Notes:

Actually we have no problem with this show. We think it's neither too good nor too bad. We think that one of the biggest wrong WB made is that this series is aimed more at children rather than youth and adults. Other than that, some of the bad guys are not good either. Especially in season 2. This story will be more "Young Justice" style. So that means everything is more serious. a darker theme, bad guys more bad. Our native language is not English. Therefore there may be spelling errors.

WB Animation intro

Man Without Hats - Safety Dance

An empty stage, the lights turned on. A duck in a white suit stood with his back turned in the middle of the stage with a microphone in his hand.

"We can dance if we want to
We've got all your life and mine..."

Said Duck turning to face us.

"As long as we abuse it, never gonna lose it, everything'll work out right..."

Five white-dressed dancers came from behind the stage and started dancing behind him.

"I say, we can dance if we want to.
We can leave your friends behind.
Because your friends don't dance.
And if they don't dance.
Well, they're no friends of mine..."

He shakes his hips.

"I say, we can dance, we can dance
Everything's out of control..."

He looks at the us and smiles, women gather around him and applaud.

"We can dance, we can dance
We're doing it from pole to pole..."

They applaud.

"We can dance, we can dance
Everybody look at your hands..."

Misty Breeze comes on stage dancing in an orange dress.

"We can dance, we can dance
Everybody's taking the chance..."

They started dancing together.

"Oh well, the safety dance...
Ah yes, the safety dance...
Oh well, the safety dance...
Oh well, the safety dance..."

They hold hands and turn around and laugh. They look very happy.

"Oh, the safety dance, yeah...
Well, it's the safety dance...
It's the safety dance...
Well, it's the safety dance..."

"Duck?!" He heard a shout. It was like a whisper.

They stopped turning. Duck looked in the direction of the voice, but there was nothing but stage lights. Misty put her hand on Duck's cheek and turned his face towards her, smiling at him and leaning her lips towards him. Duck smiled with great excitement. He stuck his beak towards her and then received a hard slap across the face.

"Duck! Wake up! This is not the time to grumble about Misty Breeze!" Said Lexi shaking him. There was an explosion a few meters away from them, causing them both to flinch. The surroundings were a battlefield. They were wearing Tech's specially designed battle armor.

At first, Duck didn't understand what was going on at all. He blinked at the bunny. He realized that the slap that woke him up from the dream was from Lexi.

"It was all a dream." He put his hand on his head and sighed.

"What?"

"What happened?" he said, rubbing his aching head.

"That thing threw you here. Don't you remember?" She pointed to a large rock with her hand. There was Duck's mark on the rock.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine." He said as his memory refreshed.

Our heroes were on a planet full of scraps called 'Scrabia'. This planet was home to waste from all over the universe. Their enemies' goal was to destroy that planet.

"Lexi, how is he?" Ace shouted as he shot lasers from his eyes at the metal limbs coming towards him.

"He is fine!" Lexi shouted. "Can you continue?"

"Of course I'll continue!" He suddenly stood up, causing Lexi to be stunned. "An action superhero never gives up." He put his hand on his chest and made a hero speech. Lexi rolled her eyes at him.

"Get out of my way! Now I'll show it its day!" He said, clenching his fists. His eyes suddenly widened as he teleported onto a rock and struck a hero pose. "Wasn't this thing smaller just now?"

In front of him, was a black giant robo-centipede with large red eyes and its entire body covered with thorns. It fell to the planet as a meteor. The place where it crashed was a desert surrounded by the scrap bodies of old spaceships. When it first encountered the Loonatics, it was the size of a hand. It had integrated the scrap ships during the fight and became what it is now.

“Guys-we-have-to-stop-this-thing-asap-or-it-will-DESTROY-THIS-PLANET!!!!!!!!” Rev said as he circled the massive robo-centipede. The robo-centipede tried to crush Rev with its long legs, but Rev dodged it.

Robo-centipede, "I AM AP-7 DREADNOUGHT. I'M CANNOT BE STOPPED, CANNOT BE DESTROYED, CANNOT BE DEFEATED. NOTHING ON THE UNIVERSE CAN STOP DREADNOUGHT." said in its emotionless robotic voice.

"Geez Duck. This thing's ego is even bigger than yours." Lexi said as she attacked the robot with her brain blast.

"Don't you think this is quite normal?!" He said, pointing at the giant robot with his hands. The robo-centipede shot lasers at them from its big eyes. "Mommy!" He shouted and teleported away and Lexi dodged the laser with her acrobatic moves.

"Tech! Do you have a bright idea?" Ace shouted.

"This thing is made up of a different element that can integrate metal, definitely something I've never encountered before! We have to stop it before it merges with the last ship and grows even bigger." He said, shooting at the robot with a large weapon, his latest invention. He had tried to use his magnetic kinetic powers on this robot many times. But his powers were of no use.

"We're trying!" Ace said, opening his arms.

Slam threw a giant rock at the robot. As the rock was floating towards the robot, Tech shot the rock with his weapon and the rock broke into small pieces and hit the robo-centipede. This collision caused the robot to be stunned. "We must find its weak spot as soon as possible!"

Ace had to think fast. When an idea came to his mind, he looked from behind the rock he was taking cover towards the other Loonatics. "Okay Loonatics. I have an idea! Tech?!"

Tech looked at Ace.

"You said something about power plants on the way here. What was that?"

"There's a large power plant thirty miles to the east. If we can direct the robot there, I can destroy it by creating a massive explosion with the equipment I'm wearing. I said that as the worst case scenario because I didn't know what we'd encounter. But right now it sounds like the most logical option."

"Rev, go warn the people there and help evacuate the facility!"

"Got-it-Ace!" And he left quickly.

"Slam, throw whatever you can get your hands on."

"Got it!" He grumbled.

"Lexi, Tech, Duck! Let's try to annoy it using our superpowers! Let's make it follow us!"

"Got it chief!"

With the coyote saying this, the robo-centipede looked towards the last scrap around and headed towards it.

"No!" Lexi activated her jetpack and broke away from the herd. "Lexi!" Ace yelled as the others looked at the female bunny and they all went after her. She circled around the moving robot and fired at it with a brain blast. Just like Ace said, she had managed to piss her off. It turned towards her and threw its limbs at her. Lexi maneuvered her way free of several limbs, but one grabbed her hard in the stomach and threw her backwards. She groaned in pain as her back hit a rock, and the robot pulled her towards it to swallow her.

Ace cut off the limb with his sword just in time and brought Lexi down to the ground safely. "Are you okay?" He asked as he got down on one knee and offered her a helping hand. "Yes I am fine." Lexi refused the helping hand and stood up, clutching her stomach. She sounded angry. Ace let her go and said nothing to Lexi's action.

The others were following Ace's orders. They continued to use their powers on the robot. Lasers were shooting from the robot's eyes in different directions.

After a while, Slam threw a giant rock at the robot, but Dreadnought was prepared this time. It caught the rock and threw it back at Slam. He flew back from the impact. Duck was already stuck to another rock. "Again?!" He said as he tried to pull himself out of the hole.

Everyone gasped as the Dreadnought threw its limbs at the last ship. Its limbs gripped the ship and pulled it towards itself. "No!" Tech threw his gun to the ground and used his magnekinetic powers to push the ship away from it. It was literally like a tug of war competition. Neither of them were giving up. Tech was screaming from the power he was expending. The robot threw a few more limbs at the ship and began pulling it harder. Slam arrived just in time as Tech was about to give up and yelled as he hugged him tightly from behind and pulled him hard with the help of his jetpack. Duck, Ace, and Lexi were about to come help as well. But the robot threw one of its limbs at the coyote, grabbed him by the chest, and pulled him towards itself. No matter how hard Slam tried, he couldn't hold Tech any longer and he let him slip from his hands and fell to the ground. He just stared at his teammate, who turned away from him in disappointment.

Tech simply shouted before the robot swallowed him. Everyone let out another gasp. "Tech! No!" Ace screamed. Since no one could stop it anymore, the robot easily merged with the ship and grew even larger. While it expanding, others could only watch. When it finished expanding, it looked around. But there was nothing left to unite and expand with.

Duck stared in shock for a few seconds, then said, "At least there's nothing left around for it to fuze and grow from. Now the closest place it can do this is in the Scrap City." gloomy ruined the moment.

