Can’t believe he agreed to this. This summer morning, He was just doing some work on his latest invention when suddenly Mikey appeared and started yelling at him for something he can’t refuse.
“Dee! Lets go water tubing together!” The Box Turtle said happily. Water tubing? Is he nuts? The last time they did that, Raph turned savage again and nearly killed them all. So its best to tell Mikey what he is thinking right now.
“Sorry Mikey. But you do remember what happened when we did some water tubing last time with Leo and Raph.” Donnie said. But it seems like that Mikey wouldn’t take a no for an answer.
“Oh ok, you don’t want to take me? Well fine guess like I’ll just have to go by myself. Where if Dad, Leo and especially Raph finds out that I’m gone, their gonna freak out and blame you for not coming with me.” Mikey said while in Doctor Delicate Touch mode.
Sigh. Guess like he has no choice but to go with his baby brother. Especially since he was getting kinda freaked out by his Doctor Delicate Touch personality.
“Fine Angelo. I’ll come with you.” Donnie said being annoyed. “Yay! Now lets go get our tubes from the garage!” Mikey said as he dashes out of the lab.
And so Donnie follows him to where their tubes are. But what they don’t know is that in an hour, their going to regret doing this together.

It had been about 15 minutes since they have left the lair and he still doesn’t know where Mikey is taking them.
“Micheal? Are you sure that you know where we’re going? We’ve been walking in an endless labyrth for like 15 minutes!” Donnie complained. “Yes, I’m sure I know where we’e going as. {gasp} I think this is the location.” Mikey said.
And so the two brothers runs to where Mikey is pointing that. And turns out that he is right. That this spot is perfect for them to do some water tubing.
“Wow Mikey. This is awesome.” Donnie said in astonished.
“That’s right Dee. And don’t forget that last one in the water with their tube is a rotten egg!” Mikey said as he runs to the water with Donnie running after him.
And so once they got into the water with their tubes they start having a race to see who can get to the other side first. And oh boy what an intense race it was.
With a lot of {swoosh} and a dash of {splash} and lets not forget about the {spin} this is sure the most intense water tubing race ever!

Until 3 minutes later, they both cross the finish line. And it turns out to be a tie.
“Wait a minute? We both went through the finish line at the same time Dee.” Mikey said to Donnie as they head to the surface.
“Yeah, its strange. But hopefully we’ll be able to solve this with a quick game of Rock, Paper, Scissor.” Donnie said to Mikey.
But then just before they start playing it, they suddenly hear a rumble and water streaming in fast. Which Donnie can tell by the water pooling around their feet.
“I think we should head back home now Angelo.” Donnie said. “Why? Weren’t we doing a tiebreaker?” Mikey said confused.
But before Donnie could answer, suddenly a gate closes the entrance to the side of the sewers they’re in which scares both Donnie and Mikey. And when Donnie tries to open it, he sees that its bolted shut.
But how could this be? Why is there water streaming in? Unless….of course. He remembered the news in the living room’s TV. About how there’s a massive rainstorm flooding the streets of New York, with a lot of waters pouring into the sewer system.
And the reason why the place here today was dry is because someone is trying to block the water from pouring into the sewers. And the area that they blocked the water in from coming, is the same area that he and Mikey are in now.
“Dee? Whats going to happen? Are we going to drown?” Mikey said worriedly. “No Angelo. We’re not going to die here. There must be an exit here somewhere.” Donnie Sid as he looks around.
But both gates have been sealed in, and the water was coming in really fast as it starts to cause the two of them to float.
And even though Donnie can float really well, Mikey is having a hard time floating because he is a Box Turtle. So seeing his little brother starting to drown, Donnie throws one of the tubes at him. And once he grabs onto it, the book turtle mutant stops drowning and is ok now much to his relief.

