Chapter Text
It was a normal quiet night in Gotham City. The peace was interrupted when two large figures broke into the Gotham City National Bank. The alarms sounded and it wouldn’t be long until the proper authorities arrived.
Bruce Wayne AKA Batman was in the Batcave sitting at his Bat Computer. He was not long back from stopping The Scarecrow and his latest scheme of smuggling his fear toxin. He was brought out of his thoughts when his faithful butler Alfred Pennyworth approached him.
“Sir, I have some news that may concern you,” Alfred said.
“What’s wrong Alfred?” Batman asked.
“I think it’s best that you see for yourself”.
Alfred showed Batman a Newspaper. The paper read that the vigilante called Nightwing had been missing from Bludhaven for two weeks. Bruce of course knew Nightwing as his former ward and sidekick Dick Grayson. He was concerned about this as it wasn’t like Dick to just run off without warning.
“That’s strange,” Batman mused.
Before Alfred could say anything, the computer bleeped a warning.
“Looks like someone has broken into the bank of Gotham” Batman said.
“Never a dull night for you sir” Alfred stated rather nonchalantly.
Batman went into his Batmobile and drove out of the secret cave entrance near Wayne Manor.
When he got to the scene of the crime, Batman saw two figures scale the building and climb onto the roof. He got out of his car and went up to the building. He got his Batclaw out and fired it at the rooftop. The Batclaw lifted him right to the top.
“Alright you two, how about I-“ Batman paused when he saw who he was up against.
Right in front of him, he saw two Werewolves. The first one was tall and had black fur. He also had sharp teeth and yellow eyes. The second Werewolf had yellow fur except for the face which was white. It had sharp claws and red eyes.
To say that Batman was surprised would be an understatement. He never thought that he would be up against not one but two Werewolves. The Werewolves dropped their bags and went down on all fours. They each circled around Batman. The black Werewolf then got up and slashed at Batman. He then fell to the floor. The wolf then lunged at Batman, but he quickly rolled out of the way. The other wolf then charged at him. The two wolves then slashed their claws at Batman, each mark leaving a scar on his suit. Batman was surprised by how athletic the black Werewolf was as he was able to dodge Batman’s attacks. The yellow Wolf then grabbed Batman by the cape and threw him to the other side. Batman was on the floor. The werewolves cornered him and looked like they were going to finish him off. However, they stopped and looked on. They started howling and then jumped off the building with their bags in hand. Batman was left broken and defeated. He mustered up the strength to get off the building and into the Batmobile.
He drove back to the Batcave. Once inside, he got out of the car. He fell onto the ground and Alfred lifted him back up.
“Master Bruce, what happened to you?” Alfred asked.
“You wouldn’t believe me if I told you,” Batman begrudgingly said.
“Try me”.
“I ran into two Werewolves”.
“What?”.
“I couldn’t believe it myself”
“Well whatever it was, you could tell me after a long night's rest”.
Alfred then helped Bruce get off his Batsuit and exit the cave. He then helped master Bruce get into bed.
Elsewhere, the two Werewolves went to an old warehouse. They got inside and saw their master. He was a strange individual with strange clothes. He wore a gold cape with a red mask. He honestly looked like someone from a classic opera.
“You did me some good tonight, my pets, and you brought my cash as planned”. The figure spoke.
The two Werewolves then started acting like dogs. The figure then got a ball out of his pocket.
“Hey boy, go get the ball” The figure spoke.
The black Werewolf then chased after the ball like a dog. The figure then went towards the yellow one and gave it a piece of steak.
“But you are so special, my dear. Why didn’t I think of this sooner, you're more useful to me in this form than what you were before”.
He then stroked the wolf affectionately on the head.
“Now imagine the chaos there would be if I could turn the whole city into an army of you” the figure stated.
