Summary
Kai has been experiencing strange nightmares recently. It’s recurring, always the same. Fangirls chasing him into an abandoned building, they touch him, then words slip out of his mouth and he jolts awake. There’s little differences each time, but it just feels like he’s discovering another piece of the bigger picture. It was stressful, and he could barely sleep anymore, afraid of experiencing it again.
Of course, he would eventually sleep, and the cycle would repeat again and again.He just couldn’t shake the feeling that this was more than a simple nightmare.

This fic was inspired by Kai’s final moments in Skybound before he wished himself away. Basically a “What if'' of that scenario. What if the girls got to go further, and Jay’s wish never erased the memory, instead burying it deep within Kai’s subconscious? That was the idea.
