Commission - Planetary Paunch

Summary:

When the Chaos Bringer arrives in system, all hope seems lost for the people of Earth. But, neither them nor Unicron expected June Darby to step up to the plate and 'handle' the situation.

Side note: There's an alternate ending with June becoming essentially a female-Unicron, but the commissioner didn't want that. Let me know if that's something you guys want to see.

Side-Side note: I wasn't expecting this to be written around the same time the Death Battle for Unicron vs Galactus to be announced, so this is just a happy coincidence.

Work Text:

(2342)

The date was July 3rd, and the entire human race was in shocked silence. Everyone across the globe was watching the stars above, but none could believe what they were seeing. Within the hidden concrete bunker of the Autobot base in Jasper Nevada, most of Team Prime was watching the video feed of a deep space satellite focused on Mars, and for good reason: Unicron the Chaos Bringer had arrived.

No one knew when or how He had shown up in the solar system - one day He wasn't there, the next He was. This alone was enough for the Autobots and Decepticons battling one another upon Earth to form a begrudging alliance to try and repel the Chaos Bringer - meaning an even more begrudging attempt to ally with the humans for the latter. And to be honest, the hard part wasn't getting their help or even convincing them that what was approaching their world was an all-consuming robotic god of darkness - no, it was getting them to work together with themselves and come to a solution they can all agree to. Luckily, that process was sped up when their sole moon base on one of Jupiter's moons went dark.

Unfortunately, even with the combined might of humanity's rapidly-evolving technology and what little the Cybertronians had to offer wasn't looking to be enough to repel the Dark God. Chemical weapons, energy emitters, magnetically accelerated ballistics, even nuclear deterrents didn't even so much as slow Him down. And as He approached ever closer towards Mars, it was becoming all the more clear that it would take a daunting miracle of legendary proportions to overcome this ancient evil - Optimus Prime himself realized this and began developing a plan to travel out to Unicron Himself and unleash the power of the Matrix of Leadership upon the Planet Eater. And as the Destroyer grew ever closer to humanity's first ever colonized world…

He vanished.

At first, it was assumed that the long range sensors around Mars malfunctioned in His presence, but by all accounts from the Earth-borne readings, everything was working properly - they still had contact with Mars, and they were just as confused as to what happened. To put it simply, the moon-sized devourer had just… disappeared, and for no apparent reason. It wouldn't be for another hour or so until the Autobot base received a call from one of their own stationed on the red giant itself, and in that time many were growing to fear that Unicron had simply skipped Mars all together somehow and was gunning for Earth itself.

The real answer was… solid proof that the truth could be stranger than fiction.

…

Jack Darby could only open and close his mouth as he tried to process what he was looking at. It defied all logic, any form of reason, and he was fairly certain this was breaking the laws of physics in some way. And yet, no matter how much he rubbed his eyes or wondered if he was going insane - the sight before him wasn't going away.

June Darby let out a long-drawn groan of pain as she tried to desperately clutch at her massively engorged middle as her body experienced the world's largest case of indigestion to ever exist, but she wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being able to calm her distended stomach. To call it ‘big’ would be the understatement of the century. The vast, pale surface of her stomach stretched out for miles on end - far larger than even the tallest of buildings, and even disappeared behind the encroaching clouds - a newly reintroduced phenomenon for Mar's reinvigorated atmosphere. It stretched across so far and wide that it reached further than the human eye could reliably detect; to see the whole thing at once would require countless drones across hundreds of miles just to get the whole thing into view - if one were to view this monument of gluttony from above, they would see a ring of cumulonimbus actually wrapping around a large section of the belly, causing entire swathes of skin to turn blue and making the poor woman actually shiver slightly from the cold.

The sheer size was only second to the noise though - it was like the contents of an entire ocean were trapped within with the tremendous amounts of sloshing going on; like a tsunami repeatedly crashing along a shoreline - Jack's ears were starting to ring just from being so close. And the massive, jagged outlines appearing across the surface that were as big as mountains and slowly moving around? More than enough evidence that there was something solid and alive on that gut.

Honestly, it was a small miracle that the mother wasn't being crushed by her own stomach.

“Hey, uh… I know this sounds stupid, but… are you alright?” Jack asked awkwardly as he scratched his head with one hand - his other hand currently holding onto a phone that was currently talking to Team Prime's base back on Earth. Pinned to the floor as she was, June just looked back at her son and gave him a flat look.

“Considering the fact that I just ate a moon-sized Cybertronian that was said to eat entire planets in its wake… how do you think I feel right about now?”

