through their memories, I see what makes them happy and sad. Their likes and dislikes. Everything about them. Then, I unwrap my tentacles from them.

“What was that about?” they ask, uncomfortable.

I understand why. They aren’t covered in tentacles, like me or a Kraang, so it must feel slimy and weird. I decided to make them comfortable. I rewrap my tentacles around them, but this time, send them my memories. Everything I knew, from science, to history, to all the things I saw flying around. Everything about me.

I see them more relax. Them remember. ‘Leo needs me to move the ship to the portal.’

The portal? The prison? No! Why would I go back there? I need to change my aviator’s mind!

No, that is prison. Why would I go back?

I see them look shocked, then, “Can you… read my mind?”

As long as I’m attached to you, yes.

‘I need to get these tendencies off of me.’

Why? I feel… betrayed. I tighten my grip on them.

We stay here, safe.

“No! What about my family? I need you to go to the portal.”

No portal. Can’t I stay with you?

“Wh… what? No! I need you to get the portal!”

‘If I can’t get this right, Leo is going to be so pissed at me.’

He’s being ordered to do this? Leo.

Then, the throne room eyeball’s pupil contracts.

Krang One shouts, “How dare you desecrate Krang’s ship!”

Black of my tentacles grabs Mikey and tries tearing my helmsman’s body from the main console. I hold a tight grip on them, but they end up getting ripped out of control over me. Before they do, I plant a bit of me into his soft shell.

Go into the portal, the portal. I start moving to the portal. I hear the Kraang yell at me, but I ignore it. I go into the portal, then it closes. At least, a piece of me is with my helmsman.