"SCRAP CITY... COORDINATES, 48° LATITUDE, 126° LONGITUDE. POPULATION, 20,986,314. FOR NOW." It said and headed towards that place. Duck's eyes widened as he realized what had caused it.

"DUCK!" Everyone shouted at the same time and they looked really angry. They had to find a way to get Tech out of it, but now the robot was starting to head towards the city because of Duck's big beak. Nothing was going as planned.

"Tech! Can you hear me? Tech!? He's not answering." Lexi told the others as they tried to contact him.

"Sorry-I'm-late-the-power-plant-was-evacuated-safely-luckily-it-was-lunch-break-when-I-got-there-so-everyone-was-in-the-cafeteria-and-since-there-were-not-many-workers-working-there-it-took-a-short-time-for-the-plant-to-be-evacuated-this-means-we-still-have-plenty-of-time-to-think-about-what-to-do-so-your-plan-makes-sense-Ace-but-I-think-we-should-think-a- little-MORE-ABOUT-WHAT-TO-DO!" Rev was calm at first. But when he saw the robot heading towards the city, he too panicked. "That-thing-is-heading-towards-Scrap-City!"

"Yes. Thanks to Duck's big beak!" Lexi said angrily. Duck could only look away from her gaze.

"Wait-where's-Tech?"

"It ate Tech." Ace said as he stared emotionlessly at the robot walking away from them.

"WHAT!"

"And we can't communicate with him." Lexi added.

"What?! We-have-to-do-something! We-have-to-get-him-out-of-there!" He is panicked.

"The City?!" It was Slam.

Ace looked truly panicked now. Nothing they had ever done had worked on the robot. Tech, was in that thing. And that robot was heading towards the big city where millions of life forms lived. They didn't have time to go back to Blanc and get more equipment to defeat that robot and get Tech out of it. He didn't know what to say or do.

Duck broke the silence. "Okay! I'll fix this!" The wings of the jetpack on his armor opened. He got into flying position but it didn't work. He tried again and again but it didn't work. It was damaged in the fight.

Ace leaned against the rock next to him and bit his lip, worried and thoughtful.

"What are we going to do, Ace?!" Lexi looked very worried.

He just looked at the sky.

"Ace-what-do-we-do-now?"

While he was trying to think, his friends voices were ringing in his ears. He squeezed his ears with both hands and closed his eyes tightly.

Suddenly a sound was heard, causing them all to look towards the direction of the sound in shock. The source of the sound was a giant explosion that appeared in the direction the robot was traveling. They were far enough away from the explosion that all they felt was a small breeze.

"Tech..." Rev could only whisper as they all stared at the explosion in shock. "TECH!" He shouted anxiously and quickly ran towards the explosion. Others followed him the same concern.

"Tech! Tech! Do you hear me? Answer me!" Ace called out to the coyote through the communicator on his arm as he flew on his jetpack. But all he heard was a tingling sound. "Oh no... He can't be... He... He can't be gone... No." It was his inner voice. He was very worried. "Lexi, are you hearing anything?"

Lexi was trying to hear something using her super hearing. But she couldn't hear anything. Her eyes started to fill with tears. But she didn't show this to anyone. "No. Nothing."

When the Loonatics arrived at the scene of the explosion with their jetpacks,(Slam carried Duck in his arms.) Rev had already started searching somewhere. The robot turned into a large and tall puddle of mud.

"Rev, where is he?" Ace shouted.

"I-don't-know! I-can't-get-a-life-sign! I- can't-find-him!" He was trying to use his GPS power. Tears began to flow from his eyes.

“Dig in Loonatics!” Ace shouted, pointing at the wreckage.

Our heroes started digging everywhere. At the same time, they were shouting.

"Tech!? TECH!?"

While Slam was lifting huge rocks and looking under them, Duck was teleporting around and yelling the coyote's name. They were searching everywhere.

"He... He... He can't be, right? So he has powers. He has powers." Duck asked as he started digging in a random spot. Even he was aware of the seriousness of the situation.

"Keep digging! Keep searching!" Ace shouted. He too was fighting back tears. Was Duck right? Now everyone was starting to think about the worst case scenario.

Lexi began to hear a small noise. A little heartbeat. "Guys! I hear something!" She tried to focus on the sound and gasped. "That's him! THAT'S HIM!" She screamed with happiness.

Rather than waiting for Lexi to use her super hearing to locate him, Rev immediately used the GPS in his brain. He was picking up his life signal now. "Right there!" He pointed twenty meters to their side and everyone ran in that direction.

They was a few meters away from where Rev was pointing. As they continued running, a silhouette slowly stood up from the mud puddle in front of them. Everyone stopped running and looked at him in shock.

"Hey." The coyote smiled awkwardly and greeted them. He covered himself using his hands and tail. He was stark naked. His brown fur was fluffy and dirty. Everyone was still just staring at him. The exchange of glances lasted quite a long time.

It was Lexi who broke the silence. "Tech!" She exclaimed with a big smile and ran up and hugged him tightly from the side. Tech puffed out his cheeks and turned blushed. After all, he was dirty and naked. But Lexi didn't care. She was just happy that her friend was okay. Immediately afterwards, Rev hugged him tightly from the other side. "Tech-I-thought-I-lost-you-man-I-was-so-scared!" He shouted. Ace smiled and let out a deep breath. He approached him and put his hand on his shoulder. "Tech... Buddy." He hugged him from the front. Tech just stared at them. Slam hugged them all tightly from behind and spun them around. They all burst into long laughter of happiness. The villain was defeated. Tech was good. And the planet was now safe. When Slam stopped embracing, everyone stopped embracing Tech. Duck came from among them and put his hand on the coyote's shoulder. "Hey. I'm not going to hug you because you're naked. But I'm glad you're okay." He smiled. Tech smiled back at him.

"Rev, could you please?..." Tech politely asked Rev to get some clothes for him. The Roadrunner looked so happy that his best friend was okay. "Oh-sure-Tech-I'll-be-right-back." He quickly left and came back a second later with some clothes in his hand.

While Tech was getting dressed, Rev turned his back to his friend and opened a sheet so the others couldn't see him. Tech began to get dressed behind the sheets. His silhouette was visible while he was dressing.

Ace relaxed and sat on a rock. "So, what happened there?"

"Since I have regeneration powers, I had installed a 'self-destruct' system on my costume just in case." He said while getting dressed.

"So do we have that too?" Duck asked worriedly as he looked at his costume.

"Since you don't have regeneration powers... No, Duck." It was Lexi.

"When the robot pulled me in, I detected your locations thanks to the GPS system in my armor and waited for it to get far enough away from you are."

"And then boom." Ace said.

"Exactly." The Coyote nodded.

Tech had finished dressing. Rev pulled down the sheet. He was wearing white desert-appropriate clothing and black flip-flops on his feet.

The Loonatics laughed at Tech's display. Even Rev was snickering. Tech looked angrily his own appearance first, then looked at Rev. "What?-People-here-only-wear-this." He said with open arms.

He had a straight expression on his face. Lexi stopped laughing and walked over to the coyote and placed her hand on his cheek. "Hey... That was a really big explosion. You scared the hell out of us." She was very worried about him. Tech gave a small smile. "I know, I'm sorry. But I had no choice." Everyone was aware of the situation they were in. Lexi smiled back at him, but her smile disappeared after something she heard. Suddenly she started to look around.

"Lex? What's wrong?" Ace asked.

"I hear something. A little click. But I can't quite figure out where it's coming from." The Loonatics happiness turned to uneasiness. Everyone was looking around. She soon pinpointed where the sound was coming from. "There. Under that rock." She pointed to a large rock with his hand. Slam lifted the large rock and threw it to the side. Everyone was shocked by what they saw. It was that robot. Dreadnought. It was the size of a hand, just like when they first met. It looked at them with its little red eyes. Ace clenched his teeth and stomped it with his foot over and over again. It had the consistency of chewed gum, but then it returned to its original state. The Loonatics suffered another gasp. This robot was truly invincible, just as it said.

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. YOU CAN'T STOP ME. YOU CAN'T DEFEAT ME, YOU CAN'T DESTROY ME. NOTHING ON THE UNIVERSE CAN'T STOP DREADNO..." Slam grabbed it and popped it into his mouth, chewing and swallowing over and over. After a long burp, he looked at his friends and smiled, showing his big teeth. Everyone was staring at him with their mouths open. Everyone waited for something to happen. They thought the thing was going to split open Slam's belly and come out. But nothing happened. Slam's stomach not was 'NOTHING'.

