Work Text:
The area connecting his hips and legs ached, as did his legs themselves.
Occasional shocks of numbness flew down for only brief flickers and then were replaced by pins and needles.
The backside of his ribs were sore from a corset he'd been wearing and he had a headache brewing behind his eyes.
Blood pulsed in his ears and he had been trying not to faint all day.
He wasn't in any state to perform, but he didn't care. If he took time off every time he didn't feel well, he wouldn't have a job.
Besides, he was a good performer. No one would even have to know how awful he felt.
Everything would be perfect.