“... Yea, stupid question…” Jack muttered to himself as he slowly pinched his eyes - he had a funny feeling that he wasn't going to forget this experience for as long as he lived. “How did- how did this even happen? ”

June laid her head against her gut and looked towards the sky as she pondered the question. “Honestly… I don't think I know. One second I saw a metal hand bigger than a mountain about to crush me like an ant, I blacked out for… God only knows how long, and the next thing I know, I'm waking up to a belly as big as a moon pinning me down and trying to digest the alien robot equivalent of Satan.”

As if to exacerbate this point, the hilariously swollen belly let out a low groaning that sounded like a thunderstorm going through a megaphone, followed by a deep, booming, voice that seemed to be shouting in Cybertronian - even if either of the two humans actually knew the language, the mother's own stomach was making so much racket that the words would only just barely be audible… but the tone behind them was more than recognizable enough to tell them that they weren't happy with this current predicament. June however, couldn't give a rat's ass as she slammed a fist against her monumental middle. “Oh shut your hole - I'm going to be stuck digesting you and ruining my figure, the least you could do is be quiet about it.”

A low, rumbling groan soon followed; only slightly less audible than the thundering rumble of Unicron's voice, but vastly more physical in nature as the stomach itself bubbled and roiled around its metallic feast - actually causing the ground itself to shake like an earthquake was happening, and also causing Jack to fall on his own butt with a yelp. June clutched at her middle as the entire thing began to wobble and shiver like waves on an ocean - the groaning slowly but surely growing louder and louder over the course of minutes, and than hours - it was sounding more like the bellows of a humongous monster than an unassuming human organ. Eventually, the two of them would start seeing large bulges - no doubt gigantic air pockets dislodged from the mechanical conquerors joints - travel along the surface of the nurse's taut belly down towards her esophagus. Those bubbles would slowly but surely make it to their destination, and the single mother found herself trying her best to brace herself against her own tummy just as the first bubble began to travel up her throat…

The belch that came out wasn't so much heard as it was felt. One minute the skies of Mars were full of clouds wrapping around the massive obtrusion that was the single mother's god-glutted gut… and the next, they simply weren't as a massive hurricane appeared out of nowhere - the apocalyptic windstorm being kicked up blowing away the white formations across dozens of miles worth of skyline - the lone settlement on Mars was a good five hundred or so miles away from June's act of gluttony and was thus ‘relatively’ safe from anything that transpired, and yet even they felt the air around them kick up from the force of that belch. The legendary burp was nearly as long as the effort took just to get it out of the poor woman's system, and would later be written down in the Guinness World Records for causing the largest hurricane to ever exist.

When it was finally over, the older Darby looked absolutely exhausted - her body was caked with sweat and her clothes were sticking to her skin as a result, but the look of relief on her face looked positively nirvanic. “Huah… that felt… so good… to get out… phew - that took care of the cold for a bit too.”

Jack could only nod his head slowly as he took in the sheer absurdity of this situation - his hair standing on end from the experience, and he proceeded to slowly raise the phone back up to his ears. “Yea, so… My mom definitely ate Unicron… and it doesn't look like he's getting out anytime soon… does this mean we win?”

…

Back on Earth in the Nevada-based bunker, the entire room had gone silent as they'd registered Jack's response - the satellite feed had appeared around the same time he had called, and was showing off images of a massive, pale orb roughly the size of a large moon that appeared to be ‘growing’ out of Mars itself. With the call in mind, it became painfully obvious that this was indeed the stomach of the diminutive nurse - swollen to epic proportions with the entirety of the Chaos Bringer's physical form.

Honestly, the reactions of everyone were… mixed. Agent Fowler looked as though someone had slapped him in the face as he stared at the screen with his jaw hanging loose while Raf looked like he was questioning the life choices that got him to this point, Bulkhead looked like he was trying to mentally piece together the whole situation, Arcee had a thousand yard stare in her optics, Ratchet looked ready to have a mental collapse as his own optics twitched dangerously, and Miko was wheezing herself to death with laughter.

As for Optimus Prime? He'd gone quiet - his battle mask up and his expression completely unreadable as he stared at the screen. After a solid minute of staring, he slowly turned around and began to walk deeper into the base. Ratchet caught this out of the corner of his optic and managed to pull himself together enough to direct a question his way. “W-Where are you going Optimus?”

