Summary
“Is that what all moms are like?” Kevin asks when they’re alone on the stairs.
Jeremy makes an amused noise as he scampers around the corner to the hall. “I guess some of them are. It’s not like I have a large sampling of moms to choose from.”
Still a bigger pool to choose from than Kevin, and the mothers he’s aware of are far from average. He supposes it doesn’t matter if that’s what mothers are like, just like how it’s never been worth dwelling on what Kayleigh would have been like had he known her. Had she gotten a chance to raise him.
Kevin meets most of Jeremy's family, and finds out about the rest.
