Chapter Text
It's beautiful, is it not? The gift of life. You've come at just the right time! An ever so rare yet joyous occasion happened. A child of the forest was born, from the trees to a human form.
As the young infant was laying between the plants a lovely couple walked by. They heard the infant's sounds. Cries as much as laughter.
"honey, look!" the miss called out to her husband as herhusband walked over to her.
"I- is that a child? just here?!" He asked, looking at his wife in shock.
"it is. No one is in sight, this poor child is just alone here."
"we could take this child with us. No, we should take this child with us."
"I think that is a good idea." the miss said as she lifted up the infant into her arms. Her mentaility set on taking the infant home. "oh! Seems like it's a girl", she remarked. Her husband chuckled at her remark, walking next to his wife who had already started to make her way home.

Though, as unfortunate as it may is, nothing can last forever. The young infant had been given the name Ivy, which she herself adored.
Years had passed and now, she's 7 years old. It had been a nice few years with her parents, and Ivy adored both of them and loved them dearly
"what are you doing?!", "please don't kill me!", "I'm innocent!", and then a slash and thump. That's all Ivy remembered from that cruel day. She was hidden underneath the floorboards, her mother trying to protect her from the people that had just busted through the door like it was nothing to anyone. The outcries was something that would haunt her every step she walked.
How she wishes to forget this ever happened. It's so painful to have happen. This path that already seemed so alone and closed off, is now even lonelier
