Summary
Vash turns to Wolfwood and holds out a small jar neatly filled with geraniums. He crowds Wolfwood’s space, leaving him nowhere to go.
“W-What’s that for?”
“It’s for you!”
Wolfwood awkwardly takes it, if only because Vash keeps insisting. “I got those flowers for you. Uh, as payment,” he adds weakly.
“You brought back so many I don’t know where to put them all! Besides, they’ll look nice in your apartment. Flowers always brighten up a room.”
“I’m… not good at taking care of flowers, blondie.”
Vash smiles, his voice soft: “I think you’re very good at taking care of things that matter to you.”

Wolfwood asks Vash to help him locate his brother, but can’t find it in him to leave even after days, and months, have passed. A red string au with some florist tropes and a lot of gentle pining.
