    when grunk is first pulled into yumi's dark room, he assumes something is wrong. the silence is tense and yumi looks worried, wringing his hands together. grunk, who sits patiently on yumi's bed, watches the poor guy pace around his room and struggle to collect his thoughts.

    at some point, yumi stops pacing, but his hands don't stop moving around each other. "i, uh... fuck, um... this is gonna be really weird, and super awkward, at least for me, but..." he trails off, and grunk doesn't say anything, waiting for him to continue on his own. yumi huffs, seemingly frustrated with himself. he drops himself down next to grunk, doing everything he can to avoid the boy's gaze. "so... you know how you're, uh, transgender?"

    grunk almost laughs, but yumi looks serious, so he just nods. "well, yeah. is there some kind of problem?"
