   Summary

Like every year before, Pen returns home for Christmas, prepared to deal with her condescending and obnoxious family so she can enjoy the annual village festival. For the first time, though, she is entering the cake decorating competition held at Aubrey Hall, and she is going to try to win the whole thing and knock Cressida Cowper off her high horse.

However, she's surprised to find out that Colin Bridgerton, fresh out of a horrible break-up and home from his travels for once, will be a judge...

And he definitely did not just ask her on a date.

   It's not possible.