The exalted leader of the Autobots stopped in his tracks but didn't turn around. A few moments would pass before he ushered a response - his tone filled with a level of exhaustion the veteran medic hadn't seen in millennia. “Old friend… I think I need to lay down after this.” Without another word, he disappeared into the depths of the base.

On the Nemesis, the mood wasn't all that different for the Decepticons - most of them were stuck trying to process the reality of the situation before them, with many trying to convince themselves that this was just a mass hallucination of some sort. All except Megatron, who simply stood in the center of his warship's bridge in dead silence while everyone around him quietly muttered to one another. Then, without warning, he turned around - revealing his optics to hold an expression similar to what one would experience when told that their entire way of living and existence had been little more than a complete farce and a waste of time.

“... Soundwave, prepare the Space Bridge for Cybertron. I need a vacation…” Megatron spoke; his tone more tired than anyone had ever heard before.

…

(1 Week Later)

After many hours of deliberation between Optimus and various governmental officials across the globe, they were able to cautiously determine that the threat of Unicron - although still actively present (and giving June's digestive system the fight of their life), was contained ‘for the foreseeable future’, and were able to lower their various states of emergency back down to peacetime levels. June was naturally declared a hero of humanity and given (although not in person) a number of awards and accolades for her service to humankind - including a rather substantial check she could cash in. Unfortunately, that was all something that she was finding rather hard to enjoy at the moment.

“ Unpaid leave? Are you fucking with me right now?” June all but shouted into her phone - her knuckles slowly turning white from how hard she was clutching it - with Jack and a newly arrived Arcee sitting off to the side to keep the poor woman company. “Listen, I know I'm missing a whole shitload of work because of this incident - I didn't move my family all the way to Mars for the fun of it, I came here for the job opportunity!... No, I can't physically work in this condition, but it was either this or all of humanity dies… Oh bullshit, you can see my gut from orbit - you know damn well I can't move!”

“Release me now from the impudent prison that is your body flesh bag, and I will ensure that you die last as I consume your homeworld!” A deep, booming voice from June's stomach interrupted loudly, causing the nurse to let out a sigh of exhaustion before slapping her gut a few times.

“Oh shut up, it's your fault I'm having to deal with this.” She chided angrily before going back to the phone. “You hear this shit I'm dealing with? I'm going to be stuck pushing him down to my hips for the next few months, and you won't even give me time off. So you can either give me what I can ask for, or I can ruin both our days by letting Him out… that's what I thought.”

“Human bureaucracy always continues to amaze me…” Arcee mumbled to herself in wonder as she leaned against the massive stomach - she was still coming to terms with the fact that an ancient god of evil had been bested by - of all things - a 35 year old mother's stomach, and all the nurse could focus on at the moment was her job.

“That's capitalism for you.” Jack remarked bluntly as he rested against his robotic girlfriend's thighs. “The end of the world could be happening, and they'd still be demanding that you come into work.”

Arcee pondered those words for a good minute, trying to find the right response. Eventually she settled on a human one. “That's fucked up.”

Jack could only shrug at that. “That's America.”

“Thrilling discussion about the American economy, you two - really.” June said bluntly as she leaned forwards to rest her face along her gut. It was about as comfortable as resting her face against a brick wall, but it was all she had. “Meanwhile, I'm about ready to kill for some pillows right now - this asshole isn't softening up yet and my face is sore. We should've never gone sightseeing…”

“Have you tried drinking some Pepto Bismol?” Jack offered jokingly. The flat look he received suggested that June didn't find that very funny. Thankfully, he'd be saved by June's phone ringing again, causing her to groan before answering it. “This is June Darby… Oh hey Fowler… well, I'm freezing my butt off again with the clouds coming back, I wake up each morning to a sore face, and I just had to fight with work to get me paid time off - I'm just peachy right now… blankets? You do realize I'm bigger than the continents at the moment, right? Yea, I'm getting cold as fuck, but I'm not gonna bankrupt the country for some warmth. I - phew . We'll talk about this later, I'm not feeling so hot.”

With that, June hung up the phone and leaned against her stomach with a soft groan of pain as another tectonic tummy ache ran through her body - Arcee and Jack instinctively scooted away as this happened, and soon enough the wave-like ripples would come about and cause the entire surface to shift to roil and wobble like an active ocean. This would stop after a few hours or so, but the nurse looked ready to throw up afterwards.

“Ugh… forget Pepto Bismol - I'd eat a bunch of Scraplets if it meant speeding this up.”

…

(3 Weeks Later)

“... I'm sorry, you want to what?” June found herself asking incredulously.