It was Ace who broke the long silence. "Okay... Wish we had thought of this in the first place." After everything they'd been through, it was normal for him to think that.

When Lexi heard another voice, she looked in the direction of the voice. "Guys, there are people coming."

When our heroes looked in the direction where the sound was coming from, they realized that the source of the sound was the villagers living in the surrounding villages who had come to them, wondering what was causing all this noise. The planet's inhabitants were mostly life forms that were different colors and resembled humans. But there were also life forms that came from different parts of the universe. They looked scared.

Ace took a few steps forward to talk to them. "Listen, good people of this planet. There is no need to be afraid anymore. 'Guardians of the Universe' here. The danger has been averted. You can now continue your lives where you left off." They became hope for people. They were watching our heroes with admiration. "Okay... No thanks to the heroes?" Ace said smiling at them.

People blinked at our heroes, then squealed happily and approached them to thank them.

"Oh... You're welcome. You're welcome." Lexi said as a flower was placed in her hair. They wore several necklaces of scrap around her neck. Young men had gathered around her, paying special attention to her.

"Revvvvv..." Two girl said as they kissed Rev's cheeks. After what they did, Rev's eyes widened and his beak turned as red as his costume.

Several girl were touching Slam's muscles. Slam lifted them up onto his shoulders and the women giggled. Slam had a complete bastard smile on his face. He remembered his old fighting times.

"So... What are you doing tonight ladies?" Duck was holding the two girls by their waists and flirting with them. The girls were laughing exaggeratedly.

"You're welcome... You're welcome... You're welcome." The leader kept his distance and hugged the women who wanted to hug him. Lexi was staring at them expressionlessly from behind.

Several girl walked toward Tech. Tech smiled handsomely and put his hands on his hips. They thought Tech was one of them because of his appearance, so they just walked past him. "But... But..." That was all Tech could say as they left. He really planned to get some appreciate after what he did. He hunched over in disappointment. Lexi saw this and giggled. She hugged him to comfort him and then left to take a look at him. Tech looked at her and smiled.

Ace was analyzing this long battle while his friends were celebrating. He was almost thinking about the possibility of losing millions of innocent people and Tech. Then he looked at his friends and people. To their happiness. His face smiled. Suddenly a hand came to his shoulder. He turned his face to see whose hand it was. It was Duck. His face turned serious. "We should consider building the HQ here." He said playfully. He had kiss marks all over his face. Ace pulled his shoulder from his grasp and walked away angrily without saying anything to him. Duck knew why he was angry. They had something to talk about when they got back to HQ. But he did not change his stance. He posed as a hero to a few more women.

A yellow inverted triangle appeared on the screen.

Our heroes returned to Blanc after defeating the robo-centipede and saving the planet. Their base was their base in Acmetropolis. Its new location was above a park with a great view of Blanc.

"What the heck was that you did there Duck?!" Ace said angrily as he slammed his fist on the meeting table.

"I know, I know I screwed up. I'm sorry. I didn't do it on purpose. I realized what I did, after I closed my beak." He said sadly while sitting in his chair.

"Are you sorry?! Being sorry doesn't change what you almost caused Duck!" The leader shouted as he walked towards him. He looked very angry. The atmosphere was very quiet.

Lexi and Rev were with them while Tech was in the medical lab checking Slam's stomach. (As soon as he returned to the base, he cleaned up himself and got rid of his clothes.)

"Hey! I already apologized. Don't be too hard on me! I told you it wouldn't happen again!" He stood up and raised his voice. Now they were face to face.

Ace put his hand to his forehead and sighed. "Let me remind you again Duck, how serious we are a part of something. We are heroes." He pointed to himself and his teammates. "We are now 'THE GUARDIANS OF THE UNIVERSE.' Billions of Lives are our responsibility. And as the leader of the team, I am responsible for yours as well. The smallest mistake we make can have dire consequences. With what you did today, you endangered both your teammates and millions of lives. I will not allow this." He said very seriously.

"I know!" He shouted.

"Guys." Lexi tried to keep the argument from going any further. Rev looked equally uneasy.

Duck didn't listen her. "Come on, Ace! It worked after all, didn't it? If I hadn't guided that thing towards the city, Tech wouldn't have blown himself up and shrunk that thing, and Slam wouldn't have eaten it and finished it off completely." He said without thinking.

"Duck!" Lexi and Rev couldn't believe what Duck had just said.

An uncharacteristically surprised expression appeared on Ace's face. "What?! Do you know what you're talking about?! You caused the robot to head towards the city and you left Tech no choice but to blow himself up! We thought he was dead, Duck! He could have died there!"

Duck's eyes widened as he realized he had spoken without thinking again, making them look away from the others.

Ace put his hand on his forehead, "Look, Duck. Just do me a favor, and next time KEEP THAT BIG BEAK CLOSED!" and shouted.

Duck bowed his neck. He was aware that he had screwed up everything, but there were other things he had been aware of for a long time. He clenched his fists. "At least I tried to do something. I didn't freeze up like you."

"What?" Ace was as surprised as Rev and Lexi. "At the time I was trying to find a solution to what you caused!"

"Oh please. We all know you haven't been well since Zadavia left, Ace. You know it too. You just won't admit it." He pointed his finger at the rabbit. Ace was stunned when he said this. He averted his eyes from him and fell into thought.

Lexi and Rev looked at each other with concern.

Duck started walking around with his hands clasped behind his back. "We need a leader who thinks quickly and makes the right decisions at the right time. We all see that that person is not you anymore! If you can't lead, get out of the way of those who can!"

He frowned. "Oh yeah? So, who will be the new leader? You? Sir Mr action superhero." He said sarcastically.

When Ace said this, Duck started walking towards him angrily and Ace did the same. Rev was about to intervene, but Lexi was faster than him this time. "Guys enough!" She got between the two and separated them. "We can't solve any problem by fighting!"

"Get your hands off me." Duck said, pushing her hand away before angrily walking towards the door. Rev said, "I... I'd better go with him." and went after him. The hyperactive bird had made one of his slowest speeches.

Ace and Lexi watched the birds gone away. Ace had an angry look as Lexi watched them go worriedly.

----------

"SCAN COMPLETED" A robotic female voice was heard in the medical laboratory.

"And it's just as I predicted. Your stomach has completely finished off that robot." The Coyote said as he finished scanning Slam's body. Slam sat up and smiled. But when he got to Tech, he saw his staring at the ground in disappointment.

"What's the problem?" he said, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Nothing. Just that robot... I'd want to research it. That robot was revolutionary. It's technology I've never seen before. I could take advantage of it."

Slam didn't know how to react to what Tech said. He just blinked.

"Anyway... That was all. Let's show the guys your report." Said the coyote with a smile, with the report he prepared in his hand. Slam nodded and they walked out of the medical laboratory.

As Slam and Tech head towards the meeting room... "Stop following me Rev!" "But..." "Go away!" They heard shouting.

They soon encountered Rev and Duck. "Get out of my way!" He angrily pushed Tech aside and continued walking. "Hey!?" Tech said in surprise, while Slam looked at him, equally surprised. He stopped and took a deep breath. He turned to Tech and, "I'm sorry." said before continuing walking. While Tech and Slam were looking at each other, Rev approached them. "Hey Tech, how's Slam?"

"He's fine. His stomach has completely pulled the plug on that thing. So what's wrong with him?" He pointed to the duck walking away from them.

Rev's eyes widened as he remembered that Tech was inside the robot when Duck caused the robo-centipede to head towards the city. "Oh-right. Duck-caused-it-to-head-towards-the-city-while-you-were-in-that-thing-and-he-and-Ace-just-almost-got-into-a-fight-over-it." He said uneasily.

Tech now understood why Duck was apologizing. Slam, Tech, and Rev stared at Duck until he entered his room, and when he entered, his door slammed shut. The sound of the door echoed down the hallway.

"So... You okay?" the Roadrunner asked his coyote friend.

"I'm fine... I had a time to check myself while I was checking on Slam."

Rev seemed a little happier after hearing that. "I'll show the others Slam's report. Are you coming?" Coyote asked. Rev smiled at him slightly, then nodded and they started walking towards the meeting room.

