“Hello. I’m very glad you’ve received my call.”
“what do you need? why have you called me here?”
“Oh, nothing. I would like to propose a deal, though.”
“that is..?”
“Well, as you know, I’ve been looking for someone. Someone to mentor, to train, an apprentice if you will.”
“That’s why I’m here. That’s why you’re here. That’s why we’re meeting today.”
“i already have a mentor,”
“Oh, but he isn't very clever is he? Let me offer you something,”
“You could have infinite power. Anything you’d like, at your fingertips.”
“All you have to do is keep quiet about it, and give me worship.”
it was silent for a moment.
“i’ll take it into consideration.”
the other just gave a contented chuckle.
