Summary
In Denmark, you get tested for the carrier gene before you can enter the higher sports. When he tested positive he spent a good chunk of his life figuring out ways around it, and thankfully due to his own skill and a few laws in place he was allowed to make it to the bigs. He had never told anyone, not even Oliver, that he was a carrier. He'd almost forgotten about it himself until, of course, it became an issue.
Now his whole life has changed and he has to make all new choices.