Until….{Crashing noises}
Suddenly a bunch of pile of rubbles comes tumbling down. And whats even more worse for them is that donnie gets hit by them. And because of this he gets sent underwater with the box turtle watching everything that happened right now.
“DEE!” Mikey screamed.
He just saw Donnie get smashed into oblivion by those piles. Like, what kind of damage did it caused them to fall on top of his brother.
But now’s not to time to question this, as he needs to swim down there and see if his brother is ok. And even though he’s a terrible swimmer, he dives into the water anyways in hopes of finding Donnie and seeing if he is still alive.
Until eventually he finds Donnie laying unconscious with a bunch of piles laid on top of him. And seeing this gives the box turtle a fright, as if he doesn’t do anything about this, his brother would be dead for sure.
And so he swims towards the wreckage and attempts to pull Donnie out of it while also trying not to lose too much air.
But it was too hard because Mikey’s just a small turtle while Donnie is a big turtle. And besides that, he knew that this would be difficult, but he still wanted to save his brother from drowning.
“Wait a minute. That’s it. I front that I have brought my Kusari-Fundou with me today.” Mikey thought as he happily pulls out his weapon. And realising this, he figures that he could use it to the pull the wreckage out of Donnie, thus freeing him and saving his life.
And so the box turtle uses the weapon on the wreckage. And with one big swing, the wreackage gets destroyed and Donnie is freed, even though he is still a bit unconscious. But now’s not the time to think about it as they both need to swim for air and try to find a way out of here.
And so Mikey grabs Donnie and swims back to the air.
But then just before he reaches the surface suddenly a wreckage moved by the water comes by really fast and hits both brothers and not only does this causes Donnie to float back to the surface, but it also causes Mikey to fly into some discarded nets and gets tangled in them.
And whats even worse now is that the box turtle has reached his breathing limit. And so as Mikey coughs out the remaining air he had, he starts to inhale water while trying to get out of this sticky situation in a panic.
All he wanted was to have fun with one of his brothers. But because of him, he had put both of them in peril. He didn’t know that there would be a rainy storm that floods everything, he didn’t realise that Donnie wanted them to leave is because of this. And he didn’t know that all of this is his fault.
He felt ashamed of what happened to them today, as he stops trying to free himself from the nets and his limbs just goes limp. He may die from this, but he is glad that Donnie might still be alive if the gates finally open.
And so as he inhales the water one more time….he blacks out with a smile on his face.

When Donnie floated up to the surface, the first thing he di was wake up and cough out all of the water, he had. But he when he came back to his senses, he had like a million questions.
Like what happened? Why am I in the surface? Didn’t I just get knocked out by a falling wreckage? And where’s Mikey?
The last question deeply concerned him. But whats more concerning is that the area is almost flooded with sewage water as Donnie tries to get his head out of the water. But he still remembers about Mikey and if he is going to be ok.
“Well guess like I have no choice. I’m coming to get you Mikey.” Donnie said as he takes one last breathe before diving into the water and going out to find his little brother.
But he needs to be quick as he has about 1 minute of holding his breathe and the area had been fully flooded. Until eventually he finds Mikey but is scared to see that his baby brother had blacked out.
He realised that Mikey had saved his life in exchange for his. He was starting to panic about this, he was-.
No! No way is he letting Mikey die on him or his family.
And so using his {surprisedly not broken} Battleshell with claws in it, he was able to cut through the nets and free Mikey from it. But they still need to get out of it and fast. Because it appears that Donnie can’t hold onto his air much longer.
And so grabbing his Tech-Bo, he attempts to destroy the gate by using it as a hammer before his breath holding time runs out and he also drowns.
And despite his efforts and a few cracks to the gate later, he runs out of air and starts inhaling water too. This is bad, like really bad. Now he’s going to die alongside his brother, who might be already dead.
But then by some kind of miracle. Before the softshell turtle also blacks out, the Gate finally breaks as it spews out a lot of water including Donnie and Mikey out of the flooded area.
And once they are on the surface, Donnie coughs up a bunch of water before eventually seeing Mikey and becomes worried about him.
“Mikey, are you ok? Talk to me bud. Michael?” Donnie asked as runs towards mikey and he tries to wake up his little brother.
But unfortunately for him, when he tries to feel the box turtle’s pulse he realised that…..
He has none. And that his heart has stopped too.

