Eunseok was panicking. Christmas was weeks away and he had no idea what to get the other members of RIIZE. He wanted to get each of them something special and that they would actually like. Eunseok had started looking for gifts for the other 6 back in October and now it was a week into December and he still hadn’t gotten any of them a gift yet.
RIIZE had the afternoon off and Eunseok was determined to find gifts for all the members today. “I'm heading out,” He called, pulling on his shoes and jacket.
“Where are you going?” Wonbin asked, popping his head out to check on Eunseok.
“Shopping,” Eunseok answered.
“Oh, can I come?” Wonbin asked, going to grab his stuff.
“Nope,” Eunseok answered, turning him down.
“Aw, why not?” Wonbin whined.
“I’m doing Christmas shopping,” Eunseok explained.
“Will you be home for dinner?” Wonbin asked, changing the subject
“Hopefully,” Eunseok answered, walking out the front door.
Eunseok decided to start in Gangnam hoping to pick up some clothing or accessories for Wonbin and Shotaro. Thankfully unlike his previous attempts, Eunseok was actually able to find something for both of them. He bought a new shirt for Wonbin and some floral-scented perfume for Shotaro.
Next, Eunseok headed to Hongdae to see what he could find for Sungchan and Sohee. Eunseok wandered the neighborhood window shopping looking for anything that caught his attention. Walking by a comic book shop Eunseok noticed a Lego set in the window and immediately thought of Anton. Eunseok quickly walked into the store and searched the shelves for the same set. Finding it Eunseok briefly checked the price before grabbing it and heading to the register.
Lego set in hand Eunseok continued on his way searching for gifts for the final three members. He had some general ideas for Sungchan and Sohee but had no idea what to buy Seunghan. He wanted to get him something extra special to show his feelings and support for Seunghan but nothing seemed right. Putting these thoughts to the side, Eunseok went back to trying to find something for Sungchan and Sohee.
It took another hour and a half but Eunseok was almost done. He had found a new hat for Sohee and a watch for Sungchan. All that was left was Seunghan. He thought about buying him something like a pair of shoes but that didn’t seem enough to show just how much Seunghan meant to him.
Eunseok was on the verge of giving up and heading back to the dorm without a gift for Sueghan when he saw it. A signed Chelsae F.C. jersey in a store window. Eunseok didn’t know much about soccer but he knew that Chelsae F.C. was Seunghan’s favorite soccer team and that Fernando Torres was his favorite player. Walking into the store Eunseok went to the cash register and asked, “Hello I saw the Jersey in the window and I was wondering what player it was for?”
“One moment while I go check,” The clerk said, walking to the window to check the Jersey.
“It looks like it is a Fernando Torres jersey,” The clerk answered.
Eunseok couldn’t believe his luck. He found the perfect gift for Seunghan: it was his favorite team and favorite player. “Is the signature authentic?” Eunseok checked, already taking out his wallet.
“Yes, it is. That is also why it is on the expensive side,” The clerk answered.
“That’s fine, I'd like to buy it,” Eunseok said.
Elated that he had found gifts for the rest, Eunseok headed back to the dorm and managed to be only a couple of minutes late for dinner. “Sorry, I’m late,” Eunseok called, kicking his shoes off.
“It’s okay how was your afternoon?” Shotaro asked, looking up from the table where all the members were eating dinner.
“It was really good. I have to drop these bags in my room then I can tell you about it,” Eunseok answered, heading to drop the bags in his room.
