“I’m home!” He yelled from the porch as he unlaced his work boots. He took off his winter jacket and hung it behind the door. The house was warm and pleasantly toasty even during this cold winter.“Welcome back, nene,” A sweet voice floated from the living room and Derek snorted. His step-sister was anything but sweet. He made his way to the living room and huffed when he saw her lounging on the sofa while flicking through video games on his PS5. He glared at her when she ignored his presence and kept hogging the sofa and not letting him sit down.
