“You’re very happy,” Bruce commented, as he joined Selina on the balcony of the hotel that they were staying in. She had started smiling while they were on the plane, and hadn’t quite stopped since then.
“Aren’t you?” she asked.
Bruce paused, considering; before answering, “Yeah, I am.”
“I’ve always wanted to live in Europe,” Selina continued, dreamily. “I was picturing France, but I guess no one gets exactly what they wish for.”
“Oh? France could have been arranged, if you’d mentioned it earlier.”
“Nah, Italy was a better idea anyway. I don’t know how I feel about eating snails.”
