If someone asked Percy who his first friend was, he would say Grover.
If they asked him who came after Grover... he'd say Luke.
The younger campers, campers who were still curious to learn what the bigshot heroes were rambling about at a given moment, would open their mouths in protest, or just stare.
They didn't understand, and in a way, neither did anyone else.
Annabeth was rescued by Luke and Thalia when she was seven years old, the love she had for Luke was deep and strong, and the pain she felt at his betrayal and death was that times ten.
But her feelings were so different from Percy's, she loved Luke like family, meanwhile Percy...
