Work Text:
Camila sat in the small breakroom of the veterinary clinic, popping another potato chip into her mouth, when the receptionist stuck her head into the room, eyes locking onto the older woman
“Hey, Camila. You got a phone call…” She said, as Camila rose from her seat and followed her coworker to the lobby/ slash waiting room
The young blonde handed over the the handset, and she stated her name to whomever was calling her
“Ms. Noceda?” Willow muttered, and immediately she picked up on the twinge of worry in the young witches voice
“Willow, is everything okay?” She asked, a sense of dread building inside of her
“I’m not sure, there is something wrong with Amity….”
Camila reassured her that she would be right there, and took the afternoon off due to a family crisis
She sped home, fearing the worst. She pulled into the drive, and clambered out of the car as fast as she could.
Gus opened the door as soon as he saw the familiar car pull in, and stepped aside as Camila power walked up the sidewalk
“Okay, what happened?” She asked, trying to remain as calm as she could
“We don’t know. We went to the market to get some food, and Amity bought something, and has been acting weird ever since she ate it!” Gus said, rubbing his hands together nervously
“Where is she, it could be an allergic reaction…” Camila muttered, not knowing what human foods could do to witch biology
“Weirdest reaction I’ve ever seen…” Hunter commented, getting a tap on the arm from Willow as they led the head of the household to the hallway
“She’s in here….” Willow said, peering around the corner
Camila glanced around the corner, and could not believe what she was seeing
Amity stood, staring lovingly at a framed picture of Luz on the wall, her face red
“Luuuush, I LOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEE YOU!!!!!”
Camila raised her eyebrow, “What did she have?”
Hunter handed her the small box, as Camila's eyes widened at it. “These coffee flavored chocolates she found….” He stated
She flipped it over, eyes scanning the ingredients, Ah, yup. There was alcohol in these.
“And, she ate all of them I suppose?” Camila asked, the three sober witchling's nodded
“Well, hopefully it doesn’t get any wo—” Camila began to think to herself, when she heard Amity wail in despair
“Why won’t you say it back?” Amity sputtered, tears building in her eyes as she brushed her fingers against the glass holding the picture in the frame, as she let out a small adorable hiccup
“I just had to think that…” Camila muttered, walking towards the emotional witch to try and comfort her
