   Summary

   With a messy divorce and a lost custody battle behind him, Chase is trying to put his life back together... if it was ever together to begin with. Step one: don't get fired.
   Unfortunately, the entire damn city and everyone in it seems dead set on setting him back.

   In a world where superhuman individuals known as anomalies are found, trained and put on selected career paths by the Academy, many do their best to lay low and keep their freedom. Some choose to fight back, and a few play at games of their own, utterly unconcerned with the Academy's efforts to contain them.
