   Summary

   James Potter has it all. At twenty-nine, he's poised to take his place at the head of his father's business, he has great friends, a good family, more money than he knows what to do with, but it all seems hollow.

   James has been in love with Lily Evans for as long as he can remember. In spite of the dire warnings his friends and family have given him about her alliances, he's tried everything to win her over, all to no avail.

   Suddenly, the perfect opportunity arises: sneaking into an infamous House of Black party, with their fallen eldest son, Sirius, in tow. He would win Lily over and spit in the face of Sirius' worthless family all in one go.
