“Dude, what the hell happened to you?”
“I fell off my snowboard,” Ian says sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head with his left hand awkwardly.
“Why didn’t you tell me on the phone?” Anthony asks, inspecting Ian’s arm. “It’s broken?”
“Not my arm,” Ian says, “I just fractured my wrist.” He wriggles a few fingers that poke out from the cast as if to prove he still has movement, “and I didn’t tell you because I was embarrassed.”
“So, you waited until you came back where I can make fun of you in person.”
