Hey readers!

This is my first time publishing my own fic to AO3, so I hope everyone finds it enjoyable to read :DD.

Thank you, Joel, one of my good friends for being a beta reader of mine. This is for all of my online friends who've created their own parts of the story for this fic, we've all worked really hard on it in our own way and I think that's amazing.

With that out of the way, I hope everyone likes it!!

Chapter 1: Prologue - The night out

Chapter Text

A girl ran out of the living room with her hoodie and jacket on. She had been crying, in front of her angry mother. Her mom had been yelling a lot. Why can't my mom just accept me for my powers? The daughter didn't care anymore, at all. Her eyes were dull.

"Yeah, and don't you dare come back here ever again!" Her mom yelled out. Her luggage was ready, it was a backpack full of mostly clothes, her charger and her wallet that had some money. She decided to go to her dads. She put her mesmerizing atlantic blue hood up and stayed silent, as she stepped out the front door with the feeling of hopelessness. Before running out, she looked one last time at her mother.

Her mother was already looking out the other way, ignoring everything. Ignoring her own daughter, not caring at all what happened. It felt painful to her daughter's chest, she couldn't handle it.

I'll never see sis again. She decided to run out to the apartment's stairs full of tears on her face, closing the door one last fucking time. She knew this was the end of her and her mother's relationship. It was already nighttime and raining, but she still ran out. She rushed out to the city streets from their tiny apartment to the alleyways. The city streets were empty, as she figured it would be. It was nighttime anyway. Minutes later, she was soaking wet. She knew she shouldn't use her powers in public, even in alleyways.

She was full of rage and sadness, she couldn't help it. She took out her arms to the rain, looking up at the dark, gloomy clouds. "Creativity becomes reality." As she had said that, an axe had appeared in her arms. Her arms were swinging at the back of the alleyway walls, it made a tiny mark on the wall. "So fucking stupid. So stupid of you to think they would accept you." She kept swinging, she didn't care. Her eyes and cheeks were red from the tears. "Your mom is right, you're a freak, forever having these powers." She said, accepting her thoughts about the events of that night.

Stupid. She made more marks on the wall out of frustration. She stopped, to enjoy some quiet, and then realized what she had just done. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Repeating over in her mind. Someone could've seen me, this is bad. The axe had disappeared from her hands, and she decided to hurry before anyone saw her. She then decided that she was done with everyone, even though she hasn't seen her dad or brother in years. She wanted to be independent all on her own, deciding not to go to her dads anymore.

Her mind was full of negative thoughts. She walked through the wet weather streets, she felt her hair was wet as well as everything on her. She didn't care, she could use her powers anyway and all the powerless people wouldn't know about the people who had powers. There was a beach she saw after walking for a bit. She had been on that beach many times before, with her whole family. After her mom and dad's relationship came to an end, her mother, her sister and she rarely went to the beach.

Good old times, too bad it ended oh so very soon. She was frustrated that everything happened as it did. The girl decided to go to the beach, just to take a look. The misty sea looked pretty mysterious, she had always wondered about the sea. She calmed down immediately after hearing the waves crash into the wet sand particles. She took a closer look and quickly tried out the salty waters with her finger. It was cold. Hm. I wonder if I'll ever go sailing out… Nope, do not distract yourself, you went here because of something else. She walked off from the seashore and went into one of the beach bathroom stalls, it was made out of wood and the corners of the stall were full of spider cobwebs.

It was a cramped space, which she didn't like. She decided to look if anyone else was in her surroundings first, just to be safe. No one was there. "Ugh… Let's just do this fast." She sighed and took her atlantic dark blue hood off. Her hair was darker when it was wet. "Creativity becomes reality." She said again, but this time whispering and with more of a sad and disappointed tone in her voice. She concentrated for a few moments. Her body was disappearing purple particle by particle, moments after she had the ability to teleport. Eventually, she was nowhere to be seen or to be heard again. Or was she?