-----------

Duck was sitting on his bed. "IDIOT! IDIOT! IDIOT! What the heck is going on with you?! You almost screwed everything. Are you thinking of leading the team like this? You're not acting like an action superhero at all! Get over yourself!" He slapped himself hard and shook himself off.

All these thoughts and the fatigue caused by the task had exhausted him. For this reason, he thought that a not-so-beauty sleep would be good for him. He laid down on his back and rolled onto his side.

He was about to fall asleep but, "Sir Mr. Duck..." His eyes widened when a hologram opened right behind him. He knew this voice. He wasn't even the last person he wanted to talk to right now. He continued to lie still, his wide eyes moving. He figured if he kept pretending to sleep like this, he'd leave him alone.

"Sir Mr Duck?..." Again Duck remained silent. Tweetums raised an eyebrow at him. The hologram closed and another hologram immediately appeared in front of Duck. Duck jumped back and fell off his bed as he let out a panicked scream.

"I knew you weren't sleeping Sir Mr Duck." He said cheerfully.

"Hey! Some privacy please!" He clenched his fists in anger as he teleported to his bed.

Tweetums stared at him for a moment. He had always annoyed him ever since they settled on this planet, and he was definitely enjoying this. But this time he looked much angrier. "I was going to ask how your mission was... But something seems to have gone wrong. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Look... I really don't want to talk about it right now, okay?! I'm tired and I want to sleep. Leave me alone." He lay down on the bed and pulled his covers up. "And isn't it time for you to sleep yet? Go away."

"Fine, then I'll ask Ace about that." The jerk said with a smile.

Duck's eyes widened. "No, no, no! Don't do that!" He immediately jumped to his feet.

"Okay then. I'm listening." He smiled like an jerk again.

Duck took a deep breath and slouched. "You're despicable."

----------

The leader was looking at where the birds were going. Things Duck had said were running through his mind. He looked next to him and saw Lexi staring at him with her arms around her hips, angrily.

"What?"

"Why did you do this?!"

"What have I done?" he asked in surprise.

"He already apologized and admitted his mistake! Why did you press on further?!"

"Because someone needs to stop acting like children and realize how important what we're doing is, Lexi." He said and headed towards the door to check on Slam. "Don't worry, he'll be fine. Let him be alone and think about what he did."

"You know what Ace?... Duck is right. You haven't been good lately." She crossed her arms angrily behind his back.

"You haven't been well lately either, Lexi." He stopped and turned towards her. "This is about the last conversation we had, isn't it?"

Her eyes widened and she turned red. "What?!" She shyly looked away from him. "No. No it's not."

"Yes, it is. You haven't been yourself lately, you're always sad." He took a deep breath, put his hands on her arms and looked into her eyes. "Look... I know my answer disappointed you. I just want you to understand me. I'm sorry about that Lexi. But you have to get over it." he said gently but seriously.

"Yes, I'm disappointed." she looked into his eyes and said, "And I understand you. I'm just heartbroken Ace... And I need some time to 'get over' it." she said, looking away sadly.

Ace softened his gaze at her. When they heard the sound of the door opening, they both looked in that direction. Tech, Slam and Rev walked in.

"So, how is he?" the leader asked the technician.

"His-body-was-completely-checked. Nothing related-to the-robot-was-found. So-Slam's-stomach-has-completely-unplugged-the robot." Tech was about to raise his finger and give his scientific explanation when Rev intervened and smiled.

With a flat expression, Tech lowered his finger and gave Ace the demon's report. Ace let out a sigh of relief as he checked the demon's report.

Lexi acted as if the earlier conversation had never happened. "I knew you could handle this, big guy." She playfully punched Slam in the arm and smiled at him. At Slam, his stomach suddenly growled as he smiled at her. He immediately ran to the refrigerator in the meeting room and started eating it. Everyone watched him in surprise for a while.

“Listen up, Loonatics.” The leader attracted all the attention. "Today, we have seen again that even the slightest mistake can have dire consequences. "All I want from you is to focus on the mission thoroughly during the mission." Everyone was listening as Ace gave his classic leader speech with his hands on his hips. "Other than that, you did a good job today. Especially you, Tech." He put his hand on the coyote's shoulder. "You did a good job there today. Go get some rest. Don't build new toys, get some REST." He was extremely serious.

Tech smiled awkwardly and shook his head.

"Today has been a long and tiring day. All of you rest thoroughly until the next mission. Good night." The rabbit glanced at Lexi out of the corner of his eye and then headed towards his room.

"Ace-is-right-guys.Today-was-a-really-long-and-tiring-day. Good-night-everyone." The hyperactive roadrunner quickly followed behind Ace.

"GOOOORRRKK!" After Slam let out a base-shaking burp, he placed the food in a pyramid shape in his hands and closed the refrigerator with his foot. As he passed the rabbit and the jackal, he smiled at them and slowly went to his room, trying to keep the food balanced. They just stared after him.

Tech looked at Lexi and saw her absently staring after the others. "Lexi? Are you okay?"

"Oh?" She startled, "Oh yeah, yeah I'm okay." and smiled.

"Are you sure? You took a bad hit back there. Do you want me to check you out too?"

"No, no I'm okay. It's okay, really. I've seen worse." She put her hand on her stomach and smiled. When she looked at Tech, she saw that he had avoided his eyes, lost in thought. She figured he was hesitate to talk to her because of his nakedness.

"Tech, what's on your mind? I mean... If it's about me seeing you naked again, you know I told you it's okay. We've talked about this before."

Tech's eyes widened at that. That was a problem for him too, but that wasn't what was on his mind right now. "Oh... No... No I just need some rest. Blowing yourself up is tiring."

Lexi smiled. "You did a good job there Tech."

"Thank you." He said before closing his eyes and picking up the cart full of battle armor.

"I thought you were resting." She put her hands on her hips and grinned smugly.

"I will. After I check your armors."

"Fine. Just don't be too hard on yourself."

"Good night, Lexi." He waved his hand casually without turning around as he headed towards his room with the cart.

"Good night." She said in a low voice from behind the coyote.

---------

"What did you say you did?" Tweetums said, widening his eyes at the hologram across from Duck.

"Hey! I told you. I don't enjoy saying this okay! I know what I did. I told you everything. Just don't ask Ace anything about it." He said while sitting slouched on his bed.

Tweetums' eye twitched. "Fine. But do you know what I want to do now, Sir Mr Duck?"

"I am listening." He said indifferently.

"I' m going to come over there and hit your head with my scepter until it breaks!"

"Very funny."

"If disaster befalls my planet because of your big beak... I will do worse to you than I did to Sylth Vester." As he said this, Duck's eyes, while closed, widened.

"Tweetums out." He said it seriously and the conversation ended.

Duck stared at the disappearing hologram for a moment longer. Then he lay down on his bed and pulled the quilt over his head and closed his eyes tightly because he wanted this terrible day to end as soon as possible.

---------

Tech was sitting at his desk in his room, observing the damage to his teammates' armor. The armor on the table was Duck's armor. There were many dents, cracks and breaks in the armor. The dorsal jet was also completely shattered. Of course, it was nothing Tech couldn't handle. Since Duck's armor was the smallest, it was the easiest and quickest to repair.

When he turned to the other armors, he realized that his own armor was not among them. The big explosion at mission came to his mind. He thought. What if he wasn't here like his armor after what he did on today's mission?

Since they became 'Guardians of the Universe', their work was much more serious. Their missions were much more dangerous than those in Acmetropolis. Tech was always making sacrifices for his friends and innocent people. He did this without hesitation because he had regeneration powers. But there had to be a limit to their power. Tech knew he wasn't invulnerable. Today was just another day where he got lucky. That's actually what was on his mind when Lexi asked him what he was thinking.

He looked around. To his laboratory and his inventions. He thought he wasn't here right now. He sighed. Then he thought of his friends. He remembered their happiness when they saw that he was okay. He remembered their emotional embrace.

He smiled. He knew that they were much more valuable than his laboratory and his inventions, but he spent more time in his laboratory than with them. "I should spend more time with them." It was his inner voice. "I'll fix this." His eyes slowly moved to the window opposite him and looked at the beautiful view of Blanc.

