A surrogate father to all the vod’e
He was just supposed to be a donor of a new kind of army for the Republic
The simple sample of DNA extracted for a fee, a shebs load of credits
Alas, what Jango Fett did not know, was how much seeing his visage
In all those small packages, created out of a single cell, his, um, sons?
Well, clones they be, of the one mighty Mandalorian bounty hunter
Those wee wild ones Jango had not even expected to find to be cuter
Than anything ever seen in the galaxy, well, his opinion for sure
But they were so much like him, he could not help but fall under their lure
And fall Jango did, soon enough, all over and everywhere with these toddlers seen
The once proud warrior, having turned into a mushy loving and caring figure
Of a father of sorts, to the lot, the tiny people, images of himself
And hey, there is nothing to loving oneself, wanting something to remain
Long since you are gone, into the great wide beyond
And so, from the very first day, Jango Fett
Had seen the offspring of the experiment
He was set for life, with a child of his own
Yes, the one he had asked to be cloned
But hundreds, and hundreds and hundreds more
Each of them so much more than simply
Having been formed of a single strand of DNA
The oddest thing then happened
Jango making a hard and perhaps unsafe decision
Praying to the Force, yes, that one lore
His wishes out there in the galaxy out thrown
In the early morning, just before dawn
A wish of getting away with all of his clones
A life of their very own without the horrid war
Out of the blue, with that same kind of a hue
Jango Fett got his very own special wish
He himself with the thousands upon thousands of kids
Fled the place they had once called home
Finding themselves in the great unknown
A new start for the surrogate father and his sons
Having been granted, by the Father, Daughter and Son
