Summary
Once they returned to school, it took very little time for Shouto to decide that he wanted to do his own research into quirklessness.
He wants to be informed on the topic. For a few very clear reasons: First and most importantly, so Shouto never accidentally says or does anything to upset or hurt Izuku again. Second, because the experience at dinner has made him aware of how ignorant he is of much of the world, and he doesn’t want to be an ignorant person.
But mostly...selfishly...it’s because he wants to understand Izuku better.
OR
After learning about Izuku's past quirklessness and becoming sure of his feelings, Shouto starts doing some research to better understand the person that he loves. But what should he do with his feelings, now that he knows what they are? The answer isn't quite so straightforward.
