Summary
Regulus is rescued from the sea cave, only to find himself trapped in his home, in his mother's arms, in his own damaged skin while he fights his failing body in an attempt to destroy the horcrux; a fate worse than death. Until he's freed from the confines of Walburga's "care" and must find reasons to live again, beginning with a rekindling of his relationship with his brother, and experiencing the first sparks of heat to come after an unfathomable amount of time spent wet and drowning in agony.
