“Hey, mom? Can I ask you a question about dad?”
She seemed a bit surprised, but nodded nonetheless. “Of course, sweetie.”
“Do you remember what he looks like? I just realized we don’t have any pictures of him around the house.”
Izuku waited patiently for his mother to respond, eating as he waited. When nearly two minutes passed without his mother responding he became worried.
“Mom?”
Inko didn’t respond verbally, her forehead scrunching up as she seemed to pull herself deeper in thought. She broke into a sweat after nearly a minute of her beginning to mumble nonsense to herself. Izuku got up to stand at her side, bending down slightly so that his head was closer to her own.
“Mom, are you okay? What are you saying? Mom!”
“I can’t remember,” she whispered hoarsely. As she grew more frantic her face paled significantly, and all of a sudden she was screwing her eyes shut and grabbing her head in pain. “Izuku, sweetie, I can’t remember anything about Hisashi. Why? Why can’t I remember your father?”Aka a “What if Izuku's father, Hisashi Midoriya, is All for One?” theory fanfic. Summary
The day of the Hero Incident ends much more horribly than anyone could've imagined, but only Izuku knows that. He thinks as long as he forces himself to push through it that he can get over it, but of course, that's not how things go. His mom, friends, teachers, and even his childhood friend-turned-rival take note of his odd behavior and try to help, but he refuses to talk about what really happened. How long and how thin will Bakugou's patience go until Izuku finally confides and accepts the help he needs?
(in this fic, Shigaraki takes more from Izuku than he should've, Katsuki comes with the class that day at the mall, and there are still finals to be taken. Plenty can happen in only five to six weeks.)

Summary
Keith has never really been good with words. He says what he means, and more often than not, what he doesn't mean, leading to several uncomfortable situations.
One of said occasions happens on a planet during a mission, where Keith's attempt at complimenting the blue paladin is entirely misinterpreted, but Keith isn't able to properly apologize before the mission goes south, resulting in Lance being subjected to the 'gifts' the locals possess.
So now Keith is at an impasse, with his communication skills severely lacking in the comforting department, and his growing feelings towards Lance making everything so much more difficult than it needs to be.