---------

After a while, Lexi was trying to sleep in her hammock, but suddenly her ears perked up. She heard the same voice again. That person was telling everyone to rest. But he was constantly training in the training room until the morning.

"Hah!!! Hyah!!! Hah!!!" Ace shouted as he fought the robot drones in the training room. As he slashed them with his sword, the drones responded with lasers. He managed to block several lasers with his sword and dodged others coming at him. He jumped and cut down the last drone that was following him.

"Training Over" came a robotic voice as he landed softly on the ground. He was out of breath and covered in sweat. He couldn't get the things Duck and Lexi said out of his mind.

"We all know you haven't been well since Zadavia left..."

"We need a leader who thinks quickly and makes the right decisions at the right time. We all see that that person is not you anymore!..."

"You haven't been good lately..."

They were right. He closed his eyes. "Yes, I'm not good." he said to himself. “I have to be better!” He opened his eyes and squinted them.

After a few seconds of breathing, he went to the control panel and restarted the training and continued to fight the robot drones.

Lexi sighed and stopped listening to him. She closed her eyes and waited for sleep.

WB Animation intro

"Good morning Acmetropolis..." The news reporter began. "As you know, last night the leader of the Loonatics, Ace Bunny, held a press conference."

The frame showed Ace's press conference image...
"Dear people of Acmetropolis. I regret to inform you that we are leaving the planet tomorrow. We will continue our mission on Planet Blanc..."

"The people were shocked by this sudden decision made by our heroes. They announced that they will no longer protect just Acmetropolis, but the universe." The reporter continued. "Misty Breeze is currently next to the Loonatics' base. Can you tell us what's going on there, Misty?"

"This is Misty Breeze. We are currently in front of the Loonatics' base. The Mayor is here, along with thousands of people who have come to see off the heroes of Acmetropolis. The heroes are making their final preparations. They have a short time left before they leave the planet." While Misty was talking, Duck was posing with his chest puffed out in a hero pose to impress her. "And right now I have Danger Duck for an interview."

"Please... Danger Duck the Guardian of the Universe." Duck corrected.

"Okay, Danger Duck the Guardian of the Universe. Is there anything you want to tell us before you leave?"

"Well, I have a few things to say Misty..." He began. "Acmetropolis... Don't worry about me leaving. I may be leaving here, but I'll always be around." He winked at the camera. "And I have something to say to the bad guys. Don't get encouraged just because Danger Duck is leaving here. I'll always be on your neck." He looked at the camera seriously.

While Misty and Duck continued their interview... Rip was watching the live broadcast on TV at the Runners' house. When Ralph, Harriet, and Rev entered the room, he turned off the TV and went to them.

When everyone was gathered, Rev took a long look at his family. They looked sad and worried. "I'd better go now." Rev said sadly and slowly.

"Rev... Are-you-sure-you-don't-want-to-take-anything-with-you-from-here?" Harriet said.

"Mom, for-the-forty-second-time-I-have-enough-stuff."

Ralph put a hand on his oldest son's shoulder. "Rev, I-know-how-happy-and-excited-you-are-about-this-'Guardians-of-the-Universe'-thing. Isn't-it-too-late-for-me-to-change-your-mind?"

"Dad-we-talked-about-this."

"Can't-I-worry-about-my-son?"

"Rev-we-are-so-worried-about-you." She said.

"Mom, Dad, please-don't-worry-about-me." He took his mother's hand. "I'll-be-fine."

"We-know." His mother smiled, softening her gaze. "I'm-proud-of-you."

"We're-proud-of-you." Ralph said with a smile. Rev smiled too and they hugged each other tightly.

It was Rip's turn. "Rev... Take care of yourself, okay?"

"Come-here." They hugged. "I-promise. You-take-care-of-yourself-too-okay- brother."

Rip smiled and nodded. "Not everyone's big brother is a superhero. Especially being the protector of the universe... It's so cool."

Rev smiled and scratched his brother's head.

When they got outside, the city of Acmetropolis was visible in front of them. Rev took one last look at his family and could only wave. His family smiled and waved back at him. They did their best not to look upset.

When Rev turned back to the front, he barely held himself back from crying and quickly headed towards the city, leaving smoke behind. Harriet started to cry after he left. Rip and Ralph comforted her.

A tiny tear escaped from Rev's eye and floated in the air as he sped through the canyons.

-------------

"Cut!" Said Misty. "Thanks for the interview."

"Ehh, it's okay." Duck said a little shyly.

Just as Misty was about to leave, Duck mustered up the courage and said, "Wait... Are you hungry? I'll take you out to dinner. I'll tell the guys, they can wait for us a bit."

Misty rolled her eyes. She really didn't want to deal with him right now. "No thanks. I'm not hungry." And she started walking.

"Let's at least get something to drink..." Duck insisted and followed her.

A little further behind them were Ace, Lexi, Slam and Tech in front of the base. Tech was standing with his new invention, a shrink ray. Thousands of fans were silently watching them, waiting with curiosity to see what would happen next. The Loonatics were waiting with curiosity just like the fans.

"Tech, this thing won't mess up my room right?" Lexi asked, placing a hand on the coyote's shoulder.

"Don't worry. Your room will be fine." He said as he made adjustments to his invention.

"Are you sure this will work?" It was Ace.

"Please." He said with confidence. "You should back up a bit." With that, the Loonatics took a few steps back and fired his invention at their base. A blue beam surrounded their base and slowly shrank the tower. The fans cheered for Tech after seeing what they saw, while the Loonatics watched the coyote in surprise.

"Oh yeah." Tech smiled and a few fangirls screamed. The coyote pulled out a round cup from behind him and carefully placed their small base inside. "Slowly..."

Ace said, looking at the cup, "Heh, it doesn't look that big right now."

Rev stopped quickly and trembled like an arrow. "Guys-I-hope-I'm-not-too-late."

Ace put a hand on his shoulder. "No Rev you didn't... But it took a long time for someone like you huh buddy."

Rev looked away sadly. Ace bit his lip, thinking he said something wrong.

Duck teleported in between them. "I guess you didn't get the answer you wanted." Lexi smiled with her arms on her hips, while Slam chuckled. "Shut up!" Duck said with clenched fists.

"Gang, she's coming." The leader said as the Mayor approached them and took the podium. Everyone lined up.

"Dear people of Acmetropolis. Today, one small step for the world, one giant leap for the universe. Our heroes are leaving our planet. I wish them the best of luck in the rest of their lives. Let's thank them for all the brave deeds they've done so far." The Mayor and thousands of people applauded, whistled, and cheered our Heroes. They all smiled and puffed out their chests. "Thank you for your service..." After the Mayor finished her long and boring speech, she thanked everyone for their service and started to put medals around their necks. As Slam tried to eat the medal that was placed around his neck, Ace whispered, "Slam, that's not food!" without looking at him and Lexi nudged him with her elbow.

It was time to leave the planet. Once everyone was in their seats on the ship, "Fasten your seat belts. We're taking off," Tech said as he pressed a few buttons. When the ship took off and they looked outside, everyone, including the mayor, was waving at them. Tech went into hyperdrive and they broke through the clouds and out of orbit. Everyone took one last look at the planet they had spent their lives on and headed for Blanc. When they disappeared among the stars...

INTRO:
'GUARDIANS OF THE UNIVERSE'

'PRESENT DAY'

BEEP... BEEP... BEEP...

Ace turned off his wake-up alarm and sat up. He went to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror. His fur was messy and there were bags under his eyes. He looked very tired. He had had another long and tiring night in the training room. He washed his face to wake up.

The others were in the living room. Tech and Rev were having drinks at the kitchen table. While Duck was waiting for Misty Breeze's weather show to start on the TV, Lexi was listening to music.

"Bmfbmfbmvfbfvfbmbfb inside?" Slam was sitting in the chair, playing a word game he had recently downloaded onto his pad to learn more words and be more understandable when speaking.

"Hmm... A five-letter organ with an 'I' as the fourth letter and an 'N' inside?" Duck scratched his chin in thought.

"Brain, Slam." Tech said before sipping his coffee.

"Well... I was thinking of another organ." Duck said with a grin as he looked at the boys. The boys looked at Duck with wide eyes while Lexi rolled her eyes and said "Boys." Slam wrote the word that came to Duck's mind and smiled as he solved the word game.

"Good morning guys." The leader said with a yawn as he came into the living room.

