If anyone had told Lance that at nineteen, he’d be forced to make the difficult decision to give up going to college in favor of working three jobs to financially support his family, he wouldn’t have believed them in a million years. Even if they’d tried to tell him six months ago, the response would have remained the same. Independence was something he’d clawed out for himself as an omega in an alpha’s world; the second he’d been old enough to get a job to pay for his own things, he’d leapt at the chance, buying his first cell phone and paying for a plan out of his own pocket. The other part of it was an effort to lighten the financial load on his mother; being a single omega mother to three children wasn’t easy, which was a huge reason he was doing what he was.

The team of Paladins gathered on the training deck getting ready for some early working training, Allura and Coran had discussed letting the former leader and now Blade member Keith lead their routine, thinking it would be nice to go over some of what he’d learn training with such an elite group of fighters, Keith’s foot tapped on the ground. “this is late, even for Lance,” he said arms crossed, looking at the time that was displayed overhead above the door to the training room. “I'm gonna go get him” Keith said, being impatient as per usual, Shiro put his arm out putting it on Keith’s shoulder to stop him from moving forward.

The house was far too quiet, Keith was never that quiet even if he was light on his feet. During the entire day, he noticed Keith’s stuff missing, he had tried calling and none of his calls had gone through, none of his messages were answered. He was left, alone. He was abandoned by the one person he thought would never leave him.
Lance had gone to Hunk, Lotor, and Allura. They were his best friends in college, he had sobbed in their arms about what had happened, he screamed and had panic attack after panic attack. But they were there, all three of them were there and they had never left. Lance was sure if anyone were going to stay by his side, it’d be them.
About three weeks had passed before he had gone to a doctor after a really bad stomach aches . He thought it was all the stress, and him being upset at the time. Boy was he wrong… Lance was pregnant. He was pregnant with Keith’s baby, and Keith had just abandoned him.

This is an omegaverse AU. It's set in the ambiguous time of 'I don't know'. I will warn you Shiro is some-to-a-lot out of character in this. It could be interpreted as his evil clone, or that Shiro simply snapped due to lack of sleep. However you'd like to take it.
After the first chapter the following ones are each a direct continuation of it. Sort of a choose your own adventure. So if you think he's with Allura go to chapter 2, if you think he's with Pidge go to 3, and so on. I tried to imagine how the various people would react to Shiro's behavior, and this is what I came up with. -

Although he was nervous, he moved onto college campus hoping for the best. Getting his own room, keeping his grades up, and learning as much as possible.
However, when he's forced to move into a double room and live with some stranger, Keith was dreading the upcoming semester. He won't have any privacy and who knows what kind of person this roommate would be. As long as he stayed out of Keith's way, living together might be tolerable. “See?” Shiro was laughing at him as Keith hurried to clean up his shirt.
“Yeah, I’m taking a good fucking look…” His eyes kept darting back to the lifeguard, watching him cross those toned tan legs high up on his tower, basking in the summer sun.
