At the time, maybe Glenn had used the excuse that he just didn't want Peter crashing the car a bit liberally, but the fact that it was four in the morning and he was knelt by him in his sloppily mowed backyard as he got snot and tears all over him and the grass told him different. It told him he cared for Peter the same way Peter cared for him. And he was a lot more okay with that than he thought he should be.
