Summary
Mai Patterson had not had an easy childhood, not after her parents' tragic death and her quirks new limitations. Sent off to learn at UA, the best hero school in Japan, she runs into a rowdy boy who hates her almost as much as she hates him. But one thing leads to another, and she soon realizes she doesn't hate him as much when he's making her soup in the middle of the night. Maybe he isn't that bad?
Mai isn't the ordinary student, but neither are any of the other young heroes, but things take a turn for the worst when the League of Villains start to become more problematic. Will her old group of friends be able to understand these new feelings, or will she have to go out in search of someone who she's come to know and trust? One blasty hero who yells more than necessary but is quiet when you need them to might be her only hope of making it out of UA alive.