"Good-morning-Ace-do-you-want-orange-juice?" Rev asked while drinking the orange juice he had prepared.

"Actually Rev, yes I do." When his stomach growled and he opened the fridge, he realized that it was empty and shivered with his teeth clenched. "SSSllllaaammm!!!" Everyone looked at the leader. "You ate the fridge! Again! How many times is this!" He got angry at him. Slam looked away and got upset.

"You shouldn't be so selfish. You're not the only one living here. You should stop being so gluttonous Slam." He scolded him.

"Ace, don't you think you're being too hard on him?" Lexi said, placing her hand on the hunched devil's back.

"No I'm not." Ace shouted. "Now, you're going to fill that fridge
just like you emptied it. You're going shopping. NOW." He said while pointing to the door. When Ace finished his sentence, his stomach growled again and he clutched his stomach with a sad expression.

"Come-on-Ace, it-would-take-hours-for-Slam-to-do-this I-can-do-the-shopping. It'll-only-take-a-few-seconds." The Roadrunner said.

"No. He'll do it." The bunny pointed to Slam.

Tech picked up a notebook and went to the fridge and started making a 'buy list'.

"Hey! I'm trying to watch on Misty here. Some respect." The Loonatics looked at Duck.

"Really Duck? Are you still following her? Level up already." Lexi thought that since they were the 'Guardians of the Universe' now, Duck should look at the higher level girls.

"SSSHHH!" Duck shushed Lexi. And turned up the volume on the TV.

"This is Misty Breeze. Today's weather in Acmetropolis..." Misty started the news. "Mistyyyy." Duck's eyes turned into hearts as Misty spoke.

"I'm going with him." Tech completed the list and went to Slam's side.

Everyone looked at the coyote in surprise. "Okay... I mean you don't have to, but you can go if you want." Ace accepted the offer. If it were anyone else, he wouldn't have let them. But Tech was the least outgoing person on the team.

Tech and Slam walked towards the elevator. Slam was still looking at his coyote friend in surprise that he came with him.

"Acmetropolis... I have a special news for you that is only on Acme News... I'M GETTING MARRIED!" The Loonatics looked at Duck in shock as Duck turned off the TV.

"Oh-no. This-is-not-good." Rev said. There was a huge silence in the room. Duck stood up and walked towards his room without saying anything. "Duck..." Lexi called out as everyone watched him leave in silence. "Oh no... Poor Duck." She said sadly.

Ace thought. He knew how much he liked Misty. And he was definitely devastated by this news. He had to talk to him before he did something stupid and hurt himself. Besides, they couldn't take him on any missions with them in this state. Ace took a deep breath and said, "I'll talk to him."

As he was about to walk towards Duck's room, Lexi grabbed his arm. "Don't be too hard on him, he's having a bad day. I don't want you to wrangle like last time." Ace shook his head and left Lexi and Rev behind.

He was standing in front of Duck's door. He thought about the fight they had after the previous mission. He probably wouldn't want to talk to him and would tell him to piss off. But Ace was determined. After all, he was the leader of this team and as a leader, he had responsibilities. One of those responsibilities was to be there for his team during their bad days.

"Hey Duck... Can I come in?" Ace asked from behind the door.

"I don't want to talk to anyone. Leave me alone!"

"I'm coming in."

"Don't come in! Don't come in! He came in."

Ace came in. When he looked at the room, he noticed that it was a mess. Misty's things were everywhere. Duck was lying face down on his bed.

"We need to talk." Ace said with his hands on his hips.

"There's nothing to talk about."

Ace took a good look at Duck. He didn't look good. "Okay, we won't talk either then." Ace sat down next to him on his bed. When Duck looked at Ace from the side, he noticed that Ace was just sitting there, not doing anything. He was looking around the room silently. After a long silence, Duck exhaled and straightened up. "I'm sorry for that view."

"It's okay. Everyone has bad days."

Duck thought. After the last conversation he had with Ace, things weren't going well. But right now, he was sitting quietly next to him. He felt bad about the words he said during that wrangle. He thought it was a good time to apologize. "Look, I'm not very good at this but... I'm sorry about the conversation we had last time. I shouldn't have said that to you in front of everyone."

Ace softened his gaze at him. "It's okay, Duck. I'm the one who's sorry. I overdid it, I went too far."

Duck smiled. "No problem."

Ace smiled too. After a short silence... "Tell you what... There's still no news from Tech and Slam. I don't think they'll be coming for a long time. I'm starving. Do you want to go out and get something to eat?"

"I'm not hungry." He said flatly.

Ace rolled his eyes. "I'm buying."

"You know what? I suddenly realized I'm hungry. And it would be good to get some air." Duck said while holding his stomach.

Ace rolled his eyes but was happy. Duck was still Duck.

Lexi smiled as she listened to them. "What-are-they-talking-about?" She was startled when Rev suddenly appeared next to her.

Slam and Tech had entered the mall. The mall was huge. There was food for alien life forms as well as earth food. The planet Blanc was home to many life forms in the universe.

"Okay... This will take a while." While Tech was searching for the 'earth food' section, Slam didn't care. This place was heaven to him. His mouth watered and he licked every part of his face with his big tongue.

Just as he was about to attack, "Slammmm..." When he looked in the direction of the voice, he saw the coyote looking at him with a frown. "NO." Slam hunched over, picked up the shopping cart next to him, and followed the coyote.

Duck and Ace were sitting in front of a buffet. Ace looked around while eating his hamburger. The Blanc planet had a much cleaner and more beautiful atmosphere compared to the gloomy atmosphere of Acmetropolis. When Ace looked up, he saw that the buildings were looking at him upside down. He felt like he was falling from a very high place. When he looked at Duck sitting across from him, he noticed that he was absently staring at the purple squid alien couple at the table next to him.

"Come on Duck, you've been watching them for ten minutes. Your food's already cold."

Duck imagined them as himself and Misty for a moment. "They look so ugly, but they're such a cute couple. Misty and I could be like that." After watching for a while. "What was I thinking? This was already one-sided. I tried but it didn't work. I couldn't get her attention." he said lost in thought.

Ace frowned after listening to her talk. "That's enough Duck. I don't want you to upset yourself thinking like that anymore." Duck looked at him in surprise.

"Come on, you haven't even been on the same planet for a few months now, and she's just an average news reporter living on Earth. But you're the Guardian of the Universe now. You're not even on the same level. Raise the bar a little. Like, she could be a princess of a planet, or a queen, or a warrior..."

Duck listened in surprise as Ace talked motivational things about him. "That's right! Forget Misty. It's time to level up!" He said, jumping up from his chair. Then he sat down. "Thank you." He said with a smile. He felt a little more comforted.

Ace smiled back at him. "You're welcome." And continued to eat his burger.

Duck raised an eyebrow as he watched him eat his burger. "So..."

"So what?" Ace said with his eyes closed, lost in the taste of the burger.

"So what about you and Lexi..."

Ace's eyes widened and he swallowed the burger in his mouth. "What about me and Lexi?"

"I don't know... You guys were always so close. Lexi's been a little distant lately."

Ace looked away, not knowing what to say about this.

Duck noticed. "She opened up to you and you rejected her, didn't you?"

Ace gave in. "Hey, I tried not to upset her when I did this, okay? How do you know that anyway?"

"Oh come on, we all knew that." Duck said.

"Ugh..." he said, leaning forward on the table. "I've been thinking of her as a close friend all this time. I didn't even know she thought of me as anything more than a friend until then."

"What did you tell her?"

"I told her that I wasn't looking for a relationship, that I couldn't give her what she expected from me, that it would be better for both of us if we just stayed friends, and that she deserved better than me."

"Let me guess... The problem wasn't her, it was you."

Ace looked away from Duck when he said that.

"Classic," he said, crossing his arms.

Suddenly, their communicators started beeping. A notification from the base. There seemed to be a problem. They looked at each other and got up from the table.

An orange inverted triangle appeared on the screen.

Ace and Duck entered the meeting room while the other Loonatics were looking at a large screen.

"Okay... What's going on Tech?" Ace asked when he and Duck arrived.

"We got a distress signal, Chief. It's from Planet Lava."

"Where is that?" Duck asked, scratching his head.

"The-hottest-planet-in-the-universe-consisting-of-only-magma-and-lava-with-no-oxygen-in-it."

