    Garlands of fall leaves are strung between buildings, pumpkins are scattered around the walls, the scent of spices fills the chilly air, and everything feels warm and cozy.

    And Ranboo is standing in front of it all, a grin spread wide across their face. The patch of gauze is gone from their left eye, and there’s no evidence of the knife across their face other than a thin scabbed line cutting through their left eyebrow and their left eye opening just a little less than it used to. It’s not slowing them down any, though.

    “Come on!” they say, pulling Tubbo and Tommy into the fray. “Let- let me show you around!”

    “Tommy! Tubbo!” Niki’s voice cheers. “Come on over! Join the fun.”
