Lance is a Soundcloud artist in college trying to get noticed. Keith is a mumble rapper who craves purpose in his life.
One fateful night, while on the verge of giving up, Keith was listening to his favorite Soundcloud tracks when a random track autoplays.
It sparks something within him that he wasn't aware was possible. The melodic beat. That beautiful soothing voice. The wonderful lyrics.
"The Tailor..." He snorts, what a silly name. But his music. Oh, his music. He can't get enough.

On their journey to Earth, Voltron stops at a planet for supplies and finds that its inhabitants are not only incredibly generous but powerful and would make strong allies in their upcoming fight. In order to secure the alliance, the king assigns a member of his council to observe each Paladin and judge their worth.
Lance is delighted to find out his evaluator is the king’s own son, Prince Barin, who is a formidable fighter and pilot, and he’s determined to prove himself worthy and make Voltron proud, especially following the horrible game show experience with Bob.
Except Lance discovers that the prince isn’t interested in evaluating his worth as a Paladin; he's just interested in his body. And for the sake of the universe… Lance knows what he has to do.
“Therefore, it is imperative that our next two quintants together go smoothly,” Barin continued, “so I may give a positive evaluation of yourself. Do you understand?”
“Absolutely,” Lance bobbed his head.
Barin’s fangs peeked with his smile. “Excellent. Then our first order of business...”
He leaned forward, smile growing.
“Kiss me.”

It smirked at him with dead eyes and blood dripping down its face from a head wound, and its hair casting dark shadows over its face.
“Look at what they’ve done to us, Lance,” the reflection said with a dead voice, still smirking at him with dead eyes. “This is the price for being a Paladin of Voltron. Look at how much you bleed for them, Lance.”
Lance trembled, watching blood pool at his reflections bloody feet.

Lance isn’t sure he’s ever felt this tired before. It’s not just from the lack of sleep. It’s not just because of the near endless list of chores he does because everyone else has far more important things to do and he should try to pull his weight where he can. And it’s not entirely from the heavy disappointment that seems to emanate from Shiro every time he looks at Lance knowing that Lance doesn’t measure up as Red Paladin no matter how hard he tries. But all of those things together (although is he missing one? He’s so tired, it’s hard to focus) are heavy and exhausting and Lance is tired.
So, so tired.
"This is a beyond dangerous mission,” Shiro continued, looking at Lance, “and despite our best attempts there are likely to be casualties. If you are not committed to serving Voltron then it might be time to consider finding someone who might be better suited to the r—”
“Stop!” Hunk was on his feet, entire body shaking, as though speaking now could drown out Shiro’s intent.
Lance felt faint.

I was really wanting to write an actor au so here we are.
Lance is a semi famous actor, mostly known for a musical tv show he did a few years prior.
Keith is a pretty famous action star, he’s done a couple movies but is mostly known for his role in a post-apocalyptic tv show that he just finished.
Shiro is a very famous movie star, mostly doing actions or dramas, he’s directed a couple things as well.
Allura is also a famous movie star, mostly known for dramas, she also models now and then.
Hunk is a semi famous actor, he mostly does sit coms or other comedies.
Pidge is well known for her role in a sci-fi movie series.
They have all been cast in a new supernatural tv series called “Hollowed Out”. The show is about a group of people who come from various backgrounds who all have to work together to stop the apocalypse. The series is aiming to have about three seasons, it’s airing on Netflix and there’s a huge hype about it among many supernatural fans.
The actors don’t know each other well besides Keith and Shiro, will they be able to get along with each other enough to be able to make three seasons together? -

Summary
Lance twists a little, the robe loosening with every shift of movement, he picks up a cookie from a plate left on his side table, courtesy of Hunk, Keith guesses. Lance draws the baked good to his mouth and takes a slow, purposeful bite. His gaze never leaves Keith as he lets out a self-contented moan.
“So good,” he mumbles, his mouth curved around the cookie as his dazed blue eyes look at Keith with interest. He chews slowly then breaks off a piece of the cookie, taking a step forward.
“Want some?” He asks, his words were breathy as Keith catches soft sounds bubbling up from Lance’s throat.
“Uh,” Keith glances down at the morsel, a smudge of gooey chocolate (or well, the closest Hunk could find) brushes along Lance’s fingertips. Without overthinking, Keith’s hand whips out and he takes the broken piece of cookie. As their fingers brush, a shiver runs down his spine, he snatches his hand back. He shoves it in his mouth and chews ungraciously.
“Thanks,” he mumbles. Heat draws to his cheeks as Lance slowly retreats his hand, then lifts his fingers to his mouth, pressing his tongue against the smears of chocolate.
“Mhm,” Lance smiles and lowers his hand.

And, he tries to tell himself, that it’s not like the space family he'd made up here with Voltron would abandon him as they go seek out their own loved ones on Earth. But he’s so used to being left behind so why should this time be any different? Fortunately, Pidge is right there to remind Keith just how much he belongs with all of them.