"And it's home to the largest volcano ever discovered in the universe. This volcano has been dormant for thousands of years. But now it's active again. There are constant earthquakes on the planet right now. And the earthquakes are caused by this volcano." Coyote said as he looked at the screen in front of him.

"Wait-a-sec-Tech... Is-it-bigger-than-Mauna-Loa?"

"Yes Rev. It's bigger than Mauna Loa." Coyote said as Rev gulped.

"The Space Rangers are here to help." Lexi added.

"Well... If someone is there to help, we don't have to go." The action superhero said.

Ace rolled his eyes at Duck. "So what happens if the volcano erupts?"

"Well... We're talking about the largest volcano in the universe. And judging by the strength of the earthquakes... That wouldn't be good for the planet's inhabitants..."

Everyone looked worried. Things were getting more serious. "So do you have anything for that, Tech?"

"Give me a minute." He quickly went back to his lab. He placed his invention on the table. "'Freezegun-7000' freeze ray gun. This baby can freeze even the hottest planet in the universe." He said while petting his invention. "And I suggest heat resistant armor that can adapt to any climate."

"Nice work Tech... Loonatics, let's jet."

As everyone left the room, "Are you okay, Duck?" Lexi asked worriedly, placing a hand on Duck's shoulder.

"You were right Lex... It's time to level up. Now let's go freeze that volcano." He said and followed the others.

Lexi looked at him in surprise. There was no sign of Duck from a few hours ago.

Our heroes were approaching the planet with their spaceships. The planet looked bigger and scarier than it did on the screen. The Loonatics were looking at the planet with concern.

"Warning... You are approaching the evacuation zone. Identify yourselves." The Space Rangers warned. "We are the Guardians of the Universe. We are here to help." The leader spoke.

After a short silence, "Who?"

Ace rolled his eyes. "Loonatics."

After their identities were confirmed, "Entry granted. You may enter the planet Loonatics." They were still known by that name in the universe.

When they entered the planet, they noticed that the earth's crust was full of cracks due to earthquakes and there were large lava lakes everywhere. Smoke was coming out of the volcano. It looked like it could erupt at any moment. The surroundings were like hell. This scene made them a little more nervous.

When they landed at the Space Rangers' evacuation area, which was miles away from the volcano, the soldiers were trying to get the magma people on the planet into the evacuation ships under the orders of a captain named Malcom.

The sergeant welcomed the Loonatics and when they approached the Captain, the Captain was giving orders to his soldiers. "Sir! The Loonatics are here, sir!" The sergeant greeted.

Ace looked at him. He was a black man between the ages of 30 and 40, with short hair. He was wearing green heat shield armor just like the other soldiers.

"Understood soldier. You may return to your post. Loonatics, I am Captain Malcom." He held out his hand.

Ace shook his hand. "What's going on here Captain?"

"We are worried about the volcano erupting. There are major earthquakes happening around here. Our scientists think these earthquakes are not ordinary natural disasters. We are evacuating the planet's inhabitants just in case. We have mapped the area to see what is causing the earthquakes." The Loonatics watched him carefully as he took out a small pad from his back pocket.

A hologram appeared on the pad. "We have detected a huge heat mass under the volcano that extends all the way to the planet's core." He moved the hologram with his hand and showed them the map in detail.

Tech's eyes widened. "If it is powered by the planet's core, brings out the power of the core and the planet will be uninhabitable for its inhabitants after the volcano erupts." The heroes mugged.

"That's what we thought. Follow me." The captain put the pad back in its place and started walking. The soldiers and scientists around them moved quickly as they walked.

"We are on the hottest planet in the universe, so watch where you step." As the captain said this, a small lava bubble burst from the lava lake next to where Duck was walking. "Mommy!" and caused Duck to jump into Slam's arms.

"I don't know if you believe it or not, but... People are talking about a prophecy. According to their prophecy, this volcano will wake up and destroy their planet."

Ace looked to his side as he walked. Soldiers were trying to convince a group of residents with the help of a translator, but the residents were shouting and screaming.

They stood in front of the volcano that was far away from them and stared at it for a long time. "We did everything we could to stop the volcano from erupting but it didn't work. I don't know if we can evacuate everyone before it erupts." The Captain put his hands on his hips and looked at them. "Do you have a plan?"

Ace turned to the volcano and said, "Yeah, we have a plan." He smiled. "Loonatics, let's jet."

They flew towards the volcano. When they gathered around iy, Ace said, "Tech, it's time to get this baby working."

Tech smiled and shot the volcano with his freeze gun. He tried to freeze it for a long time but it didn't work at all. He tried from other angles but it didn't work. Tech said in frustration, "I don't understand... It's supposed to work. How is that possible?"

"Well, it can't freeze every planet." It was Duck. Tech looked at him in disappointment.

The Captain was watching them with his soldiers in the evacuation zone. "I hope you have a plan 'B' because it doesn't seem to be working." he communicated via com.

As the Tech began to search the hologram in his hand for the cause, he suddenly gasped. "The temperature in the area is getting hotter." The temperature gauge was rising.

"Yeah, it's getting really hot in here." Lexi said, wiping her forehead.

"Does-that-mean-the-volcano-could-erupt-at-any-moment?" Rev panicked.

Ace thought quickly. When he looked around, he saw a giant boulder a short distance away. He smiled. "Lexi, Slam, come with me."

"Lexi, we're going to break the boulder," he ordered as they reached the boulder.

"Got it Ace." Lexi was ready.

"Slam... You're going to plug the hole in the volcano with the boulder."

"Got it."

Ace and Lexi circled the boulder with laser eyes and brain blasts. Slam grabbed the boulder and lifted it with difficulty. The Loonatics watched the demon, hoping it would work. Slam flew towards the top of the volcano with his jetpack, holding the giant rock. He was sweating as he stood on it. When he looked inside the volcano, he saw the lava slowly rising. He leveled the rock perfectly.

"Ready!" he shouted.

"Duck, now!" Ace shouted.

Duck teleported next to Slam and teleported Slam to a safe area under the rock and they ran away from the scene with the others. The large rock fell, covering the hole in the volcano and smoke spread all around. Everyone covered their faces.

The magma people with the soldiers looked at the volcano thinking that everything was over. The Loonatics landed next to them. After waiting a little longer to make sure everything was over, "Nice job." Malcolm smiled at them.

Lexi smiled at him, but she heard a voice coming from the volcano. After she put her hands on her forehead to focus, there was a huge earthquake. The whole place started shaking and cracking. The Loonatics quickly took off, but some soldiers and magma people were not as lucky. Before the leader could even speak, Rev quickly went and started saving the people in danger. While Tech used his magnekinetic powers to get an evacuation ship full of magma people that were about to fall through the cracks to safety, Slam pulled a tank full of soldiers that was about to fall underground. One of the soldiers got out of the tank and said, "Thanks man." Slam smiled at him.

Ace turned to the volcano. As the earthquake continued, a loud noise was heard and the volcano suddenly erupted. The volcano broke the rock on top of it into pieces, causing the pieces to fall on them like meteors. The Loonatics watched the horrific sight in shock.

"Fire! FIRE!" Malcom ordered his soldiers to fire at the rocks. The soldiers started shooting at the rocks with all the technology they had. The Loonatics were destroying the rocks with their superpowers. After a while, the pieces were gone and the earthquake stopped, and everything was covered in smoke.

"Is everyone okay?" Ace coughed and called out to his teammates. He couldn't see anything because of the smoke. "Yeah, we're fine." Com relaxed after hearing the others' voices. When he looked around, he saw that some soldiers and residents were injured. He wanted to help them, but the soldiers who were already in good condition were helping them. The Captain was also helping carry the injured. After a while, the smoke cleared and everyone looked at the volcano again.

"Is it over?" Duck asked curiously. Suddenly, a notification came to the Captain's pad. Then it came to Tech's. The temperature of the volcano was increasing even more. "Oh no..." Suddenly, another big earthquake happened and the volcano started to rise. Everyone watched the volcano rise. The thing in front of them was a giant Magma-Titan with yellow eyes. The volcano was just the tip of the iceberg. Everyone looked at what was in front of them in shock.

"What the heck is that thing!?" The warship pilot flying around it spoke in panic over the radio. "Sir? What are your orders sir?!" The soldiers were waiting for Malcom's order. But he was just staring at the Titan.

