Tales of the Pizzaplex: VR Edition!

Summary:

A collection of one-shots featuring our amazing pals from the Pizzaplex! Now with fun new adventures to go on with each of our colorful friends!

(Inspired by the levels of the characters in FNaF VR: Help Wanted 2)

Notes:

So this all started from me getting an idea to write a Moon one-shot based on the carousel ride level in FNaF VR: Help Wanted 2, but then I thought about how I could write about the other characters too, since nearly all of them have a level. (Except for Monty, but don't worry I made sure to include him too so that he doesn't feel left out)

Without further ado, enjoy!

Chapter 1: Carousel - Moon/Reader (Moon & Reader???)

Chapter Text

You hurriedly jammed the parts and pieces into the broken carousel-centerpiece, pointing your flashlight around to check for whatever was out there. You didn't know, but the staff-bot had told you to watch out for… something or the other, and you weren't going to trust Fazbear Entertainment's false reassurances of security.

Hearing an odd clanking sound, you turned from the circuitry and wires to glance around, staring at the plastic faces of the remakes of the original characters as they spun around you. Nothing there, nothing th— wait. What was that?

Taking a quick glance back at the circuit boards to fiddle with the knobs, you used your other hand to point your flashlight at the moving carousel parts again. Nothing. Until—
You caught a glimpse of a pair of glowing red eyes.

You pressed a hand to your mouth to stifle the surprised squeak that escaped you. Be brave, be brave, maybe it was just a malfunctioning staff-bot? Or something much, much worse…

By the time you had the common sense to turn your flashlight towards the eyes, they had already disappeared. Damn it.
Turning back to your work, you turned until all the glowing red lights turned blue, and stepped back as the centerpiece of the carousel spinned around to reveal another compartment with broken pieces.

“Dang it.. why is everything always broken here?!“ Growling out a string of swears, you were forced to put your flashlight down as you grabbed the new circuit boards and replaced the old ones, picking up the soldering gun to attach the new wires. You had just finished the first circuit when you heard an ominous giggle somewhere behind you. Dropped the soldering gun instantly, you grabbed your flashlight and turned it toward the source of the sound.

A circular, moon-themed face glared back at you, groaning in agony from the flashlight's light as you froze, keeping it pointed at the animatronic as the part it sat on spun around the carousel. Once he got fed up and disappeared, you turned back to the circuit boards with an expression of absolute bafflement.
Why was the Daycare attendant hunting you down as you tried to fix this stupid carousel, and why was he moon-themed instead of sun-themed?

Briefly, the image of two golden statues in the Daycare lobby flashed in your mind, and you groaned. How had you forgotten there was supposed to be two Daycare attendants?

Well, it wasn't all that surprising. You had never seen the other one up until now, and as far as you knew, this one was definitely not as friendly as his sunny counterpart. A shame.

Back to the task at hand, you made sure to keep your eyes open for any flashes of blue or white as you worked on soldering the rest of the wires onto the circuit board.
That is, until your soldering gun stopped working.

Confused, you smacked the thing a few times, the resulting noise drowning out another ominous chuckle and the faint clicking of machinery. Growing annoyed, you turned the soldering gun over, trying to see what could have possibly gone wrong.

But just then, a large shadow loomed over you, and you gulped, glancing to the left, only to catch a glimpse of glowing red eyes in the very edge of your peripheral vision.

Naughty, naughty… it's past your bedtime..

You froze. Oh no, oh no, oh no. You were so screwed. Panicking, you picked up your soldering gun and—

Threw it at his face.

He didn't like that. Not one bit.

With all the grace of a rumbling engine starting up, his growls slowly got louder and louder. Panicking even more, you turned to face him and fumbled for the flashlight behind you, flipping the switch on with trembling fingers and aiming it straight at his face.

He let out an agonized screech, covering his face and backing away from you, growling in-between groans of pain. He jumped back, his hand reaching behind him to grab onto a pole of a spinning carousel seat and spun away.

Still frozen in place, you looked down at the flashlight, mildly dazed as you turned back around to the circuit board and tried to use the soldering gun again. It worked. Once you had properly attached all the wires and circuitry, the machine in the center started what seemed to be a reboot countdown. Sixty seconds.
Wait, were you meant to ward off the moon-themed Attendant until the countdown ended?

A fresh wave of panic rolled over you, causing your heart to thump loudly behind your ribcage. You quickly grabbed the flashlight, turning it on again and shining it here and there, hoping to catch sight of the— Moon? Moon. —before he got too close.

The next minute passed with the sound of your panicked breathing and Moon's growls of frustration as you warded him off with the flashlight. The countdown ended with a loud beeping noise, and you breathed a sigh of relief.

……………..

'That was.. an experience,' You thought, as you finally returned to the safety of the Pizzaplex's main lobby. You leaned against one of the carts, wiping your sweaty brow with a spare napkin that had Freddy's face on it.
What you didn't notice was the pair of glowing eyes watching you from above, hidden in a shadowy area, away from the light's reach.

The eyes squinted, watching the lone Fazbear Entertainment employee with a narrowed gaze.

Intriguing.. I wonder if the little one would return if I messed with the carousel again…
