One day in December, Sonny Munroe visited the set of Mackenzie Falls. She was looking for her boyfriend, Chad Dylan Cooper. He was nowhere in sight.
Suddenly, a hand covered her eyes.
"Guess who."
Sonny smiled as she recognized the voice.
"Zac Efron", teased Sonny.
"What", exclaimed Chad as he uncovered Sonny's eyes.
"Gotcha."
Sonny had a huge grin on her face.
"That's not funn..."
Chad was interrupted when Sonny's lips found his for a kiss.
"I was just looking for you", said Sonny after pulling away.
"I was also looking for you", said Chad. He pulled a jewelry box out of his pocket. "Merry Christmas M'lady."
"Chad", replied Sonny as she took the box, "it's not Christmas yet."
"I know. But, I thought you'd like getting an early present. Go ahead. Open it."
Sonny opened the box to see a heart shaped necklace.
"Oh Chad." She took the necklace out of the box and saw the letters CIAFFS on it. "What are these letters? Is this a word I've never heard before?"
"They stand for 'Chad is a fool for Sonny'", answered Chad, "those words wouldn't happen to mean anything to you, would they?"
"Of course", said Sonny, "how could I forget. You had them placed on that billboard across the street from my apartment. And, that's where we had the best second first date I've ever been on." She immediately hugged Chad. "It's beautiful. I love it. Thank you."
"I'm glad you love it", said Chad.
"Oh", exclaimed Sonny, "before I forget. My mom and I would love it if you would come over and spend Christmas day with us."
"You want me to come over?"
"Yeah", replied Sonny, "this is the first Christmas since we started dating, and I would really like to spend it with my boyfriend."
Chad smiled.
"Count me in", he said.
"Great", said Sonny, "so, we're spending Christmas together."
"Good."
"Good."
"Fine."
"Fine."
They both laughed. Sonny wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I have to say that this is my favorite part of this year."
"What?"
"Us", said Sonny.
"Mine too."
"Merry Christmas Chad Dylan Cooper."
"Merry Christmas M'lady, Sonny Munroe."
They flashed each other loving smiles before leaning in for another kiss.