“No, no, no, no, no no! Mikey, don’t leave me. You can’t be dead no!” Donnie said as he starts to panic about this.
His little brother was dead and there was nothing he could do to save him now. If his family finds out about this, they would be really devastated by it and they would blame him for causing Mikey to die.
But then he noticed that his Battleshell had launched a defibrillator out of it. And even though it pains him to do this, it seems like he has no choice but to use it on Mikey. Hoping that this might be the only way of saving him.
And so after turning on the defibrillator and placing the pads on the box turtle, Donnie was already getting traumatised by the sound of the heart monitor on it blasting into his ears. He get it! Mikey’s dead but hopefully not dead for long.
And so after rubbing the 2 rubber pads together, it was now time to revive Mikey.
“Clear!” Donnie screamed.
And so he uses the 2 rubber pads onto mikey’s body which electrocute him but is not causing him to bounce hard. And so Donnie tries again.
2 times and no motions from the box turtle’s body as that flatlining noise still goes on. But Donnie still tries again.
3 times and still no motions. It’s not working he thought but he still tries once more.
4 times and like always still no motion. Now he’s getting more desperate then ever.
And so he pulls the rubber pads out of the box turtle’s chest and starts hitting it a bunch of time in rage and anguish.
“Mikey! Don’t you dare leave me! I’m getting sick of listening to that noise! I don’t want to see you dead! So please, please I beg of you! Live!” Donnie screamed in anguish.
But it might be too late, as the flatlining noise was still going. And even though he tries so hard to ignore it, it just couldn’t go away. This was getting hopeless, especially to him.

“MIKEY!!!”
Until after one more hit in the chest.
Mikey finally wakes up with a painful gasp and starts coughing up water really harshly.
And when he sees this, he froze in place. Maybe from shock or surprise. And as he hears the heart monitor going back to that normal sound, he couldn’t believe what he had saw.
He just saved his little brother from death. He was about to be on the verge of giving up but for some reason, it seems like Mikey heard what he said and came back to life.
And then after the coughing fit was over, the box turtle lies down and starts breathing heavily. Donnie didn’t cry because of it.
But when Mikey woke up after a few seconds, the softshell turtle tries not to burst into tears.
He was so close to losing his brother. And he couldn’t think about what would happened if he and Mikey both died in the water together.
“D-Dee? Is everything ok? Are you crying?” Mikey asked Donnie. And this question causes Donnie to finally break down and start crying, as he grabs his baby brother and hugs him.
“Oh sweet, sweet Angelo. I was so scared that I would lose you forever.” Donnie said with tears in his eyes.
“What do you mean Dee?” Mikey asked. “You died, you died and I had to revive you. You were dead for 5 minutes, and I was about to be on the verge of giving up. I’m so sorry. I should’ve warned you earlier about the flood and the rainy storm.” Donnie said with guilt is his eyes.
Mikey couldn’t believe what he had heard. He was dead for about 5 minutes and it shook him to the core. It was his fault that Donnie was now crying really hard.
“You know Dee. It’s me who should be sorry. I shouldn’t have invited you over to do some water tubing with me. And if I did, you wouldn’t be crying, filled with guilty and having to revive him. Mikey said while also trying not to cry.
“Hey Mikey, don’t blame yourself. You simply didn’t know that this could happened. But we’re ok now. And that’s a fact you should not hide from, ok?” Donnie said while wiping away his tears.
“Ok Dee.” Mikey said helping Donnie.
And so the two of them just sat in silence as Donnie presses the panic button to alert both Leo and Raph to their location.
Until after 2 minutes of waiting in silence. They are founded by Leo and Raph who are both concerned about the two of them.
“Donnie, my favourite twin. What happened to you?” Leo asked.
“Yeah and what happened to you too Mikey.” Raph also asked.
“It’s a long story, you guys. I’m sure we will be able to explain it to you guys when we get back home ok?” Donnie replied as Leo and Raph responds to the question by nodding their head meaning yes/ok
And so the 4 turtles head back to the Lair as both Mikey and Donnie look at each other and smile.
The softshell turtle had to admit that even though the day stopped being fun by them being trapped in a flood and Mikey dying. He’s still glad that the two of them are still alive.
And he can’t wait to do some more water tubing with Mikey, once it stops raining.
As he seems like it would be more safe to do it while the weather’s being sunny rather then the weather’s being rainy.
