Summary
Hunk and Lance have two options following their attempted “theft”: a whipping followed by the loss of their hands or a foray into the Pit of Doom where if they escape alive they’ll be allowed to leave. Neither option though gives them a chance to save the two child slaves that desperately need their help. So Lance proposes a new option: himself, all alone, facing down the dangers and traps while suffering the effects of a deadly poison and if he succeeds they all go free. And Hunk can only watch as the one-sided game to the death begins.
Or, where Lance plays a game of dungeons and dragons. Literally.

In all honesty, if you were to ask Lance how he'd managed to hide his demigod-ness(?) for so long, he wouldn't be able to tell you how. What with all the crazy space stuff, he's just trying to survive while not outing his demigod lineage.
Of course, that doesn't mean he's perfect and he'll always make mistakes. He just hopes these mistakes aren't big enough to out him and his entire family.

Summary
One moment Lance was there, jumping and reaching for Keith’s outstretched hand as the cavern collapsed around them. And in the next he was gone, falling into the abyss. Just like that.
And no matter how much Keith, Hunk and Shiro desperately search through the rubble as they descend into the unstable cave, they can’t find him. And as minutes tick to hours and they go further and further down reality tells them it’s not a search and rescue mission any longer.
It’s a body retrieval.

Final Fic:(80) Follow You Home: Voltron is heading home. Except, for Keith, the destination of Earth isn’t his home. There’s no one waiting for him there. And, he tries to tell himself, that it’s not like the space family he'd made up here with Voltron would abandon him as they go seek out their own loved ones on Earth. But he’s so used to being left behind so why should this time be any different? Fortunately, Pidge is right there to remind Keith just how much he belongs with all of them.

(11) Crimson Promises: There's blood everywhere except where it should be, which is inside Lance. All Hunk can do is hold him as he shivers, respond to his confused, pained breathless words and pray that help arrives soon.
(26) Cave-In: Shiro and Lance are trapped in a cave-in. It’s really nothing bad, no one was hurt and help is already on the way, even if they’ll be in this dark, cramped space for a few hours more. Something though is wrong with Lance. And Shiro thinks he knows what might be the cause. -

The fact that the paladins were a jumbled-together group of misfits had never been more obvious than in the aftermath of Shiro's disappearance. However, Keith and Hunk found solace in each other on those nights when neither one could sleep. Shiro's returned, but trauma bonds are hard to break. / A.k.a. Keith and Hunk comfort each other over a dessert that's as messy as their lives.

Summary
A simple reconnaissance mission to an underground Galra base goes wrong - really wrong - when an unexpected earthquake leaves Hunk and Shiro trapped under rubble in a cave. With Shiro maybe-fatally injured, Hunk is forced to grapple with his helplessness and fear to be strong for Shiro’s sake as they wait for a rescue that might not come soon enough.
