With a loving mother to nurture her
With a loving father to protect her
With a loving brother to guide her
She was five
With stars in her eyes
With a spark in her smile
With a light that could put the sun to shame
She was eleven
With dimmed eyes
With less of a smile
With pieces of her soul lost
She was sixteen
Wandering with no direction
Lost in her own mind
Masking her pain behind smiles
She is six feet under
No longer able to understand her worth
No longer having the time to fix things
Six feet under
Where her loving family buried her
