“Alright, who here has not gone ice skating before?” Sungchan asked, looking at the other members.
“I haven’t” Sohee confessed
“Really you’ve never been ice skating?” Wonbin asked, looking genuinely flabbergasted at the idea that Sohee had never been ice skating.
“Me either,” Shotaro said.
“ I can hold your hand,” Sungchan immediately volunteered, grabbing Shotaro’s hand in his own.
“And I'll hold yours,” Seunghan offered, eagerly reaching for Sohee’s hand.
Sungchan and Shotaro decided the best way to ease Shotaro into skating was to start holding on to the edge of the rink and then work their way up. Seunghan the other hand had a different idea. Seunghan grabbed Sohee’s hand and pulled out onto the ice with him not bothering with stick close to the side.“Careful Hani,” Eunseok warned, skating by the already unsteady duo.
Cackling Seunghan ignored Eunseok’s warning and continued to pull Sohee after him. Sohee shakily let himself be pulled along terrified of falling. Just when Sohee felt himself starting to feel a little more comfortable on the ice he felt his balance start to waver afraid of falling he blindly reached out grabbing onto Seunghan with his free hand.
Unfortunately, Seunghan was not prepared for the sudden shift in weight and his skate slipped causing him to lose balance both of them crashing down onto the ice. Seunghan cried out as he threw up his arm to try and protect his face as he went crashing down on the ice only to have Sohee land on top of him a second later. “Are you okay?” Wonbin asked, skating over to check on the duo.
“Are you hurt?” Eunseok asked, joining skating over as well.
Seunghan felt Sohee being lifted off of him and then Wonbin and Eunseok were helping him to stand up on the ice. “Are you hurt?” Shotaro called from the edge of the rink.
“No, I’m cold and wet though,” Seunghan whined, bending to dust the ice off of his knees.
“How about we head home and try ice skating again on a different day,” Sungchan suggested, guiding him and Shotaro toward the entrance.
“Yeah that sounds like a good idea,” Anton agreed, going to exit the rink.
“You don’t have to. I’m probably just going to sit on the side to warm up,” Seunghan said, wobbly making his way to the exit.
“No no, it’s fine,” Eunesok assured, helping Sohee off the ice.
“Yeah, Ice skating wasn’t really a good idea anyway since some of us have never been and we have a comeback soon and don’t want to be injured,” Shotaro agreed, sitting on the bench to unlace his skates.
“If you’re sure…” Seunghan reluctantly agreed feeling guilty over running the fun because of his overconfidence.
“Yep plus now we can go back to the dorm and drink hot cocoa,” Anton said.
“You drink so much hot cocoa I’m surprised you’re not made of it yet,” Sungchan joked.
“Hey, I don’t drink that much,” Anton tried to defend himself.
Seunghan brought his hands up blowing on them trying to warm himself up. Noticing how Seunghan was shivering Eunseok pulled his hoodie off and handed it to Seunghan, “Hani here you go,”
“Thank you,” Seunghan answered, gratefully pulling the oversized hoodie on
The hoodie absolutely dwarfed Seunghan leaving him looking tiny. In a change of the usual roles, Sohee took this opportunity to coo over Seunghan reaching out and pinching his cheeks. Blushing Seunghan batted his hands. “Let’s go home,” Sungchan suggested, returning the last of their skates.
