“Wait a second,” Pidge said. “Did the text go something like if you were a fruit, you’d be a fine-apple?”
"How'd you know? Do you have another phone we don't know about?" I asked.
"No you idiot. You ended up texting another one of my friends."
Somehow, drunk Lance ended up sending a cheesy pick up line to a random number. And guess who replies? None other than Keith, a friend of Pidge and someone who doesn't interact with most people outside of his circle.

Summary
Hunk and Lance have two options following their attempted “theft”: a whipping followed by the loss of their hands or a foray into the Pit of Doom where if they escape alive they’ll be allowed to leave. Neither option though gives them a chance to save the two child slaves that desperately need their help. So Lance proposes a new option: himself, all alone, facing down the dangers and traps while suffering the effects of a deadly poison and if he succeeds they all go free. And Hunk can only watch as the one-sided game to the death begins.
Or, where Lance plays a game of dungeons and dragons. Literally.

Lance should have known that nothing was going to go his way, from the moment of that failed simulation, the whole “bonding” thing, Pidge saying some weird alien chatter stuff about some “Voltron” and then to add even more icing to the cake, Takashi Shirogane alive after crashing some alien ship near Garrison and then subsequently saving him and now stuck inside in some rusty, close to falling apart, cabin waiting for Shirogane to wake up.
Actually, scratch that.
He should have known everything was going off the rails the moment he saw those dreaded two lines from the white device that came in a (super misleading!) blue box.
Because there is definitely nothing worse than being a fugitive than being a pregnant fugitive.
Everything becomes harder when Lance finds out he is pregnant. Vowing not to cause trouble for said baby, Lance suddenly finds himself in space. Part of an intergalactic war, Lance has a duty—both as a Paladin of Voltron and... as the father of his unborn baby.

Lance is a college freshman at Galaxy Garrison University on a swim scholarship taking classes to put him on the path of his dream to be a NASA pilot. In order to do that he needs to maintain his grades and his calculus class is proving to be an obstacle. But Lance’s TA, Shane, is a great resource and he’s feeling confident that with the senior’s help he'll achieve the grade he needs.
Except it seems Shane is interested in more than just helping Lance get an A. He’s very much interested in Lance. And 'no' is not an acceptable answer for this tutor and failure is not an option.
“St-stop,” Lance managed to choke out as Shane began to lower his head down, his chest too tight, his throat thick and unable to say anything louder. “Stop.”
And then there was the sudden sound of talking and a loud laugh from the direction of the dorm and Lance stumbled as Shane released both his hair and his grip around Lance’s chest.
“It seems,” Shane smiled at him, “we must remain star-crossed lovers for now. But don’t you worry. Our time will come. And I’ll show you the meaning of true love.”