"The-volcano-is-actually-a-giant-KAIJU!" Rev panicked.

The magma people knelt down and began to pray incoherently as if begging. Ace looked at them and looked at the Titan. When the Titan looked around, it saw them. Then it shouted towards the sky. Lexi was holding her ears and screaming in pain, while the soldiers were holding their helmets. The magma people started to run away in panic.

Malcom came out of his trance and shouted "FIRE! FIRE EVERYTHING!" over the radio to all the soldiers. Tanks, warships, guns. The Space Rangers started firing. Missiles and lasers were flying in the air. They hit every part of the Titan and caused explosions. It screamed in pain. The Captain ordered, "All loaded evacuation ships must take off! Now!" The ships started to take off.

The Titan got up on two legs and slammed the ground with all its strength. This caused a huge shockwave to form around him, cracking the ground and sending lava flying. The cracking reached the evacuation area miles away. As everyone shook, Rev grabbed hold and started rescuing everyone in danger.

Tech realized what was in front of him. "Prophecy."

Everyone looked at him

"The volcano will wake up and destroy the planet. It's the one who will do it. It's the destroyer of the prophecy!" He pointed at the Titan.

"But why?" Lexi asked sadly.

"That doesn't matter. We have to stop it before it destroys this planet. Chief?"

Ace was forming a plan in his mind. The Titan was approaching them. The battleships maneuvered and launched missiles at the Titan. "Our weapons don't work on this thing sir! ARRGH!" The Titan hit a ship passing in front of it, blowing it up. "NO!" The Captain shouted.

"Tech, can you make a weapon that can stop this monster?"

Tech looked around. He saw a huge laser cannon on the mothership that was currently firing at the Titan. "I have something in mind, but I need time to do it."

"Hurry up. We don't have much time. Rev, help Tech. Let's jet Loonatics." They headed towards the Titan.

"Captain... Can you take us there?" He pointed at the laser cannon.

"Follow me."

__________

The Loonatics were approaching the Titan.

"Any ideas on how to distract this thing?!" Duck asked.

"We'll maneuver around it. We'll use our superpowers to draw its attention. Be careful, no one gets toast." As the leader said this, they split up and attacked the Titan. They were like flies flying around it compared to the Titan.

The Titan tried to hit them. Lexi and Ace maneuvered and attacked with lasers and brain blasts. An explosion occurred in its belly and magma pieces fell to the ground. The Titan cried out in pain.

Duck was throwing the largest spheres he could at it. Just as the Titan was about to hit him, Duck noticed this and quaked away. Slam came from under its legs and punched it in the jaw with all his strength, knocking the Titan off balance and taking a few steps back in a daze.

"Tech... What is your situation?" Ace asked on the com while the other loonatics distracted the Titan.

"I'm still working on it Ace. I need a little more time." He said as he modified his own invention of a freeze gun to the giant laser cannon on the mothership. Captain Malcom watched him curiously.

Rev quickly found all the equipment Tech wanted and brought it. "What's-your-plan-Tech?"

"I think the reason my invention couldn't freeze the volcano was because the weapon didn't have enough power output. I intend to modify my weapon to this cannon to increase its freezing power even more. But that means using all of my weapon's power at once. I'll only get one shot."

"I hope it works. There are still those who haven't been evacuated and... My men are still out there." He said sadly, looking at the battlefield.

Rev looked at him sadly. "Don't-worry-Captain... It'll-work."

The Titan was getting closer to the evacuation zone. Ace slashed the Titan with his sword and lava gushed out from the cuts. Slam approached the Titan for another punch. He managed to dodge the first attack but was punched by the second and flew into the air and crashed into a mountain. "Slam?!" Lexi shouted. She got angry and attacked its eyes with a brain blast. The Titan shouted after its eye exploded.

Duck went to Slam. "Arrrghhh."

"Slam, are you okay?!" Duck helped him by getting on his shoulder. "I'm okay." He nodded to him.

"Is he okay?" Ace shouted.

"Yeah, he's okay!"

"You guys get out of there!" Tech contacted the Loonatics on the com. Duck and Slam teleported away. Lexi and Ace flew away.

Tech was at the laser cannon's control panel when Rev saw his teammates getting away from the Titan. "All clear Tech. Take your best shot!" Tech aimed at the Titan and was ready to fire. "Fire!" Tech pulled the trigger as the Captain ordered. When Tech fired, the cannon's barrel was completely shattered. A large and long blue ice beam hit the Titan. The Titan screamed in pain as it quickly began to freeze over. Once it was completely frozen, its screams stopped and it remained standing motionless.

The soldiers, magma people and loonatics in the evacuation zone looked at the Titan, hoping that it was over. After a few seconds of silence, the ice cracked and the Titan shattered into frozen pieces and fell away. It was over. Ace's plan and Tech's invention had worked.

“Yesssss!” Lexi jumped like a cheerleader.

Tech sighed in relief and Rev quickly hugged him, "Sweet sweet sweet." Tech blinked. "Nice shot dog." The captain put his hand on Tech's shoulder and smiled. "I'm a coyote." He said with a flat expression.

Ace let out a deep breath. He put his hands on his knees and leaned forward. Duck, Slam, and Lexi gathered around him and smiled. Ace looked at his teammates and smiled. "Good shot Tech." He said on his coyote's com.

"Danger Duck and his crew save the day once again." he said, striking a hero pose. Lexi rolled her eyes at him.

All that was left of the Titan was an upright arm that hadn't been torn apart.

Tech and Rev came between them as the Loonatics watched the magma people's happiness in front of their ship. "You-were-great-Tech! You-were-so-cool-man! You-had-one-shot-but-not-even-a-drop-of-sweat-ran-down-your-forehead. You-didn't-even-blink-when-you-were-firing. You-were-great. Did-I-mention-that? You-were-great!"

"Yeah Tech... That was a good shot." Lexi said with a smile on her lips.

"Heh... Let's call it a talent from my ancestors." When the coyote said this, Roadrunner's face suddenly fell while smiling and Slam chuckled.

Ace watched his friends chatting and smiled. Then he saw Captain Malcom. Malcom was talking to the Sergeant. The Sergeant gave him the digital tags of the soldiers who lost their lives in the fight and saluted and left. Malcom looked at the tags in his hand sadly and clenched his fist. Ace watched him with softened eyes.

Then he came to the Loonatics. "Thank you for your help, Loonatics. If it weren't for you, we might have had to find another planet for these people. They are all grateful to you."

Ace looked at the magma people behind Malcom. They were all looking at our heroes curiously. A small magma boy ran towards the loonatics and stood in front of Ace. Ace looked at him in surprise and bent down to be his height. The boy took a small rock from behind him and put it in Ace's hand and smiled. Ace looked at him and smiled. "Thank you for this nice gift little one. It looks just like you." he said and winked at him. The boy smiled at him and turned back to his family.

"We'll take care of the rest. Thanks again." Malcom and Ace shook hands. Then everyone started to board the ship. Ace was the last to leave. "I'm sorry about your men Captain." he said standing in front of the door.

"This is our job Ace... We sacrifice our lives to save lives." He said sadly, opening his arms. Ace thought about what he said and boarded the ship. The magma people waved at the heroes as Tech lifted the ship. Malcolm and the soldiers watched them go.

The return to Planet Blanc had begun.

"Gggggggıııııoooogggggghhhh" Slam's stomach was churning. He looked very hungry.

Ace smiled at him. "You can eat the whole fridge when we get home Slam. You deserve it buddy." Slam smiled back and licked his lips. He couldn't wait to get back to base.

He looked at the others. Lexi and Duck were taking a nap in their seats from exhaustion. Tech was driving the ship while Rev was watching the stars. He was happy that they were okay. He looked at the rock in his hand. He thought of the digital tags that Malcom held in his hand.

He thought about what it felt like to lose his comrades.

This is our job Ace... We sacrifice our lives to save lives...

He didn't agree with the captain. For Ace, the lives of his friends were more important than the lives of others. What kind of hero and leader would that make him? Could he continue to think like that? If he were to be in a dilemma, which one would he choose? He stopped thinking about it for now and watched the beautiful stars with his tired eyes.

Notes:

We realized that there were no black characters in the series. (Massive is blue skin color). And yes, the word that came to Duck's mind in the word game scene was 'Penis'.
