“Is he always like… that?”
“Oh yeah, you get used to it.”
Megan’s laugh is soft even as Serena sighs. As usual Zach is intent on getting answers to his questions but Megan hasn’t much cared since she finally got away from her last partner. Zach at least cares for her, even if he’s driving the new girl a little crazy.
“Hey, Zach…”
Megan calls him over and her voice drops.
“Relax would ya?”
“Sorry.”
Serena’s smile is quick, instant and Megan finds she looks away to avoid giving away her interest.
“Just don’t do it again. Ya big meanie.”