The pair of mountain climbers that had arrived out of nowhere and asked her the insane question looked at one another before nodding in unison - the gas masks they wore were hiding their faces, but they were both definitely male. “Ma'am, as it stands - your stomach is currently the largest planetary-bound object in existence. Climbing it would solidify our positions in the Guinness World Records and be some major popularity points to us extreme climbers.”

June looked at him like he'd just grown a second head on his shoulders. “I-I guess, sure - but it's not like I want hooks and pitons stuck into my skin.”

The other climber simply shook his head at that. “No, no, no - science has managed to develop something much more humane for this unique opportunity - suction-based posts that will allow us to climb regularly without causing harm to your body.”

June found herself staring even more - flabbergasted that these two were serious about this. Eventually, she relented with a sigh. “Alright, fine - but I want pictures when you get up there; not like I have anything better to do.”

(2 Months Later)

“Yea, can I also get a side of miso soup with that order… yes, I am the woman who ate Unicron… No, I'm not actually hungry, I just don't have anything better to do…” June sighed into the phone; idly tapping it against the side of her head as her stomach let loose another thunderstorm’s worth of rumbles - this one was lasting longer than usual and the single mother had already gotten used to the noise by this point, so she just shrugged it off at some point and tried to distract herself. The voice on the other end made her perk up slightly. “Give the delivery guy an autograph? I mean, I don't think it'll be worth anything but sure I gue-”

“A tomb… this infernal place… shall be my tomb… a coffin… of acids… release… me…”

“... Actually, I'll call you back.” June said before hanging up without warning, and then proceeding to direct the full attention of her ire towards her stomach. “Listen here you son of a bitch - I've been stuck in the middle of Martian desert for months now. I've had the mother of all stomach aches multiple times , my back, my butt, and my face are sore; my son has to visit me every few days just to make sure my phone is kept charged so I don't die of boredom, the hospital keeps trying to convince me that I shouldn't have paid days off because of this, a bunch of mountain climbers want to climb me for a freaking medal, the top of my stomach is cold as shit because it's breaching the cloud layer - and to top it all off, I have spent this entire time hyperfixating over having to throw out my entire wardrobe once this is done and over with. So excuse me for being just a tiiiiiiny bit irritable over all of this, and deciding that humanity didn't deserve to be wiped out because your sorry ass decided to visit the neighborhood.”

The response to that was too heavily muffled by all the intensive gurgling for June to make out, leaving her to cross her arms and huff in boredom. As the hours passed by though, her stomach began to ripple more violently than ever before - which was saying something since the previous gastrointestinal movements had enough force behind them to capsize an aircraft carrier with just a nudge. This was more like a tsunami was raging inside of that stomach - the oceans’ worth of acids within finally causing the various mountain-like bulges all over the tightly-stretched gut to wobble like jello before finally collapsing and rendering the entire stomach smooth as the mechanical god’s body could no longer take the caustic punishment… and as His form collapsed into millions of gallons worth of molten sludge, the reverberations of the colossal belly smoothing out slammed against the red sands of Mars with all the force of an atomic bomb - sending out massive sandstorms that went on for hundreds of miles all across the Martian soil. Aside from absolutely plastering everything within range in sand, the lone human settlement would be absolutely caked in dust and grit.

And as for June? She let out a sigh of relief that lasted a full minute before her head slumped against her now soft belly - the entire surface wobbling like jello as her face bounced off it before sinking in several inches. “Finally… sho shoft…” She murmured as she closed her eyes and let herself be engulfed in bliss. The energy it took to finally mulch the Chaos Bringer all but instantly knocked the nurse out, letting her finally enjoy a good night's sleep… and as her stomach bubbled and groaned around its metallic meal, it was finally ready to start processing everything…

…

(3 Months Later)

5 and a half months. That's how long it took to digest, melt, and absorb the Planet Eater. Armor plating that could get as thick as a few hundred meters, circuitry that went on for dozens of miles, and enough Dark Energon flowing through those massive, artificial veins to fill an entire ocean. All of it had been mercilessly ripped apart at the cellular level and greedily processed into the tiny, diminutive, organic woman's body - the raw energy and calories flowing into her body and… well, transforming it.

No one from either Earth or Mars had been able to tell what happened as she digested her moon-sized meal - the sandstorm her belly had kicked up lasted for multiple weeks - venturing out towards her by either foot, vehicle, or drone was impossible. View from orbital satellites wasn't much better - her belly had shrunk past the cloud layers after three days of non-stop digestion and disappeared underneath the billowing red sands. Those that were planet bound though could hear a distant rumble off in the distance though - like the roar of a ravenous beast that echoed across the Martian desert.

June had certainly changed from the event alright. Sure, she had gotten ‘just’ small enough that she wasn't breaching the atmosphere anymore… but that was currently small potatoes.

“Fuuuuuuuck… I can't go back to work like this!” She groaned as she tried to cover herself up, though this was obviously an effort in futility. Jack and Arcee were stood off to the side once more, although the two of them had a look of awe in their eyes/optics.

“I think work will be the least of your concerns if people start taking pictures of you…” Jack remarked as he did his best to look only at his mom’s face - though that in of itself was a monstrously difficult task to uphold; already his face was turning bright red. Meanwhile, Arcee had her hands palmed together with a look of abject concern spread across her features, with an errant twitch in her left optic - the kind that could usually be found when someone was about to snap.

“Alright… so your mom ate Unicron the Chaos Bringer - a literal god of evil among my kind, digested Him, and converted what was left into…” She spoke slowly, before reaching out to press a hand against the smooth, pale surface that was June's belly - the Autobot femme was able to sink her entire arm all the way up to the shoulder; the humongous layers of fat acting more like jello than actual adipose as they rippled like the surface of a lake being struck by a stone.

“All of this. ”

June let out a belch that caused the air around her to ripple at that, before letting a low moan of pain - her belly soon following by releasing a rumbling groan that shook the ground like an earthquake. “Don't - ooh - do that…” The nurse managed to get out as she feebly stifled another sky-shattering belch - just speaking plainly now was enough to make the pair below her cover their ears. The effects of the Planet Eater being absorbed into her human body had been… quite substantial.

Her height had shot up drastically for starters - while she wouldn't breach the atmosphere if she stood to her full height, the formerly diminutive nurse was now tall enough that she rivaled most mountains in sheer height. Even the likes of Metroplex or Trypticon wouldn't come close to matching her new build; for the first time in all her life, Arcee understood what it felt like to be a human next to the average Cybertronian. Her form wasn't all height either - millions of tons’ worth of fat and muscle piled all across her body gave June a powerful-yet-maternal build; it was like she had become the offspring of a fertility goddess and the embodiment of strength itself.

Easily the largest part of her ‘portly’ form was the enormous belly that jutted out from her middle. Thick, dense, plush, wide - none of these words could accurately describe the absolute monument of gluttony emanating from the mother’s own body. Its sheer size alone meant that one could hide the entirety of a small city within those digestive depths, and none of it would so much as even make a bulge across the pale, wobbly surface.

Resting atop that monolithic belly was a set of breasts that spilled out all across the surface, yet despite being big enough to eclipse most towns in sheer size, were still remarkably perky and round despite being so massive. And they were remarkably sensitive to boot; the chill of the wind blowing by was enough to make June have to stifle several moans.

And wobbling and jiggling down behind her, supported by a set of hips broader than the depth of the Mariana Trench and a set of monstrous thunder thighs that could crack asteroids like walnuts between them, was an ass big enough that the two cheeks could qualify as small moons were they to be in orbit. Despite being pancaked into the red soil, they still managed to be perfectly spherical; even in spite of the fact that they had to be several thousand tons worth of pure, plush, blubber .

Another air-tearing burp filled the air as June lost her grip, only to be briefly interrupted by something caught in the mother's throat midway through. And that something turned out to be one of the Chaos Bringer's horns - half-melted and covered in crater-sized pockmarks from where the stomach acids ate away at it. It bounced across the mile-spanning stomach a few times before sliding off and hitting the ground with a loud THUD!, kicking up a huge plume of dirt in the process. The poor nurse covered her mouth after that as she tried to hide how red her face was turning.

“Ooh… if there happens to be any more planet-destroying threats in your guys’ mythology… have someone else deal with them - I'm gonna turn into a new planet at this rate…” She groaned; her face turning an interesting mixture of red and green as her body made it audibly clear that it wasn't going to go through that whole ordeal again.

“Yea, sure, no problem - maybe someone else can have the Quintessons for lunch instead…” Arcee bit back dryly.

“I dunno, I think you'd look great with the squid-heads resting on your thighs, Cee~.” Jack piped in cheekily. The two-wheeler had to fight back the urge to punt her human boyfriend at that… but even then, she couldn’t hide the luminescent blue blush that colored her cheeks at the thought of it.
